Not sure how I got a lower serial number but I haven't had any issues as well. I had a DOA adapter and what I thought was a vibrate issue but everything has been running accordingly.

How do you guys know that the 500 serial group is specific to US. What is the 200 serial group?

Mine is 288. I'm guessing they made the batches then distributed them to cali from Germany. Who knows if they didn't grab batches of say 500 and start shipping them to Cali distr. Prally, really no way to tell. Interesting non-the-less.

My retailer got back to me yesterday. They said they have received new units where the two issues mine was experiencing are not occurring any more. I am hesitant to pay the return postage on my item until I have heard something from Storz and Bickel confirming that the units have been fixed. I don't want to have to pay return postage again in two weeks if the new units begin to fail.

I finally got a reply from Storz and Bickel who told me that there are known problems with the units and that they are working on a fix. They told me that they would get back to me.

I know what you mean by paying return postage AGAIN. I haven't received my replacement yet (tomorrow maybe),
but I'm very worried that this one will have a hiccup too..... someone over the crafty thread got a bad unit as a replacement !
I don't remember if it was doa or went bad a few days later.......
so, I hope to get a good one, if not I will send it back a few weeks later when they hopefully fixed the issue. (jinx mode off)

My retailer got back to am and told that they would pay for all of the return postage. I am really happy with this response from Australianvaporizers.com.au

Now I am just waiting for Storz and Bickel to let me know whether the replacement units Ausvapes are sending out have in fact been fixed.

Can I just take a moment to stress how great the battery life is on this vape. I have never seen another portable that delivers this much battery life, even in complete garbage portables that don't deliver half the vapor.

I heavily used my Mighty all day with a friend or two present for a few sessions and still have 2/6 icons full on the screen!

I can't possibly express enough how far behind this vape leaves every other battery powered portable I have used in the dust when it comes to this otherwise usually dealbreaking aspect IME!

I just sent my defective unit back. Will report back when I get the replacement.

Still haven't got a reply from Storz and Bickel. They are taking 3 days plus to reply to emails.

That was me my replacement unit went bad the day after I got it but S&B more than made up for it. Not only did they pay for return shipping they sent a new Crafty with the shipping label then when they received the bad unit they sent another Crafty. Yes you read that right I now have 2 working Craftys.:brow:

Oh and the s/n aren't going in order my third Crafty is #1504 and 4th is #429

Wow! That is awesome.

I wish they would do that for me. I am without my unit over Xmas.

fwiw,
the first SN was #my002650 the new one is #my003760

I love the innovation and mods that FCers do with their vaporizers. There are some very creative and intelligent people in this community. But I feel there is no need for water filtration (only my experience-I know some people have medical issues and need it). It honestly feels like I'm inhaling straight air, but when exhaling, a ridiculous amount of vapor comes out of my lungs. It is a BEAST!!!!

What issues are you referring to? I'm about ready to pull the trigger on the mighty, but didn't know there were any particular issues. Most of this thread has been very positive.

There is a known issue with the LCD display not showing the correct battery level. There are also units that cannot be used with the wall charger when the battery is flat as advertised.

Storz and Bickel are currently investigating the issue. Some people have had to send their units back for a replacement. It is unknown at this time whether the replacement units will have the same problem or not as Storz and Bickel will not comment further.

It's an alarming development from a company that previously had a flawless track record while maintaining a high level of consumer confidence. They are taking three days currently to reply to emails also so communication is being stifled.

I've had my Mighty for a month. My first vape was a Plenty I bought a couple of weeks before. The Plenty has pretty much just been sitting on the shelf since I got this. The Plenty is amazing, but this is pretty much just as amazing and not as unwieldy.

In that time I've vaped a lot of material, does the job each and every time. The experience varies with the bud. I've been mostly using some dry old popcorn that was horrible to smoke, it made light work of turning it into lovely tasting vapour! A full bowl of that was about 10-12 good puffs. Since yesterday I've been putting some fresh quick dried bud in that was still on the moist side. I've been using 100c for a few mins to help dry it, then boost it up to 180c and whoa.... nice thick vapour, crank it up to 190c and it's almost like smoke. I was so stoned I lost count of the puffs, 30 maybe? It just seemed to go on and on. When the vapour looked like it was thinning out I maxed it out at 210c and it thickened up again. Felt like I had smoked a whole joint at the end of it, and that's using a third of the bud!

What it does it does awesomely, it's very easy to use, no thinking required and it has kept me well away from joints. I haven't tried any other vape apart from the Plenty, and I don't really feel like I need to. Weeeeelllll VAS and all that maybe a Volcano for sipping as the Mighty is a movie rather than gaming vape, know what I mean?

Problems? Mine doesn't stop blinking when charged, unless I turn it on then off (sometimes) or disconnect the mains then turn on again (sometimes). Also I can't use mine when the battery is completely flat. I only found that out two days ago as I only use it at home and pretty much recharge it after every time I use it. So It looks like mine's going back, it's not really a problem for me but it's important that what I pay for does as advertised! Also cleaning is a bit of a pain, needs to be done at least once every two weeks in my experience. Needs a good soak in ISO and also some deft handiwork with a cotton bud. I don't think the mouthpiece will ever be 100% clean inside.

I would say definitely worth the money, I'm not looking forward to having to send it back as it's very much now a part of my daily routine. Still I have the Plenty to fall back on :)

The wall charger issue wouldn't bother me personally, but yeah, it would be nice to know how much battery power is left. Hopefully, they can resolve that issue. Thanks for the reply

Just wanted to chime in and say I have had no issues with these known problems and have only seen a few people report it. We have a good number of Mighty/Crafty owners here and the problems reported for 1. seem more Crafty oriented and 2. Not that many issues have been reported. I would not be concerned with the quality of the product nor the follow up warrenty service if it is needed.

The Mighty has re introduced me to flowers, it allows me to medicate with flowers instead of oil, and the ease of use for fast extraction with good flavor is so valuable in my arsenal of vapes.

When I unboxed my Mighty the first day I was underwhelmed by the plastic, it was a gut sensation that was going to take some serious performance to overcome. It took me about 5 sessions with the Mighty to get excited, I had a control over temp which allowed me to dial in a strain/pack/grind/humidity level of any particular bowl I packed. The learning curve for this Vape is not about how it works best, instead you find what you like and figure out how to get the Mighty/Crafty to grant your wish, lol.

Absolutely love my volcano and so excited when these were released.

How is it for small loads (0.05-0.1g)? I know you need to use metal insert but would love to hear from owners....

tried my replacement yesterday for the first time.

wow...... how fast it extracts the herb. after the 5th (long) hit,
there was no more vapor (@200C).

I get something more than 8 hits on the solo for the same amount of herb @4.
I also have to agree with someone who posted earlier that every draw was like just warm air (no throat irritation)

these sessions were with water cured bud, will try air cured herb today......
.....draw resistance is almost non existent,
I thought I had the top screwed on wrongly somehow sucking "wrong air" from between the top and bowl...... lol
