Alfa Vaporizer by goboof

I want to jump on this one. It KILLS the Pax. Easier to clean, smaller and more discrete, dials on the outside (no more getting Lube on your finger when you up the temp), and the chamber is the PERFECT size, unlike the Pax, which I find too big.

Wow that's great to hear. I picked up a Crafty and it blows the Pax and "Fired" Fly away! Im looking for a Crafty backup that excels (hard to imagine that being dethroned by anything right now). You think this is it?

Just got my unit back and it is definitely my original unit. So far so good. Only had a super short session, about 6 minutes on low with some very dank hindu kush. I'll let y'all know if it craps out on me again.

Hey all I just got the arizer air and it has been a great vape so far, it was between the goboof and air this year and it turns out that my bday is coming up and as a surprise my girl ordered me a goboof Alfa . Well I guess it's no surprise anymore. My main reason I went with the air over Alfa was I can replace the battery on it and swap all day. Few questions , I am a big cloud chaser sometimes , will the Alfa provide this ? Also is there a way I can possibly charge the unit on the go using one of portable USB chargers I have ? Does the alfa have a restrictive air path Bc the arizer Air is a bit hard to pull freely with ? Thanks all and happy holidays

If there is any change in battery life or performance, would love to know..thanks
My battery took about 7 hrs to charge, but I using it while it was charging. After it was done charging I did another 3 long sessions with my girl and my light is still green. It is performing as it should and my battery seems like it has improved.

Hi everyone,

Noob here. I read through this post and decided to purchase an Alfa. It worked great for me, twice. Third session, device started warming, then got the red flashing light. Pretty bummed.

After reading this I think this thing doesn't sound ready for prime time. Sorry it's already caused you grief.

Just so you know, new units from gotvape since the 23rd have been updated with software to correct the issue I have been told. Yes, bummer there is an issue, but considering it's a new product and the issue has been resolved gives me confidence goboof knows what they are doing and stand behind their product. Even the new Mighty/Crafty have had reported issues here......

Anyway, back to rockin my Alfa! Forgot how quickly this gets you buzzed at medium heat. Compared to the Mighty the pull is a bit restrictive, battery life half. But at $300 less if I could only have one vape I'd go with the Alfa and buy some killer bud with extra cash.

One tip on connecting a bubbler, I took a cap from an ecig, cut out top of cap and it fits perfectly on mouth piece to match 14mm connection

I'm pretty happy with my Alfa and I'm confident that Goboof/gotvape will take care of any issues that arise. I simply can't put this thing down, even when I'm not using it....still on my honeymoon I guess.

I love my Alfa, but have been wondering about the Mighty as well, I'm assuming you have both , how is the Mighty in general? Would love to hear more about it, especially compared to the Alfa.

Enjoy the honeymoon:love:

Actually looking back on it now, I'm glad gotvape and goboof showed quality control by not shipping any units before issue ressolved. I was without mine for 4 weeks, and the fact I missed it so much shows me how much I really love that little black box.

I do and really love the Mighty as well. I just got it so don't want to make a bunch of comments, but so far I can tell it eats the bud up faster and first draw taste is amazing. I'm making it the party passer since I think anyone can hit the Mighty and get baked. anyone can hit the Alfa really.... Kicks ass
Will post more when I have it for a month or so.

Thanks, so if I have the Alfa, I don't really need the Mighty? It's been calling me, would love to ignore that call and save $470 or so.

I have the Crafty and have been active on that thread. It's true a few issues have been cited but not as many per capita I've seen with the Alfa. In any case, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. I had nothing but problems with the Pax and I still am fond of it even though it gets no use.

What I will say with some confidence based on everyone's experience with the Crafty and Mighty is they are on another level for portables. I will be shocked if anyone thinks the Alfa is better and why would it be-it's 100% less costly. Sounds like the Alfa when functioning is a superb vape with a killer price point-somebody already declared its superior to the Pax-which gained my attention.

I would really love to hear more Alfa comparisons to the other vapes. I'm looking for a pax and Firefly replacement but highly doubt any of them are on par with the Crafty. I'm looking for a great backup that kills other high end portables that is highly dependable. You guys convinced this is it?

I think the Alfa kills most in the stealth department. That's what drew me to it. I have a arizer air now and should have the Alfa shortly. If you'd like a nice comparison I can message you after I give it a nice test.

I'm convinced as long as my replacement doesn't crap out, haha.

Mike, I think it's hard to say pass. Really depends on each individual. The battery was a big deal for group sessions and I get a variety of topshelf flavors so taste is extremely important, making mighty a go for me.

Thanks for the response. I have the Firefly and Alfa, love them both for different reasons, but then the Mighty appeared , and I was worried I might be missing out on a great vape.

I hate to throw this wrench at you but I think you most definately are missing out on the best vape today. I have yet to hear anyone with a Crafty or Mighty state that any other portable rivals it. Does anyone honestly think a $200 vape will be superior to a $400 vape? Of course it's possible, but highly improbable.

It would be really helpful for Alfa owners to share what vapes they are comparing it to and how and why they think it's better/worse?

Please share your Alfa experience compared with your Firefly.

So I have finally decided to narrow down my vape choices. ALFA OR HAZE. The only problem I see with the alfa has and is being rectified. Anyone care to comment if they own both. The Alfa looks like it is a better PAX which is what i have been looking for. But im torn because of warranty.

You might find this group review helpful because the Haze, Alfa and Crafty are used and compared along with a couple others...

@Volteric
I'd rather have owner based opinions. Especially from someone who does not sell them. Some of his reviewers are first time users.
