Portable vaporizer under 200 dollars

Hello Guys !

I haven't vaped never, so I'm totally unexperiencied.

I wonder if you can help me out. I want to buy a good vaporizer of less than 200 dollars. However, there are so many types, prices and systems. I can't decide what to buy :( is frustrating. I have spend many hours on internet getting info and browsing products, still I'm not sure

I am looking for a portable vaporizer for using outdoors, I think is fine if using external flame to warm up or by battery, but something good quality battery. I wouldn't like to be in the woods and battery is low, or even battery doesn't work anymore after few charges.

What can you recommend me to buy? Hopefully something that do shipping to Europe.

I appreciate your suggestions and time you took :D

Hello!

You have MANY choices for less than $200. If you are new to vaporizers and you do not need stealth, I suggest you look at the Arizer Solo - if you look at this site, you will see it is a HUGE thread (I believe it is the popular vaporizer on this site, at least by post count!).

Arizer recently upgraded the Solo and made the Air - but it's still very new. Unless you need something small, I suggest you save money and start with the Solo.

(You can buy spare batteries for the Solo, but I'm not sure how easy they are to replace)

Flame powered vaporizers are very fun to use, but they can be difficult to learn at first. If you are new to vaporizing, a flame vaporizer might not work the best for you.

I'm "thinking" about picking a Hammer up for many of the reasons you mentioned:

- Cheap
- Portable
- Butane run, so batteries are non issue
- Effective and conservative

Unfortunately, I don't know if they ship to Europe.

I know the vapo shop sells them but they are out of stock right now so that doesnt help much. I dont know if the hammer directly ships to Europe though. On top of all the points you brought up about it my favorite part is the hit size. Its the only portable I have used that hits just as big as my desktops.

Arizer Solo can be purchased from PuffItUp for $135 last I looked. Perfect for someone new to vaporizing. The Solo is about the easiest vape to use/learn, won't combust, great battery, taste is excellent and is built well.

Are you the sort of person who is looking for something easy to use right out of the box, or would you prefer a device that requires you develop a little manual skill to achieve the best results?

The little Swiss made Vapman sounds like a good choice and the vapman torch can last me a couple days on one fill doing 8-12 bowls a day. Can be had for well under 200 dollars. I really like the Hammer too though I only get 3 stems done before I have to refill with butane so I have to cart a can with me if i want to use it all day.

:peace:

@lokaloka, Welcome to FC. I would mark my ballot for the Solo also. The cost and the ease of use and of course the flavor of your vapor that the Solo provides. There's a lot of vaporizers out there some better than others. New ones coming out into the marketplace every day.

You need to go with a proven winner to ease you into the vaping lifestyle. I'm not sure if you are new to using a vaporizer or have been using one for a while. Either way the Solo will work for whatever your vaping needs might be. It is my fav vaporizer.

I would suggest going with Puffiup. The are vendors on this site. They are an authorized seller of the Solo. They have the right price and very good customer service. If you need to send back for any warranty service there is no charge for shipping. They send you a barcode via email. Randy does a good job of taking care of us too. He's very quick to answer any emails. Good customer service is a must when buying a vaporizer.

Good luck and I wish you happy vaping.

Daisy vaporizer is powered by a included jet torch. I think you would love this one as all the screens and tweezer tool comes with it for $149 you save $51 and can have yourself a nice day after picking up with the leftover money.

The Solo is a good choice for battery powered.

Maybe check out the Daisy from Triihouse. Its butane powered and it's a puzzle Pipe so it's fun to play with.Made from wood and glass.comes with everything you need except the herb and the butane.go check out the thread there is a lot of people really liking them.

Thank you so much for all you suggestions and advices :D
Most of you adviced Arizer solo or Hammer. Solo seems to be a nice one, battery is kind of big so probably it last longer ...

Hammer seems to be a nice vaporizer, however is looks like needs to be filled with butane pretty often. Small size, small tank...

I know the vapo shop sells them but they are out of stock right now so that doesnt help much. I dont know if the hammer directly ships to Europe though. On top of all the points you brought up about it my favorite part is the hit size. Its the only portable I have used that hits just as big as my desktops.

That's true from http://www.thehammervaporizer.com/products/hammer-vaporizer is out of stock, I found a german shop http://www.vaporizer-online.de/portable-Vaporizer:::20.html?XTCsid=61fad059947379355fc0361eaeed6bcb

And more expensive.

From that german shop Arizer solo is about 195 euros.

Arizer Solo! Quality through the roof! Got mine for 130$ and ill never regret it

That was a great price ! now sale price is about 160, which sounds good :)

Thanks for your suggestion and mention the shop. I looked at PuffitUp. It suposes they ship internationally However, it is weird I couldn't choose my country Finland, to check shipping cost or even to buy it. They ship to Norway, Sweden and Denmark. I sent a message to the shop, let's see what they say.

You mentioned great points: easy to use, won't combust, great battery and good taste.

Perhaps something easy is better...but sure I can develop some skills. I am interested on vape quality, so portability to smoke in the forest, good taste and quality vapor...

Do you have other suggestions ? :D

i would go vapman also,if you like art and beautiful designs.its very easy to use and hits very well.made in switzerland using the same tiny tools they make watches with.

you will have noise with all gas powered vapes.the hammer is quite noisy and uses a glass straw which can raise eyebrows.not a problem in the forest though.

if you need a silent vape with good battery life go solo.the solo is a very easy, quiet, powerful unit that can be used without any vapor experience.2 hour battery life.charge in car.excellent vapor quality I am told.mine is coming any day now.

if you need stealth go new arizer air.the arizer air is new smaller brother to the solo.It has a shorter battery time than the solo but is pretty much the same performance as the solo.

for all day in the forest i would most likely go solo to share with friends, although i love my vapman and would feel bad not taking it to use in a beautiful place like a forest.

Good luck

I appreciate your words, you mentioned the good sides of Solo, those are the ones I'm looking for..

I have never used a vaporizer, I just have seen reviews and videos on internet. Yeah, I just check out Puffitup, I hope I can buy from there, is good price and great vape.

Thanks for your wishes and have a happy Christmas !

Salmiakkikoskenkorva yum yum

Vapman, is beautiful however looks like a pipe for smoking weed. haha

Solo, I like that it looks like if somebody is drinking juice from a bottle (probably from the distance). Solo seems to be best option...

Salmiakkikoskenkorva hahah, I prefer just the salmiakki thought ;)

Why is everyone suggesting the solo instead of Arizer Air? Correct me if im wrong but isnt Air the improved model? What else is better about the solo except the battery life and possibly the airflow?

Solo has been time tested and a proven winner. The Air is still a new release. While the Arizer Air is supposedly an updated Solo, but there's no clue to the durability of the device yet. Plus the air is over the $200 budget.

Hey beautiful! When you say outdoors, you mean for more than a day? Cause then the Solo or any other battery powered would be useless unless you have a generator or a car to charge it up. I have been there more than once. The great outdoors need butane powered vapes to be enjoyed at its full, that's my experience except if it's only for one day trips or you don't do more than a couple of bowls per day.
Other than that the Solo is probably the best choice for your budget but if you go butane after all the Lotus is your best buy if you don't mind the crack pipe look of it and you won't vape in public. If people are close by then I would suggest the Vapman as you can heat it discreetly and then hide it in your palm and hit it without attracting looks. Although judging from your profile pic you can't really avoid that, right? :p

I decided for a VG coil instead of the Vapman for now due to the lowest price and just happened to get a Lotus at the same time for an amazing price from a friend who noticed my love for it... But I am pretty sure it will fit our girl just right if she needs the added stealth of the Vapman... :)
