So i have a new issue with my v3 top. I had a problem with it the other day where after letting go of the button it stayed on and i had to remove the herc to turn it off. I tried it with a 7.4 kart and the herc and it happened a couple times. It is not something that happens every time, but i was wondering if its something on my end or should i file a ticket and try and send it in?

With the exception of v4 & hammer tops, the persei shouldn't be on unless you're pushing the button. You're best bet is to open a ticket.

Do you think I can use a hammer top to run my hercule with batteries and the Core?
My Persei V2 top seems dead (it only blinks now after to make a "short" noise) and I can see a sort of little bubble in the white plastic of the bottom of my persei top....I'm not sure but I don't remenber it was like that...like melted...
I was in contact with W9 after to open a ticket, they asked what I want to do, I responded them and now I'm waiting...
I thought to purchase a warranty to repar/replace my top since my persei is second hand unit but it will cost a return shipping+warranty (65)+shipping, if I only get a hammer top the cost will be hammer top (40$)+shipping.....what is the better choice for you? Please!

I got my v4 top today and man is this thing sharp. The pin is much wider and creates a cleaner contact for sure fires. The touch button is really nice. You have to get used to the pace to turn it on/off but once you get it, it is nice. Holding the button on the third push starts the hammer top 'continuous on' effect and then another hold on the third tap shuts it off. Some people may have a hard time adjusting to the button because there really is no give on it. It's all touch. I got it pretty quickly and figure almost everyone will.
There is also a metal cap at the top of the top and your hercules sits flush with the cap. The hercules feels more solid attached to the v4 than it did to my v2, there's none of that wiggle. Overall a very nice upgrade and a great customer service experience. I went through the ticket system and it was impressive, lots of communication and a quick turn around.

@THC SCIENTIFIC :: any idea on sr74 coil availability or should i pull the trigger on some 71 coils and make em fit? more importantly, im noticing a hairline crack starting to form on the inner tube of my nibbler xl. I dont know how much time it has left, but im looking for reassurance that they will be back. Idk when the crack started, but the thing has really survived alot...
Also, for anyone that can answer again, do the uptech globe atomizer gr2 replacements fit the ego style globe base as well?

There's no explanation for how much thought I have put into wtf the kiss alpha c is lol. The only thing I can think of other than a dual coil, is something that runs SUPER hot.

Question hopefully someone can answer... I have an 8 and a SR-74x. I had the same issue a lot of people had with the bottom adapter on the Herc not making good contact with the pin on the 8. So I opened a ticket at W9 and they are sending me the SR-71 adapter.
So my question: I would like to use the Herc this weekend as part of holiday festivities. The Herc seems to work fine if attached directly to the 8 without the adapter. Is it ok to use it that way? I recognize I dont have the heat shielding so need to be careful not to get burned, but are there any other reasons not to do this? Seems to me like its similar to using the cartridges and it actually looks pretty nice sitting on top of the 8.

I had a quick observation. Please give me feedback.
I use the ss Persei with kiss ti gr2 globe. I think it is the best tasting cart, because it slowly heats the concentrate. Never tastes burnt. I tried using the 7.4 but made my shatter taste burnt. I think the ti coils get too hot. I think it is for clouds, not taste. It tastes like dr dabber, A little too hot.I think there is the third category, the old cloud pens that burn everything and tastes like burnt metallic.
One observation. The regular kiss are not that good based on the two carts I got. I feel the globe carts are better. With the globe attys, All the ti coils are uniform and cover most of the ceramic core. One of the kiss carts had only 4 wraps of ti coil spaced way too far. It took a lot of heating but was good because it never burned anything. Lastly, the other kiss tigr2 I got , the coils were too concentrated in the center, causing too much heat. It feel like the kiss gr2 were handmade, while the globes were made electronically because of the uniformity, everyone is perfect. Have the kiss gr2 upgraded so all of them look the same and well proportioned.

Ok so you convinced me to buy the globe... ive posted this q before but is the globe heater the same thread as the ego globe atty? I have a friend who wants to replace his but i didnt have any experience with w9 globes to say.

According to the description of the Kiss globe coils on the w9tech site they are compatible with competitors globe style attys.
There is no way for anyone to know for sure until you buy them and try them yourself though, your buddies globe atomizer may use different threads for the coil. There are so many different manufacturers of these type of things out there.
Then, even if the threads are the same, there's no telling if it will make a proper connection until it is tried.

If you are talking about the different globe options on w9tech (Ex 510/ego/ophos/omicron thread globe) then yes the coils are the same.

It's extremely difficult to vape flowers in the Hercules without combusting since they are in direct contact with the ceramic heating rod. A select few have figured out how to use flowers in it without burning but it's really meant for concentrates. One thing that does seem to work according to a few folks is vaping oil and flowers at the same time. I believe you take a small layer of bud and place it on top of the oil. If you're looking solely for a flower attachment, the Bender is the only UP Tech piece designed specifically for herb.

first thing i did with 3.7 herc was dump flowers in it. it 'worked' but cleaning was a bitch and the flavor was fucked from it for a bit... had to torch the rod clean. i tried one other time with flowers on top of one saturated coil and again it worked, but that coil is no longer with us.
