No tree this year...

This year was the first year I was able to cut down my own tree, so maybe you can live vicariously through my excitement!

The Air was a tremendous help in making me chose a larger tree than necessary..... The tree ended up 14ft tall, 9ft diameter (after I cut about 3-4 ft off the bottom)..... go big or go home I guess?

Christmas died many decades ago to me once the greed and commercialism set in. I do miss the week long gathering of family & friends sharing their year past and plans for the next. When laughing and general happiness was THE gift.

I kinda now just eagerly await Jan 3rd.

Because it's the start of a 3 month break until the next commercially hyped gathering time That's if you just ignore valentines day altogether eh
