yay, I ordered a PA last night and it shipped out today

I also just ordered my PA.
I was waiting, and sent daily email to the company to ask the status.
Today I was told that there will be no further changes to the Power Adapter, and the unit that is now being sent as the Beta version is the full production model. They also said that they do not know what the official price will be once the PA has been moved over to the website and removed from the above listed Beta page.
I took this as my hint to jump on it today, while it is still listed as beta, but is actually the final version!

The MFLB is a good investment, I love it. I just hope they offer a bundle discount for the PA and the bubbler they'll be distributing. I'm on a tight budget and can't justify getting the PA unless I am 'saving'.

I have a feeling that the PA will be jumping up in cost once it is removed from the Beta page. There may be the chance that even if they offer a package discount on the set, you wont beat the cost of it now.

Just chiming in to say if you're on the fence about the PA, GET IT! Not only does it keep the temperature 100% consistent at home, it will also save you from having to buy a bunch of batteries if you're recharging a lot. Perfect accessory.

What are your guys opinions on vaping hashish in the LB?

In my experience vaping hash in the LB is possible as long as either the hash doesn't melt or you take care to make sure the melted hash evenly mixes with your weed before it touches the screen. Also it seems to be important to stay on top of keeping your screen clean as soon as any dark spots form. When it starts to build up it is very tough to get out. I have already gone through one Launch Box because I was using a mixture of butane hash oil and kief which built up on the screen extremely fast. Lately though I have been filing the trench most of the way with weed, then a dab of oil, and I finish filling it with weed. Sometimes you have to take a very long hit to make sure the oil melts enough to mix it with the weed and for the next few hits it all sticks together so you have to open the box up and stir it instead of shaking it. By doing this I have only seen a few small spots build up on the screen and they were pretty easy to remove.

You just made my night! I have so much kief built up in my sharpstone, but for whatever reason or no reason at all I convinced myself that the MFLB and kief don't mix.

Why? Have you even tried it?

Didn't test for mAh personally, but they have the same 1.3v as the imodien AAs that come with the box.

So 12$ for 4 AAs is a pretty good deal for me, and they've been going strong since I got em. Figured some other LB users may like some decently priced batteries.

I agree, it works as long as you let it work its way into the weed gently, but I stick to my DBV for home use, and i don't feel the need to smoke hash on the go... Then again, I like to drop a scoop of kif on top of the trench of the day just to make things interesting... Load it up, take a toke (or two) to settle the kif in and check the battery then I'm good to go. Thanks again magicflight for an awesome product!

On another note- where would i go to buy a adapter to hook up my bong to my MFLB via whip? I'd imagine the side to the downstem is 18mm, but i wouldn't know the size of the diameter of the tubing for the MFLB. Can anybody help?

But I think MF did say a couple of pages back that they were releasing their own soon.

Wattylers way will work great... You can also use the whip tubing from Blissville as it's stretchy and will stretch around the fitting for the adapter... And it's cheap and ships quickly.

And Tyler, did you see how ssv marked down the water filter/bubbler for the holiday? They took 20 bucks off and I dumbly failed to order it ha... Such is life

So like a lot of other people on here Ive lurked here for a while. Ive read through just about every page of this LONG LOOONNNGGG discussion and have learnt a lot about the MFLB. Great posts and videos! I own a Vaporgenie, Extreme Q, herbalaire, iolite and MFLB. Ive used many other vapes in the past as well. I would like to first say that the MFLB is one of the best vapes Ive ever had or used. I use the vaporgeinie on the go but it suck having to have a lighter all the time and forget driving and using the genie. This is why I was looking for a portable vape that is easy to use on the go. The MFLB is very easy to use while out and about. The herbalaire t and extreme q are great vape for a party and home use but they take some time to get setup and start vaping. With the LB I can get it out and be vaping in less than 2 min much fast then the others and fast then rolling a joint. With the LB I can vape anytime anywhere in any weather and the stealthyness of the LB no one knows what Im up too. This is where the Iolite fails. The hissing and the butanes smell where a big turn off for me to use in a quite setting and the LB is just so much smaller and easier to conceal. People say they can get milkier hits from the iolite or the other vape, but I can get just as milky hits from the MFLB (not that cloudy/milky hits mean better vapour). The quality of flavour that the LB gives is awesome only the Vaporgenie comes close IMO. The MFLB give me a real good high close to how smoking does but vapor high is cleaner and last longer. Im hoping that when I get my PA that this little piece of great engineering will retire all my other vapes.
For those still thinking about getting one... Just do it! But understand there is a little learning curve, and you should read through the vaporpedia. Mostly everything discussed here is on their and great helpful things to know.
Now for some stupid questions. What is Keif? IF it is what I think it is can you vape just keif in the Box. I really want to see more custom water filter setups please? Im going to try a homemade bottle filter when I have more time to melt into the couch after. Any tips on using the PA would be great as well.

trust me it took some time. when i started it was at 292. but i had to see what Magic flight was posting. those are the important posts.

I tried to find an clear answer with search but did not find one. With the PA is the button on the "battery" a click-able button? That is does the button have to be held down to engage power to the LB? Or can the button be "clicked" on and off with one push? I am wondering how much the PA can be control with the dial. Can the dial at the lowest setting, "zero" the temperature?

Does this make sense? I am wanting to know if I could "click" the button on, turn the dial all the way down and not be heating the screen. Then to "start" vaping, all that would be needed is to turn the dial up to the higher temperature. No pressure would need to be maintained to use the PA.

Lowest setting is low, not off (on mine at least). I actually prefer using it not much above minimum anyway (<1/2 power , all the time).

And you have to hold the button. But it's really not hard/stiff, and you have to hold the LB anyway, so..... unless using a bong perhaps? But even then, you can't milk a bong from the LB in one go anyway, as you'd scorch the load- it needs a shake. So not really a 'hands free' vape, even then.

I just bought a second MFLB to use just around the house with my PA. (the new Power Adapter for the LB).
My wife, a non user, has watched me vape for years, and this time, she took interest. She is now interested in an MFLB of her own, to use as we watch T.V., for tobacco, in an effort to smoke less!
She will not try my box (even the new one), as she does not want to chance using any tool that has been used with weed even once.
Looks like I will be going for a 3rd box for Patty!!
