Dang.. worst of luck. My dog who normally isn't a chewer at all, got to my MFLB adapter. He tried to chew the wood and messed up the cord in the process. Even worse is that he chomped into the serial number too. Final nail in the coffin is that I ordered this from Vapeworld rather than MFLB directly. Not that I expected them to warranty this anyways, but this pretty much probably ruined any chances I might have had. I'll still contact them, better than nothing.. but lesson learned about putting this away. I've always just put my MFLB away and left this out without an issue. No clue why my dog decided that wood was delicious today.

Yes contact vapeworld , and see what they can do .
It may be a long shot , depending on when you purchased your PA .
But ,
maybe vapeworld recorded the serial # for your purchase .
I'm pretty sure MF keeps track of which stock ' they ' send to
their authorized vendors .

good luck with that

Have had my UFO for a couple days and it has been a classy delight. The stems are unfortunately acrylic, not one was glass including the two downstems. Really not that unfortunate since less broken pieces
I've noticed clearing to be the only issue, luckily my lung capacity is immense so I personally am not thwarted when attempting to clear but I have seen some people had the issue.

I can see my other water pieces collecting some dust as I have really been disliking all the ISOs and water changes I have to do with them.

The UFO is a bit awkward to use at first especially depending on the vape you use, most cups I haven't been able to see the vapor due to the angle. You may also want to initially press down on the cap to ensure its sealed. Once you start inhaling and its bubbling it should be sealed enough that you shouldn't need to keep pressing. The hits are extremely smooth even when milking it up with the UD.

I used a MFLB last week for the first time.

I admit I am spoiled from using the Da Buddha for years, I was not impressed by the MFLB. The vapor produced was very small compared to the Da Buddha. I know this is an apple to oranges comparison, but I was underwhelmed by the MFLB.

EDIT: I used the MFLB with a shitty grinder, so this could have been the source of the problem.

I can blow some huge clouds, comparable to a dbv. And I've had both at the same time. Technique, grind, and power source all play a role.

I'd definitely still contact them. I'm thinking your chances at a warranty are pretty good if you're just honest with Magic Flight. :D

THIS.
I have a DBV and you can see in my posts earlier it has a role in my arsenal that MFLB can only fill. So many people suffering from NVIS. New Vape Impatience Syndrome. FC moderators, lets see if I can make that acronym stick? It happens a lot around here. Guilty of it myself.

Good point. Come to think of it they had a cheap, crappy Chinese grinder that didnt work worth a shit.

I have my walnut MFLB now for 1.5 months, and I noticed a burnt taste while vaping in the last days or weeks. I let a battery inside for maybe 30 seconds (empty trench) and vapor began to form. At first I thought the wood, rubber ring or lid burnt a bit, but now I found the reason: I had to clean the wood surface under the trench. There was very much partly burnt resin on the wood. I had to use a pipe cleaner with 70% ISO to get it away (I know it's bad).
On the MF site, they write that it's not necessary to clean this part of the box, but I used my box only one and a half month (~2 sessions/day).
What's the reason for the much resin under my trench?

You need to use BONE DRY material.

Did they originally send acrylic?
I'm pretty sure acrylic was the "stock" stem until more recently. Not sure when they changed over though. Possibly within the past few years, because I remember seeing some online ads that mentioned glass, and others acrylic for the included stem. And I imagine there was plenty of overlap time, where Magic Flight, online sellers, and LHS might have had some of each in stock at any given time.

Looking at that photo, it seems possible that the bits containing the rest of the serial number might have fallen inside, or fallen out at the "scene of the crime". If you can find those bits, and arrange them all together again, ike a jigsaw, then stick them to a piece of clear packing tape, and that onto the unit, you might be able to once again read and photograph the serial number for warranty purposes.

Also, while they usually don't ask for returns of Launch Boxes, for obvious reasons, they might be willing to repair or replace your PA2.0 if you sent it in to them. That should be proof enough that you're not trying to cheat the system, and, unlike a used, resin-filled LB, there's nothing about a used Power Adapter that would prevent it from safely traveling through the mails.

Thought I'd post on cleaning the orbiter. I tried all the recommended ways that were suggested and found the best way was to use my water pick and power wash the inside with warm water, it worked well... give it a try.

Re: the UFO and the downstem being acrylic, that's a good thing. If it were glass, and you were to pull it off wrong, the stem would clink against the glass and maybe break. Then you have a busted UFO and glass in your drink.

Way ahead of you. There was definitely some of the pieces lodged in there, but again.. just my luck it wasn't enough pieces to put the SN together. My pup really went to town on this thing.. I'm just glad he wasn't injured above all else (electricity and swallowing small pieces). Whats even worse.. before this I was actually thinking of sending the PA to Magic Flight for warranty service because the button wasn't actuating 100% all the time. I figured I would just send it in if it completely stopped working.. and then this happened haha. Here is the culprit knowing he's guilty.

Great news.. sent in warranty request and was contacted back by Hobbit. They figured out the SN and sending me a replacement. One of the main reasons why I'm such a MFLB fan, the great customer service and warranty.
Will their customer service ever be beat? I'm glad to hear you'll have a new PA soon, maybe the puppy needs a new chew toy to keep him occupied :)

He has so many its disgusting. The little jit gets spoiled by me and my girlfriend, but lately still finds time to ruin her shoes (first thing I did was stash my leather boots out of his reach). He messed up the PA and 3 pairs of her shoes around the same time when he had a squeaky clean record before this.

Hey guys, my Walnut Orbiter/Cherry PA came in today! After days of mounting excitement, I unboxed them with trembling hands. Being the first time using either attachment, I wasn't sure how the session would go, but minutes later I was flying  Thanks to previous posts, just knowing to watch the box instead of trying to milk the orb led to a cloudy vape room in no time. Only gripe so far is that its too smooth, I couldn't tell when I had accidentally charred a few bits. Practice:nod: Lastly, I was expecting reduced flavor, but maybe due to larger hits I felt like I got hit with the taste train, it was so good. Now that we are in 2015, I am starting off a fresh year with just my box as my sole device and I am really glad I bought my glass in 2014 :ko:
