Ran out of buds for now, but I collected plenty of kief. Been vaping bowls in my Solo, really an enjoyable experience. I find that the Solo especially shines when using kief. Smoking it alone was always wasteful, but I can pack a few nice stems with a measly amount of kief that go for 2 sessions!

This is an old pic , but serves as a reminder for me to start
collecting again . I like to keep my kief strains separate .
For me , the kief sandwich is the Best tasting .

Season's greetings and Happy vaping everyone .

Everything in moderation with the beloved Solo you can build up a THC high tolerance - beware.

You use less product so it's tempting.

EDIT
Cotton is something I use all the time. Either as a screen or for for wrapping hash or wax. Even as a spacer. It keeps things clean too. I learned this on FC. Another vaping household hint.

Im also curious. You can use cotton as a spacer for dry material? How effective is the solo with cotton?

I mean like the unit can handle it? If I wanna smoke lets say 5 sessions in 3 hours?dont wanna over work

5 sessions in three hours is not THAT much for the SOLO. I heard someone with more sessions in a shorter amount of time. Also, how long are your sessions. Back to back?If so,. Be careful, at some point you won't be able to tell how far you've gotten. Until the next day......

edit:Just got my first good hit!!I was wondering there for a minute! Now I know...hehe!I'm stoked i love the whole cotton thing!Do you put a piece to just down the glass stem?

I've used cotton as a screen for the Solo. I've used cotton in other vaporizers as a spacer the Ascent for instance. You can use wet cotton in the mouthpiece tube of the Arizer Air for vaping with a bit of moisture. I used cotton in the Pinnacle Pro as a screen and to help reduce the heat from making the plastic brittle. Many uses for vaping with cotton. Go to the vaping with cotton thread. Sorry if I derailed.:D

Since you put a wheel off the track I will just add a quick comment too.
Biggest advantage of cotton is availability. Rayon wicking has it beat in all other categories. Zero taste and much higher resistance to high temperatures. Taste might be due to the high temperature resistance I figure. This is the current fab with the ecig users.
@CarolKing, with the amount you use, maybe a good investment for a few feet.
OK, more Solo talk.

Knock, knock, knock!! Pound, pound, pound, let me in!! Oh, I'm soaked, and exhausted by the six month hike up this mountain to your castle. But I have brought great news! It's.......oh, nuts, I forgot again. I will go over and sit in the corner to compose myself. Love my two solos, wet or dry, inside or out, hampster or swivel, love my solos.
Thankyou all for the great advice over the past year, and merry merry holiday spirit to all.

Slide your warrant in under the door.........

Howdy, welcome to the Forum. Good call with the Solo, but I guess you already knew that? You're definitely welcome for all the lame advice you can find around here, trying to help the new guys along is a mental aberration 'not uncommon' around here. Lots of helpful folks, just don't loan money to Ataxian.

BTW, if you really want inside, it's easy to find out if you're worthy or not, slip some of your stash through the hole in the door, we'll get back to you.

Daaaang the Solo is better than I expected...honestly did not think any vape would be this efficient. Continuous clouds on level 5 for 2 straight sessions. Whats the max amount of continuous sessions you guys have done. Like auto shutoff and start it right back up..im tempted to do a third

My idea of the auto shutoff time might be off

Is the 12 minutes a recommended session time (give or take, I know 2 is fine)

Or is it just so u dont leave it on for like 8 hours.

Is lets say a 45 minute straight session too much for the the Solo or is this thing as tough as it feels?

As long as we can remember to get back to you... Stash might be too good

Maybe you should leave some here for testing. You never know, it might be better than the stuff Ataxian throws in the trash?

It's a safety, in case you get distracted...... It should be good for as long as you are. If it gets too hot, there's a thermal shutoff inside, but I don't recall anyone hitting it? You can be the first......

Up on a plane & I'm going to a foreign land:smug:

Recieved a solo from some former Minnesotan, and I just got a chance to try it(although I installed an o-ring when I opened the box) I loaded up JoDa gong and threw it on 5, placed a pnwt on top, and why did I sell three solos already?

Say i turn the solo on around 6pm....sometimes around 11pm i have it still on!Just keep starting it up again,I maybe take half hour break! It's a tough unit i think it can take it!i was out at a friends last night ,he had a fire going on out back and i brought my Solo over and gave it the cold test!It was it's first time outside lol virgin!Which I think went great,it was like -4 or 5 out.My friend has a solo too,I got it for him last week,he just loves the thing so does his wife, she just likes the hashish in it!..ha ha.It only had 2 dots lit up battery wise...so it didn't have long but I got me through most of the night.

Sounds like Solo is quite the party animal, despite perhaps being misnamed, "Solo"!

Everything is Merry--except perhaps in Putin-land.

Peace on our blue Marble (we can only hope)!

Wow, never heard of CelluCotton, thanks.

How safe is it to inhale?
