Discontinued The Hammer Vaporizer

Underdogette made a post saying they do not match. I never had and problems with silicone on the end of a stock stem. cheaper too than a gong too.

Pardon my ignorance, but do you just mean like a silicon insert at the end of a stock Hammer stem? And if so, where would one procur this?

Kinda new to a lot of this stuff, appreciate the advice and knowledge :)

I received my Hammer PRO vaporizer in the mail about 20 minutes ago. Very efficient use of herb.:)

Well I was trying to get a picture to load but photobucket's links aren't working for some reason.

mod note: Fixed. No idea why the link wouldn't work.

The pro is here. Looks like a new lock for the silicone gasket also seems to be much more sturdy no more rattling. I went with the red handle and I think it looks pretty cool. Not too much else is changed the air path seems shinnier maybe its stainless steel not sure if thats the same or not tho. And finally the stem case has black caps not red haha.

Thanks a lot @Head Tools and @Hammer Vaporizer wrapping presents tonight just got a whole lot cooler.

The stems herb chamber seems to be just a little bigger

PLEASE TELL US MORE
Seriously.. how is it ? Taste/flavor ?cloud production ?have you used concentrates with the nail ?
I didn't get the first Hammer, so my only use with it is the PRO. The one stem I used so far was wonderful.

I will have some concentrate done later tonight to try out in the PRO.
Taste/flavor is exactly what I expect from the strain I ran through it. I can smell butane in the air but I never tasted it.
Cloud production is whatever you want it to be, if you want wispy hits then turn it down. I had it set to the halfway point and inhaled somewhat quickly. Giant tasty clouds followed. I used my finishing grinder on the bud just to see if I would get particles come through the screen, I didn't notice any but there could have been some.

Edit
One improvement I would suggest is a piece of screen or mesh over the air tube where the stem goes. This would prevent any plant matter entering the tube(didn't happen to me but can.)

I have some #500 stainless steel mesh (it's very fine and soft like silk until you torch it) that I plan to put a piece over the tube then slide the lock on gasket over it to hold it in place. I may also attempt to make some screens for the stem out of the #500 mesh as well, to prevent any possible plant matter getting through(I like a fine salt & pepper grind.)

Sinclue,

RUDE BOY

Space is the Place
Just Hammered down a couple stems with the pro and in use it pretty much feels just like my old one with the prototype gasket but with no rattle at all. That's a good thing since i really liked the my old one and using it became pretty much second nature, i didn't need it or want it to change much if at all anyhow.

I don't really understand what changed but i likes it still.

Just had my first session with the Hammer Pro (so happy it came today!), and here are my thoughts:

- Silly observation, but it feels more expensive. There's a little bit more weight to it, and everything about it is just... polished.

- It came with some butane in it already (so that's cool), it was ready to use out of the box.

- I get giant rips with this thing, and the flavor is outstanding. I can get coughing on my flowers just the same as I do with my concentrates. Crazy!

- No butane taste at all, and if you hold it in the right place (I hold down and to my right) while it's heating up you won't smell it either. You will smell it a little otherwise...it's not too bad.

- A match made in heaven with the water pipe adapter, this thing is going to be crazy addicting with my glass! The rips can just go and go.

I'm loving it, thanks again for getting it out so fast Hammer crew!

Mine just came today and I wonder if it's defective. I wanted to check that out here before trying to send it back. The problem is that I'm unable to fill it with butane. I have a can that I use with an older vape and it works fine with that. With the Hammer, there is just no response when I press the butane can stem into the fill side. It's hard to see what I might be doing wrong- filling with butane is not a complicated procedure.

These hammers came full. When I got mine I tryed to top it off but it just shot out the sides. What I did was a complete purge then filled it with my butane. It's a very small tank and only takes about 5 seconds to fill up full.

I've noticed my igniter isn't as consistent as my old hammer. Some times it can take upto 10 clicks before the flame ignites. Im gonna try to run it empty, purge and see if its just a little air in the line. If that doesnt help im gonna try contact them to see if I can fix it at home or if it needs sent back. Hoping for the easy fix dont want to be with out the hammer haha.

I definitely think they reinforced the pro it feels alot more solid build and maybe even alittle heavier at the top. Soo far my hammer pro is like reuniting with an old friend who happened to sun burn their legs bright red. Nothing seems too different just alittle more polished as a member mentioned earlier in the thread. Life time warranty is really nice touch. I sold my hammer to a friend for 50, so for 20 bones this was nice and cheap upgrade.

Mine was full too although I didn't realize that and tried to fill it unsuccessfully a couple of times. lol
But then I moved it around looking into the tank and I saw an air bubble moving around so I figured there was already some in there. It took a few clicks to fire up, but has worked since. Certainly did have that WTF? moment when I first tried filling it though.

Thanks for the help. I know this will be very easy once I'm used to it but the hammer is more complicated starting off than the solo or underdog. Maybe it's the minimal instructions. I emptied some of the butane that came in it and was able to add my butane.
Second question is whether there is a blue light on the hammer pro as the video says. I can't see any light.
I'm going to fool around with it later and see if it works even without a visible light.

It does have a learning curve. It's pretty much trial and error finding the right flame setting along with the correct draw speed for your tastes.

There isn't a blue light, but rather you can see the tip of the blue flame if you look from the right angles. This is not an indicator that it's ready, but an indicator that the fuel ignited correctly and the unit is heating up.

If your unit is heating up then the blue flame is visible, you just have to look at the right spot from the correct angles.

Edit
Heating the unit up and drawing through an empty stem is a good way to get a feeling for the various heat settings, also good for seeing how different draw speeds affect the temp as well.

Thanks everyone for your help. I have it working now but it's just not a good fit for me. It's going in my collection of vaporizers that need new homes.

Missed the IG campaign unfortunately. Checked the hammer website and it still refers me to the IG page which is of course expired. Anyone got an idea where I can pick up a Pro?

Hey FC - Just a few quick updates/announcements...

All Hammer PRO orders at the $99 level or lower from the Indiegogo have shipped (save for a few intl that didn't addon shipping). Orders with Custom Stems and/or Bubblers will be shipping in mid-January. Thanks again for everyone's support!

We just made the Hammer PRO available for purchase on the website at http://www.thehammervaporizer.com/products/hammer-pro-vaporizer for the introductory price of $99. I also moved all the Custom Stems that are still available to the first page of the sections, so it's easier to browse them without having to weed through all the sold out ones.

I will be making some additional improvements to the website along with adding some new accessories (bubblers, replacement black gaskets, etc) over the coming weeks. If you have any suggestions on anything you'd like to see added, feel free to chime in.

Hope everyone has an awesome New Years! See you on the other side
