Don't worry. I purchased mine on thanksgiving and got it yesterday. But ace of vapes warned me about this wait but with all the good reviews, I jumped in. Unfortunately was too busy last night to try out.

Hi, I ordered on 28th/29th and funny enough the walnut also. I had made a mistake on my order and after trying to contact him on FC and two emails I had not heard a thing and was worried he would not see my order changes and would ship it out and we all knows what happens then. I decided to ring him and like a idiot I did not realize it was 11pm there (we dont hit the sack here to midnight most nights) and being the nice guy that he is he accepted my order changes (phew) just hope he remembers and didn`t think it was just a bad dream LOL. Anyway waiting, waiting, still stuck on "pending" but it is the silly season so will just have to hang in there something im not good at damn it.

I'm feeling as if I have an exotic after giving my basic walnut Nano a good treatment with my 1$ organic beeswax bar. The wax smells spectacular, like sweet creamy freshly harvested honey. I greatly enjoyed the light scent that filled the room during the process

I had to let it soak in after application on a high heat setting for a few hours before buffing it out, but it absorbed mostof it, leaving a smooth, glistening, nicely textured wood

based on the tiny amount of wax used in relation to the amount recieved, I surmise that this bar may well last me forever

I neglected to take a before pic, but this thing has a brilliant shine that literally reflects my flash(crappy phone camera)

This is a great long term treatment for the wood, and it is fun. I turn up the heat all the way and rub the wax stick on thick and goopy and just leave it. Then I unplug and let it cool. Buffing the cooled hardened wax is a lot more work, but it looks great.

I still really enjoy @Ed's TnT butter though for quick regular touchups around the top rim that dries out quicker. There's something in his secret formulation that goes great with the all beeswax treatment.

We all need a little wax from time to time. :freak:

Yes. Don't expect an Amazon-like experience with a lot of communication and constant updates from this small operation. I think a lot of people have lived through it but it is ABSOLUTELY worth it. The nano is amazing.

Just a quick update. I believe I've had my e-nano for more than a year now (I could go back through this thread to find out but I'm lazy) and the thing runs perfectly. The only thing that's happened after a year of use and some low falls is the grate on top of the core has become pushed in a bit. This thing performs incredibly well day in and out. Its really the only vape I use and although my experiences with all the numerous vapes out there are fairly limited, this one really does everything you'd want out of a vape for home use. (Okay so April will be a year apparently, but it feels like I've had this little piece of magic forever)

I ordered mine via express shipping to Germany shipped 12.17.2014 but it still didn't arrive :(
hopefuly customs or I will get it tomorrow. Is there a possibility to get a compensation from USPS since they failed to "express" deliver it? I'm not really mad if everything works out tomorrow but I think $50 for the service is a lot and I was hoping to get it during my holidays.

Anyway on topic (Probably stupid question because there will be a manual): Do you take a hit and remove the stem or can I leave it "in" the Nano? Or might even both ways are possible in case I don't want to finish a bowl in one run?

Do you have a tracking number? If not I'd email Andy about your order, he was running out of heaters around that time.

The Nano's heater core goes inside the stem, I find it easier to hold the stem up to my mouth like a chillum, insert the vape, draw, then remove. You can leave the stem on the heater core if you hold both, it'll improve conduction/radiation in the bowl, prematurely kill the flavor and increase the chance of particles falling down the heater core. There's really no wrong way to do it, just experiment with it. I always remove between hits when using a stem dry and leave the unit on the stem/gong when pairing with glass.

Does anyone know how long "USA Accessory" shipping usually takes within the states? I've never seen that option before. It's 2 bucks less than 2-day priority shipping, but is it gonna take forever?

The bowl isn't in the nano. It's in the stem/gong, so just pack a tiny bit, enough for one or two hits (0.03-0.05g) and use it. Then if you don't want more, you didn't start heating excess herb. If you do, repack, and have more fresh hits. Also, I recommend only keeping the nano attatched to the stem/gong when you are hitting it. Otherwise, you waste some of the herb flavor/potency by keeping it very hot, and also risk knocking over your whole setup which sucks and will break everything that's glass....

Maybe customs won't let it through? Since the nano has no CE certification, it could be they send it to a technical inspection, whats really common in germany!
I was in the same situation a while ago but asked here if someone (NOT in the EU) would take it for me from epicvape and send it to me via Post/DHL
Worked great in my case since a nice guy (to be true, there were 2 guys more) from switzerland (you know who you are) was so kind to help me:tup:
So I'm sure its not Andys fault.
Like @midnight rider said remove to avoid overheating/breaking the stem and you would also loose some good stuff if you leave it on:uhoh:

Is the black base of the E-nano made of aluminum or plastic? I noticed that they are only selling one's with black bases now, although there are a lot of pictures of ones with the silver bases posted in several places.

Oh yea I wasn't aware of the EC certification but I've got a tracking number and it says that it's in cologne right now (rather close to my home) so maybe I got lucky and it slipped through customs or it will be delivered to local customs :)
I'll update soon

Don't think Andy has ever really sold both. The older ones are "silver" (non-anodized). The black ones came somewhere along the way with other updates - about a year ago IIRC.

hi fellow e nano'ist's

ive been posting in a number of threads trying to get advice and it either gets ignored or I get told by admin to move my queries to another thread.

hopefully I can get some help here.

im planning to try my e nano with a j hook and also an ash catcher.

due new years im a bit skint so looking to get a budget beginners j hook set up.

so Im planning to get 5 s shape j hook pipes from dh gate and also one of their cheap honey comb ash catchers.

im just wondering has anyone used their e nano with those dh gate s shaped pipes dry? how do they perform? I cant find a picture anywhere showing a e nano sitting on top of one of these s shape j hooks? anyone on this thread kindly upload a pic please?

and also what should I be looking for in an ash catcher? seen a couple under 10 dollars on dh gate, honeycomb one and 3-6 arm perc one.
but I dont know if I should pull the trigger and try it out or wait til I can get a more expensive j hook set up together.

any help tips would be great

Any reason for a j-hook and an Ash-catcher as your first water setup? Many of us who use a water path like to let our nano sit on top and pre-heat for 20 seconds before hitting it.

I have used my Nano with a dry j-hook several times - I enjoy this setup more than the standard dry stem included with the vape. That said, if you want an ash-catcher, you probably want something stable enough to sit upright and hold the Nano on top. Note - the j-hooks you find from DhGate probably cannot support the nano standing on it's own. My locally made j-hook is quite heavy and has feet to keep it upright. It can support the Nano without a problem by itself.

Why not look at the D020 instead? It's a VERY nice vape for a beginner to glass - you can buy one for under $25 these days - you will LOVE it.

I would stay way from all tree-arm perc's from China - they don't understand how to make them. Every tree-perc I've seen from China has open-ends on the tubes with slits on the sides. The slits rarely fire because they chug out the bottom of each tube. Those pieces are very chuggy and fragile in my experience. Go ahead and try any other perc out there, but I would avoid the tree-arm percs.

Think part of your issue might be with terminology. By s shape j hook do you mean a sherlock type or something else? I think some of the Chinese vendors call them "s shape", but don't think its common term here. FWIW a picture - or link to one - is worth a thousand words, if not more.

Check on @ataxian 's posts in this thread and others for looks at plenty of glass with j hooks and ashcatchers (and many other pieces). Don't recall if any specifically show a nano on them, but he has all kinds of mad scientist glass combos where you can see many things if you look.

In my personal advice, I'd get a j hook for use dry if you like and a cheap bubbler for wet. Putting j hook and ashcatcher together then putting nano on it can certainly be done, but could be a bit tricky and take some practice to use easily. There are many bubblers out there from China. D020 still remains a favorite and is relatively cheap here, though not sure about shipping costs to UK. That same vendor (sunshinestore), has many different pieces and a pretty good rep here on FC. More diffusion can be pretty, but less will preserve more flavor. Honeycombs and trees (arms) generally create more diffusion while showerhead types with slits are easier to control diffusion and keep it pretty low.

You may want to reconsider if the j hooks you're looking at are like these on sunshinestore here. The flat mouthpieces have a smaller hole (and probably with varying sizes due to Chinese QC), that don't allow as much airflow and are usually more difficult to clean.

Just listen to @Ratchett above. He just beat me posting but  about how much GMTA!

I have never dabbed before, but the other night I couldnt hold off anymore. Got a cheap quartz castle and some butane for my creme brulee torch. Needless to say I will never be doing that again. Its odd too because so many people seem to prefer dabbing. Is it just preference? I cant imagine it being any easier to consume concentrates than with the nano. Im sure you could get a better torch or a banger or wever, but I cant imagine it EVER being better than vaping through a water pipe, with cotton or ss. Though wish there was a better solution as I still feel weird about cotton and ss, even though they both work just fine and really dont effect taste.

But the current black bases are made of anodized aluminum, right? I'm glad to hear that. I do like the look of the silver ones quite a bit. It would be nice to have a choice of the black or silver base.

Another very very happy Nano owner here!
