I have a question for all that own the hercules:
I was in my car and was about to load some more shatter and i dropped the hercules on the floor, where it is a lil dirty. Since I have .5 already in the Hercules, I did not want to waste it. But I think some dust or dirt went into the cart. Should I still throw in my shatter in and vape it or should I boil for cleaning?

I was surprised to pull an intact hair from my kiss cart after having used it. Maybe the ceramic rod gets hot enough to burn the hair, but I dont think so.
You may have gathered a bacteria or virus, but it would be as dangerous as not washing your hands before eating.. imho

Dirty ranch work got mine sandy and cruddy inside(took out mouthpiece screen). Didnt get sick but had to wash all the dust and shit out.
Edit: Just opened herc for the first time since receiving hammer top, and absolutely NO leakage occurring in the bottom chamber. Idk what the difference is between hammer and a v1 (beyond the obvious) but it seems to fire with greater efficiency.

That's a judgement call on your end as we can't see how much crud, if any, got inside. If you're really concerned, don't boil it in water. Soak it in the purest ISO you can find to clean it, save the ISO, put it in the freezer. After 24 hours when it's thoroughly chilled, pour it through a coffee filter. Then put the filtered ISO in a glass pie pan or similar and allow the alcohol to evaporate. You will recover and clean all of what's in the cart now.

@THC SCIENTIFIC or the lovely @nao12000 --Would any ecig tank that W9 sells work with The Vaporizer battery? I am trying to quit combusting tobacco and have a nice Sieglei w/ Nautilus for home, but I would love something tiny to use working around the house/yard and short trips to the store or such. I realize vapor prodution won't compare and that's fine. The smaller form factor is what I am after moreso than cloud production or super long battery life. Thanks!

one time I dropped a nugget of shatter on the carpet and put it back into the herc to vape it. after about 5 puffs I realized the horrible flavor was because I loaded some sort of cookie crumb that looked like shatter into the herc and tried to vape it LOL. it tasted horrible for about 2 more hits after I took it out but everything has been working fine since then... I never bothered to clean it yet

On the KISS Globe? Same way that you've been loading it, pull the glass straight up, off the red o rings that hold the globe on. if you've been pulling the mouthpiece out and dropping oil down in there (Is that possible? Never tried), you might have a lot of buildup on the o rings. Try taking a heat gun to the o rings and then pull up on the glass globe.

the newest glass globes I have received are one piece, all glass (no separate mouthpiece). Still, you are right - just pop the thing off like when you load it.

there is not much space to grab to pull the globe off, so screw it on your pen and then gently pull the globe up. @Breathemetal

What the what? I just ordered a globe and it was normal. I've been wanting to order the boro glass globes off the w9 site for awhile but I've never seen them in stock.

Yes, agree. The main problem for me was occasional leaking from the 2 air holes on the side of the cart, especially on warm days or from pocket body heat. However taste and performance was up to snug with larger loads. The kiss mini accommodates a slightly larger load (deeper bowl), which works for me when I'm "on the go". I have several kiss carts in service, some LAYG and some max'd out. Going on three days of use with the kiss mini vaporizer and so far no leaking (with .4g loaded!) The taste is still fabulous.
BTW I just received the new glass globe today. I'll be trying this one with a 1701 ceramic donut!

@Nube Scrutator, how is the kiss mini cartridge working for you? I was always interested in the Gentleman v2 oil cart but I never trusted the manufacture. Now w9 has a similar cart but with a much better wick. Not to mention I can trust w9. So does the kiss mini get hot during use? Do you cool the oil by doing cooldown hits? Size of the clouds? Does taste diminish slowly over the heating cycles during use? 601 thread?Sorry for the questions, just really curious about the Kiss mini cart. Really dig the look of it. Mated to my HVD Omicron would be a useful medication tool.

Anyone used the nogoo nonstick concentrate tool for loading the herc? I think it could work well, put the glob on then just insert the dabber and pulse the heat slowly to have it slide off with no worries of damaging the ceramic, or shorting the cart.
