Thanks for posting this. I just came online to ask that exact question. What are others doing who use a DO20 and Ed's stems?

I've ordered a couple WonGs from Ed for the D020 and another piece of glass. I've just told him what vape and size, and they've turned out beautifully! Just send a PM to @Ed's TnT - he usually responds pretty quickly. Just be careful...like chips...hard to stop at one. Ed's an artist and it shows in his wood.

Ah crap...here come the rumors about me and Ed's 'wood' again... :brow:

Hello and good morning! All is well in my neck of the woods, been really frustrated as of lately though, this is by far the driest winter we have had down here in many years. Its terrible, there has been very little to if any rain for the past few weeks, everything is dry as a bone. Places that have always held water are freaking dry. This makes for a shitty shitty duck season! My new duck lease that is supposed to have 400-500 acres of flooded timber has just a little pond in it. All the birds are out in the delta pretty much on farm land that has been flooded by the owners. Been looking into hunts over there but damn they are expensive, they can start at $300 and all you get is 6 ducks, WTF! Oh and there aint no guarantee that you get 6, you may or may not depending on the day, I am not paying that much for any damn bird. Am really let down this year by Mother Nature! Oh hell anyway guess am just gonna have to hunt deer is all, dont get me wrong I like deer hunting but the whole time I am in the stand all I can think about is how Id rather be duck hunting, its a tough situation. I have my boys for 6 days this week!!! Cant wait to spend time with them. We are going to a Christmas concert friday night and hunting all weekend. Went grocery shopping with them yesterday and spent $175 on such. We got everything they wanted to eat and then some. I told each one of them an item to get and they were like mad men back and forth down one isle then the next looking for it. We were done shopping in 30 minutes! Oh we got sausage and biscuits, waffles, hamburger helper, hot dogs, hell you name it we got it. The freaking buggy was full and it was hell getting all that into the truck, woulda put it in the back but it was sprinkling the only rain I have seen. I am really looking forward to these next few days with my boys, they are my heart and soul, I am actually getting a teary eyed just thinking about how much I have missed them being at home every night. It gets tough coming home to a house with no life in it, but we gonna have some life in it this week for sure, there will be ripping and running, yelling and hollering, probably even a couple small scraps here and there but oh what a joy it will be to have them! They are all I want for Christmas!

@Slow Draw McGraw How bout it my man, thanks for stopping by, may I ask what you need the wong for? Id be more than happy to do what I need to in order to get you fixed up, just need to know what unit you are running and what size you would like 14 or 18mm. Is this for the Solo? By the way nothing is really out of the ordinary, I have been doing so much different stuff its probably something I could do for you with no hassle at all. Holla back and we will go from there!

@KidFated. Thanks for helping out bro! I really dont have much made for retail at this moment though, been slammed with wholesale orders and the custom stuff for quite some time. I am just about finished up with wholesale, did all the custom stuff last week, so am hoping to get the retail stuff back in stock soon. Its just go go go round here!

@little maggie Hope all is well! If you would like something for that glass just get with me and I will make it happen!

@beach bum There you go starting shit again, LOL! Thank you also for your input, you are a great friend and I appreciate you for all your kind words and support! You are a true blessing!

@KidFated. We havent dropped one yet but we have just a little over a month to try. We aint prejudice down here bro, white tail/reindeer hell I bet the eat the same LOL! Will let you know though, hope one of my boys nail one this weekend. Oh check this out, the Walmart in town had 15' metal buddy stands marked down to $50 each a couple weeks back, I saw a guy at the entrance with a freaking stack of em, 16 matter of fact, I was like what the hell did you buy out the store, he says no way they just marked em down and are hauling out another pallet load now. I didnt have much cash but I couldnt pass it up, got 2 for the price of one. Now just gotta find time to get them in the woods and put together then tie em to a tree. Was a hella deal in my book!

I just wanted to show off my new wong and stem I got in yesterday!

They are made from maple burl blanks I ordered from @Snappo. It only took two weeks from my first contact with @Snappo for them to be finished!

I sent Ed a e-mail after I got them for a few questions. He responded back within minutes with his phone number for me to call him. How is that for service!

Just wanted to say how happy I am and how easy the ordering process was!

You've done it again my friend, @Ed's TnT these all turned beautifully!! That tool is kickass too btw. Also every WonG I get in the future will be 3" like these, they're perfect. I just wish my first ones in the amboyna burl were 3" too.

Also thank you @Snappo for the redwood lace burl blank!! And it's still being worked into an AromaDog.

Well here's a quick little picture of the stand, WonG's and tool. Thanks again buddy and good luck with those white tails!

Well, well, well, I hope all goes well out there with you all! My boys and I had a great week this one past, we spent a bunch of time together hanging out and having fun round the place, we went and did some serious hunting but with no luck, the deer just werent moving in our direction. I did have my youngest 6 year old with me saturday afternoon and we had about 40 turkeys come by clucking and cutting up, oh did he ever want to shoot one, but its not that season here yet and that fine is really really expensive, think its about $100 a lb. fine for shooting them out of season. Hell to be honest if it werent for the game wardens and law around here the only season I need is salt and pepper! All is well round here, well as it can be, my boys are healthy and I am getting along. I did just send out the first order to Haze Vaporizers this morning for 14mm wongs, they should have them available soon so be on the look out. I am just about all done with wholesale orders and am looking forward to a little slow down, I have so much I need to get back in stock as well as adding the new items to the website and all like the haze, flowermate, hammer, and other such stuff. I really really got to get a piece or two made for the Vapman, I know I have several of you waiting on me to do so, so I better get my ass in gear! Hopefully I will have all this done in the next week or two and will have some good news for you all soon!

@mtnbike420 Thanks so much for the post with the pic and most of all the kind words! I am most grateful my man, thank you so much! If you are happy I am happy and thats a good thing. You have a fine Nano and those stems look nice beside it, thanks for the opportunity to do what I do bro, its was fun!

@rosedale Hello, I am sorry to say I have not gotten my AA yet, but I did receive a pic by email from one of my solo stem customers that had a 2" blackwood wong they were using with the AA and was having great success with it and very much enjoying it with the solo stem. I have been told by my guy in France that the solo stems work well with the AA just the way they are. I can not say that I know this first hand but I am being shown it and told it!

@NickDlow What a nice post bro! Thanks so much for all the biz you have given me and the fun it has been to make each of those pieces! I am very glad you like them as much as you do! I hope you enjoy them for a long long time to come and wish you all the best, you are a solid guy and have been nothing but a pleasure to work for!

I wish everyone all the best this Christmas, may your stocking be full and may you get what you all want, whether it be that one great gift or just time with the ones you love, lets all be thankful for what we do have and not worry about what we dont. I hope and wish you all many blessings in the new year and most of all a safe end to this last year!

Ed, Wishing you a wonderful holiday season sharing many memories and making new ones with friends and family. I can just tell by your posts and how you talk to folks that you must be the nicest guy. Having special times with your boys is a true gift in itself.

@CarolKing Thank you so much for the wishes! You are very right, just spending time with my boys and watching the smiles on their faces on Christmas morning will be a very special gift! I appreciate you saying that I must be a nice guy, I really try to be. Have spent most of my life telling it like it is, I dont have time for drama or BS, I dont give any of that to anyone nor want it in return. I am at some times to honest and am not very good at sugar coating my responses, my wife always said that I am such an asshole! I am nice guy for the most part and only do as I have said many times before to treat others as I would want to be treated. I am not that old nor am I that young either but I have gotten to a place in my life where I dont like a hassle of any kind. When I encounter anything, I like to look it over, make the best decision and run with it. I really keep to myself and keep things close to the vest lately, dont get out much accept to get parts, to church and groceries. Thanks so much for stopping by and always spreading the word about my wood, you are a great person and I thank you for all you have let me do for you! I wish you all the best!

Here's a big shoutout to @Ed's TnT and @Snappo and @ACE OF VAPE for making my first Christmas in Washington State so incredibly beautiful with their completely breathtaking Hawaiian Curly Koa Wood E-Nano kit. I've collected various little boxes or other bits of Koa for about a decade now since our honeymoon on the Big Island, but never imagined I would someday be using an incredible functional item made from this rare wood.

Ed just turned this curly koa stem from a wood blank that snappo claims is among the best he's ever seen. I've seen a lot of this wood, and I have to agree with him. The perfect tiger striping is unbelievable. Unfortunately, the camera cannot capture the bizarre color shifting properties of this wood that make it much like a wooden version of mother of pearl or a tiger's eye gemstone.

I love the slightly beefier diameter of this custom stem, with it's subtle elegant taper at the middle. It's a shape that is even more beautiful when studied with the hand instead of the eye. I'm guessing this will not be the first one turned in this shape, if other people like it as much as Ed and I do!

When I bought this blank from snappo, I waited several weeks because I knew I only had one chance to decide how i wanted this stem to look. In the end, I decided to just let Ed have artistic license to turn something simple and elegant that would emphasize the special grain patterns rather than drawing attention the the shape of the turned piece itself. It was so much fun to open that little packet having no idea what it would look like other than knowing it would be amazing. I'd say he knocked it out of the park!

So if you received a bit of Christmas money and don't know what to do with about $50-$60, I highly recommend that you get in touch with Ed and Snappo and make your exotic wood vaping stem a reality for the new year!

Well hello and good morning everyone! I trust everyone had a merry Christmas and all went well. My wife let me come stay the night at her place so I could be there with my boys when they woke up which was cool. Seeing their faces and smiles was the best! They got a bunch of stuff, new bicycles, an Ipod, an Iphone, PS games, clothes, toys and a new pup! I gave my 11 year old his first duck certificate which he said was a tie for the best Christmas present ever! He doesnt know it but I cut him out of a pic where he is holding the duck and put him on a marshy wetland background, uploaded it to a website where they add titles and subtitles and such to make it look like a hunting magazine cover, got it in a 18x24 poster that he is gonna trip out on when he sees it. Had the boys the last two nights before they went back to their moms which was really nice to be with them. Took my 11 year old back duck hunting yesterday, was really warm, hell it was 58 degrees when we left the duck hole last night, didnt see much action. My good friend took his two boys so it was 5 of us out there. A couple flew by and I told my son to take! I got him some gauge #4 nitro steel 3" heavy loads. We had shot several skeet just before we went to let him get ready which those are short light load 2 3/4" #8, they dont kick much at all. Well the two flew over and he shot and missed, I turned to watch them peel off, when I turned back my boy was shoulder deep in the water, hee had fallen back and was damn near head under, I reached in a hurry and grabbed him by the hood and lifted him out of the water. Well he didnt get soaked but did get some water in the waders, kinda scared him a little having fallen in but he hung in there and didnt let getting wet ruin his hunt. Like I said we didnt see much action, think all together we only shot about 20 times, my friends boys really werent hitting for shit so we thought we had gotten skunked on this trip, it woulda been the first time to this hole having gotten skunked when we were just about ready to go and two big mallards flew in, a couple shots fired at em, they flew right over me, I nailed the lead bird, shot and missed the second but we got one duck! Not a bad day in my book, was another big big green-head like the one I killed last year. Freaking head on him covered up the palm of my hand and weighs probably 6lbs. Woulda been the icing on the cake had he been banded but no such luck. Am gonna send him to Texas with my cuz when he comes over for a few days to hunt first of next month. He can get him mounted in a beautiful pose for $120 out there where they charge $300-400 round here. How crazy is that? It makes no sense what so ever! Anyway here is a pic of this beautiful duck!

Gonna be busy this afternoon packaging orders and getting them ready to get out first of the week. Gonna pick the boys up for church tomorrow evening and have them for a little while. They will be with their mom some next week, I cant wait to get them back, it really sucks when they leave. I love the sound of them playing and even fighting with one another in the house so much lately. It tears me up when its just me and there isnt the sound off them coming from anywhere. Am really praying yall for better days in the new year! I still have no idea where the wife and I are going, whether its together or apart but I got my head up for the most part doing the best I can. My boys are my rock and why I must keep on keeping on!

@Reflections Thanks so much for stopping by wishing us all the best! I really appreciate that and hope yours went well also! I wish you many blessings in the new year!

@Vitolo My man, my man! Its been a while, its so good to hear from you! I have missed you around here vito, I am sorry for not being in touch with you for some time. You know you mean alot to me and always have, you are a great great man and I am so happy to have you in my corner. Thanks for stopping by and I hope all is well for you and the misses!

@ChippyMalone Wow that is a fine pic you posted there! That stem is a freaking beauty bro, I had so much fun making it and was honored to do so! You are so right it sucks the camera is not able to catch just how stunning a piece it is. The curl is just amazing and striking, its truly a thing of beauty! I thank you so much for the opportunity to let me do what I do with no restrictions, that also made it so much fun. I am super glad you like it as much as you do and I do so thank you for all the kind words! I appreciate you stopping by and posting here with those words and the pic, you did a great job off showing off my work and I thank you for that! I hope all has been well for you and wish you all the best in the new year!

@Ed's TnT what a wonderful day with family you had. I enjoyed imagining all the duck hunting adventures. I'm glad you like the photo, as I waited until I could take enough time to really show off your work and @Snappo's custom ordered wood.

If you would like me to take a 50 states legal photo for your business promotion purposes, I'd be happy to set that up too.

Wow, such gorgeous pics! I want to order a stem for my Air & assume the Solo stems will fit fine. I have 2 questions that may have been asked before, but I haven't seen the answers:

1. Which kind of wood is the most flavor-neutral? Do different kinds impart different taste to vapor?

2. Ed, what do you charge for your work if I order some exotic stem wood from Snappo & he sends it to you?

Hello and good morning everyone!

@ChippyMalone Thanks for stopping by bro and the offer as well! I look forward to what you come up with as far as the photo. Yes I had a great time with my boys, I am so blessed to have them in my life, they are the greatest gifts I have ever been given, the Lord has been so good to me! I had them last night and will have them a couple more days this week before they go back to school next week. Oh we have a lot planned and a bunch of fireworks to shoot! My 11 year olds bday is friday also so its gonna be big times around my way. Oh man, we are finally getting some rain down here too, the new duck lease I got in on earlier in the year is beginning to flood, there is so much more water area now. Its supposed to be a really ducky day with a 60% chance of rain friday morning so we are going to hit it hard and hope we nail em! Will keep you informed and will report back on the days hunt soon!

@OyVape Thanks for the stopping by! I cant say for certain my self that the solo stems will fit the AA, I have had a customer send me a pic showing his AA and a Blackwood solo wong in it and said he had nothing but good times with that setup. I also know one of my dealers has been selling AA's and has stated that the wood solo stems fit just fine in it. I wont know myself until I have one in my hands which I am supposed to have by the middle of next month. All the woods I use for solo stems are very dense woods, the flavor at first will be kinda earthy but will dissipate the more it it used when it has been coated with vapor. As far as price goes, its generally about $30, if you wanna do inlay thats gonna be an additional cost and something we can discuss. For the most part a wooden stem with a little flare added like a neat groove wrapped around it and detailing is about $30. I hope I have been helpful. Pls let me know if and when you would like to do something and we will go from there. I thank you in advance for the opportunity to do what I love!

What's up Ed!? I glad to hear you and the family had a good Christmas.

Those birds should be heading south now, it's finally starting to feel like winter up here. Me an my girl went up to the white mountains in NH! We did some snowmobiling in the mountains and other girly xmas stuff lol gotta keep the other half happy.

We stayed at a B&B and it had a log cabin type of theme and my nano and stand/stems fit it perfectly! We had a great time!

Anyway Ed I hope you have a happy and prosperous new year enjoy everyday my friend!

Happy new year everyone! I hope you alls have gotten off to a great start! All is well down this way, been getting hella rain the past few couplea three days, even got a couple twisters even farther south. Its that weird mississippi weather, it was 73 earlier and just damn hot for this time of year. It sucks we are getting through Christmas, just made the new year and here it is 70+ are you kidding! Spring is just around the corner and it will be hot hot before I know it.

@NickDlow Thanks for stopping by, glad you also had a good time over the holiday. I been seeing that cold weather up your way, I really been looking for all those ducks you got sticking around. Its supposed to be a low of 17 Wednesday morning! Wow you dont know, I have put aside 4 days to give it hell and all I got to whack some ducks the end of this week. Supposed to have family and a friend coming in from Texas to get in on these big green heads, we are hoping like hell for some ducky days. I got to say that Redwood combo is by far some of the sweetest pieces I have had the pleasure to work on, thanks so much! I wish you well and all the best!

@little maggie Better late than never! Thank you so much for stopping by, I appreciate you doing so and hope you had a great time as well! Have had my kids several days over the last few and we had great times, just being with them is such a blessing, I can never get enough of it! Have eyed a couple sticks of wood just for your project, hope to get to it very soon.

I guess its about time, I finally have the 14mm Haze Wongs listed at my shopping cart, having internet issues with the storm at the moment so wont be able to upload my web til it breaks. Here'e the link if anyone is interested -
