I purchased an Atmos Bullet 510 battery for oil but it looks wrong?

So I just ordered an Atmos 510 Bullet Battery for attaching to 510 oil cartridges and attachments. What I realized after I ordered was that the threading is on the 'inside' for both the pen and the cartridge.. Like they both look like the female ends that something would screw into.

This is the pen I ordered. In the second picture you can see the threads are on the inside, that's exactly how my cartridge looks as well. Is there an adapter I can buy or does the bullet come with one? Thanks!

Sounds like you have an ego cart (since you say it has a female thread). If thats true, it will still thread on your new battery but the ego thread will skirt it, not ideal but will work. Plus the vape pen will not be uniform diameter. You could pick up some slim 510 carts to match it. The atmos bullet is a 9.1mm diameter battery.

Or to be proper, buy an 510-ego adapter for a few bucks. Not sure if that helps.

The atmos bullet has no ego threads, just a 510. Looks like your cart is ego (which means it has a 510 thread inside the skirt. Check it out more closely. It would be best if you posted a pic of your actual cart (with a close up of threads) here.

Here are a couple pics. I'm guessing the only way I can get this to work is with a 510 to ego adapter?

No adapter required, you can just thread it on the 510 thread on the cart. The Ego threads will be skirted. An adapter would make a cleaner connection, thats all. I'm guessing this is your first 510 or ego type device?

To be honest this is my first experience ever with oil lol. I've always stuck to dry herb for the past 4-5 years but I thought I'd change it up since I rarely feel a nice buzz. So I'm guessing what you mean by 'skirt' is that the cartridge is slightly thinner than the diameter of the Bullet, so it will squeeze in between the 510 threads and the outer ring?

Or is the cartridge slightly larger than the Bullet so it goes around the entire thing? haha as you can see I'm quite a beginner with this :lol:

Yes, the bullet will go inside the cart ego skirt, threading on the 510 male inside there.

Perfect! For some reason I kept thinking that the cartridge and bullet were the same diameter :lol: Thanks so much for your help! Can't wait til it gets here haha
