Hi, save me reading over 300 pages is the a 230Volt version for Aussie yet or will I need a step down? Does one need to order a adjustable stem as a option? Are they available yet or is it only back order? Is there a discount code for FC members? Thanks
No, you'll need a step down.
Adjustable stem comes with the unit (but get a back up).
Dunno about availability.
FCLOVE for 10% discount.

Ace of Vape, or Andy, has mentioned that he is awaiting a shipment of new heater cores, so the website may be displaying "pre order", as he is finishing up orders he has parts for.

I think he mentioned that he expects to be back in production mode in January.

I recommend getting two of each glass piece, whether stem or Gong, for backup. That's just my personal opinion. :)

The nano has saved me so much money over the last few months. Its so damn efficient.
Dealers and Dispensary Owners hate him.

It has taken about six weeks, but now that I have my E-Nano tecnique and routine perfected, I am using about 1/3 of the material I was with a Firefly. And I am enjoying significantly improved quality and quantity of medical benefits. Since my back surgery, literally nothing has helped me more than this little wooden can. I had to buy a second one simply because my health cannot risk not having a functioning device.

I keep telling myself that I need to go to the dispensary today, but then I realize I can make it through the day and go tomorrow if I supplement with a little bit of homegrown. That goes one for a few days before I actually go and resupply. I can vape with this thing and have a hard time going through much more than a half a gram a day.

Funny I was at 2 grams a day!
.5 per day since the NANÒ!
Medical reasons.

second evening sesh with the nano last night. I couldnt be more happier with this vape.

the wong included is a wicked little one hit wonder. I believe its one of ed's, ive got a question is it best left as it is or can the screen be adjusted for a big load?
this wont matter as much once my reducer has arrived so I can use the adjust gong.

Im using my honeycomb stem with an upside down basket screen to make a one hit two hit stem (which impresses me with how little you can use and get clouds wow) and im using the adjust stem for bigger loads.

question I have is there a maximum amount you can put in the adjust stem?

Ive been letting the nano heat up to 10 from cold then turning it back to 5.5 take a hit and then bumping to 6.5 and 7.
seems like the clouds are endless haha.

how do other people go through their dry stem routine?

what temp do you start and finish at when youre using nano with WP?

I LOVE THIS VAPE, why didnt I find this at the beginning lol rather wasting time with other vapes.

@*plainlazy* Well, I'll answer the questions I can and someone else can fill in the blanks.

I've packed up to a 1cm tall pellet of ground mmj into a stem when I'm in more pain and don't want to have to move much to get more hits. For big loads, try to keep it loose so that air flow is not severely restricted. You risk charring the top layer if all the air is somehow diverted through a narrow channel. Lots of stirring between puffs helps.

I leave mine on 24/7, with it idling at around 5. When I start to pack, i bump up to six and then it usually stays between 6.5 and 7 if using a dry stem. Ed's stems with the metal tip seem to require me to bump the temp up a little bit. Maybe this is to account for a bit of heat soak through the metal?

Also, when using a water pipe, I also bump the temp up a little. Often, I just start at 7 or just under and leave it there.

But all of the temperature adjustments change depending on the material I'm using. Some of the really amazing competition grade stuff is amazing for doing the 5.5,6.0.6.5 slow step method. But my homegrown outdoor Bubba Kush which tastes and medicates beautifully gives me just one great tasting hit at 6.5 and then it goes flat.

thanks chippy malone for some really useful info and tips.

so really with the adjust stem you can pack big loads as long as there is space between load and heater element and its loose not tight. cool. I think I packed one load a bit tight last night bit luckily didnt char or combust. just draw resistance was restricted.

I find stirring with the epic alot easily than I thought I would. I was expecting material to ping out every where but using the longer leg on the epic to turn the material really isnt an issue.

I havnt left mine on 24/7 and probably wont as im an weekday evening and weekend afternoon/evening vaper, so have it on for all of the evening idling at 5.5.

seems like we both bump temp at the same rate with the dry stem which is good. unsure I could handle setting 8 on the dry stem.

at the moment im rating the stem over the wong, but is likely to change once I can get the adjust gong going.

glad im barking up the right tree with setting and temps.

I think ill next report back after ive got my reducer so I can try the adjust gong.

@*plainlazy* I made a really great in-stem grinder tool using my pocket knife to carve the not-pointy end of a chopstick to create a bamboo "screwdriver" or paddle that really moves and breaks down the material in the stem with just a few twists. Then I tamp the top layer down lightly so it is flat and take another hit. If I am lazy, I can even toss in a whole piece of bud. Once it is crispy from the first hit, my grinder paddle turns it into finely ground bits for the second hit.

The time experimenting with the other vapes, I didn't mind wasting near as much as the $$$$!!!

how do other people go through their dry stem routine?

My dry stem routine is at 5.75 through a JoDa steamroller. I usually pack a nug, and take a long sip for amazing flavor. Stir and break up bud with the e-pik. My second hit is also a long sip while carbing to regulate vapor intake for a "perfect" (punch ya in the noggin) hit. Stir and finish pulverizing with e-pik. My third hit is almost that perfect hit again depending on nug size. I'm really digging the steamroller over the stems, because I can actually see the vapor, and (most critical) the ability to carb. The nano is the only vape in my collection that gives scary size hits that need to be carbed. Because of this I also prefer JoDa's carbed gongs for my 6.5 temp WP sessions before bedtime.

question I have is there a maximum amount you can put in the adjust stem?

I've experimented with this quite a bit, and I prefer the 2-3 hits/bowl, and as many as needed at the time. I rarely pack a second bowl, but if I do, it's still less product then 1 bowl in my other desktop vape, and I'm WAY more medicated!
One of the MANY beauties of this beast is the epic vapor it produces on just a smidge of material. This allows the user to regulate their hi, and not get over medicated by simply finishing an oversized bowl.

Edit: I never dry my product, due to flavor loss.
Glad you're enjoying and have discovered the epic vape that is E-Nano!

It just kills me to watch someone spend $50 twice, then $100 twice, then $150, and then finally spend the money they should have in the first place. There's just no reason for anybody to have to spend $600 just to end up with the $200 device they should have bought in the first place.

These days, only my Firefly and my E-Nano will do, and to be honest, I should probably move the Firefly to the bathroom where it might get some use. . . . .

mr chippy malone a pic of the paddle chop stick if you can. sounds good.

I liked the pic I stumbled upon where a space case grinder had been stuck to the bottom of e nano.
also all the other custom options available for this vape. j hooks and 7th floor looking stems etc.

havnt tried whole nugs yet I think I will be over the next couple of evenings.

Haha I've done the exact same thing with my handy chopstick. I actually used the sharp end and whittled it down to a little scoop/paddle shape that I can also use to scoop kief if I so require.

One of the vapourizers I've got included a delightful little wooden tool that I use constantly. I got so fond of it I wanted to get a backup, but I could not recall which company made me so happy. I searched until I finally discovered what it is. It's a bamboo ear pick:

My original didn't come with the little doll head, which is not glued on and so is easily removed. That's a good thing because I use that end as well. You can get a pack of 16 of these on Amazon for $5.67 (free shipping). I swear that I once found someone selling these for about $4 for a pack of 100 without the doll heads, but when I wanted to buy them I couldn't find that offer again. At any rate, I now have plenty of backups.

A pair of disposable chopsticks should almost be included with the E-Nano kit, especially considering that a standard adjustable stem requires something longer than the provided E-pick to adjust the screen height. The next time I'm in an Asian market, I'm going to check for some nice hardwood ones that look like good candidates for carving into a custom tool. I'm thinking that a measuring notch could be added to the side of the paddle/scoop/blade.

P.S. And since I'm suggesting you visit Asian markets, I highly suggest you spend three bucks and buy a set of those really awesome Asian style deep dish plastic soup spoons. Once you've eaten your cereal with one, you will never want to eat with a Western style spoon again. Unless it's ice cream: shallow metal spoons and ice cream are perfect together.

Edit: @pakalolo well gosh! That ear pick sure kicks my modified chopstick to the curb! Ha! Love it! Nonetheless, go get those spoons everyone!

@pakalolo I'm thinking you may have gotten that with a Vapir product... I got mine with the NO2.

Thank you. Thank you, Thank you! I've wanted more of those FOREVER!

You're right on the money with that. The NO2 came with two and they worked outstanding.

They're just bamboo ear picks/scrapers. Metal ones are easy to find as well.

I'll stick with cotton swabs for cleaning my ears...

OK disagree with me, I can't force you to be right

A simple pencil works well too. The eraser end fits nicely into the screen to move it up or down.

Just be careful. I learned the hard way not to use a plastic dental tool, the GonG started to melt it, lol. Now I'm afraid to try anything but metal, wood, or glass.

Personally I use bamboo skewers. They are cheap (100 for ~$2) and easy to find, available at any grocery store. Flat on one end for shoving the screen, pointy at the other end for stirring your load. Long enough to fit through the longest Stems and can be cut down to smaller Skewers. When they get dull or dirty, they can easily be sharpened/cleaned with some sandpaper.

One of my favorite tools with the nano is a "golf" pencil. You know, the little short ones. Usually wherever you find one (golf course, mini golf, next to comment cards) there will be a full stack of them. I just grabbed a few every time I saw them for a few months and now probably have a lifetime supply.

No eraser to worry about, and while they're compact, they are plenty long enough to push a GonG screen up from the bottom. It's my go to tool for moving the screen and giving loads a light tamp. I break the points off, but still used to worry about the graphite on the flat end. Don't think it is a problem (or at least hope not!). It doesn't leave a mark, even when moving a clean screen around. One of these days I'll remember to pick up a wood dowel of about the same size at the hardware store. Then can "paddle-ize" the other end with a bit of carving. And, have been thinking lately it would be really cool to have one made of stone.

If anyone likes the bigger loads, definitely have at it. But, IME the best way to go is more smaller loads rather than a bigger load or two. After literally hundreds (probably more like thousands by now) of loads, it seems best for effect and efficiency, and is unquestionably the best for flavor. It does take just a bit more work, but what else are you gonna do while sitting there getting stoned?

I've also come to the point where I think turning up the heat every few hits is pretty much pointless. If going for heavier effects, I like to just start at a higher temp. If taking it light, keep the heat low and try not to destroy the whole load. Just take a few hits, dump and reload. Save the less used loads to mix half/half with fresh later at higher temps.

Compared to my EQ and other vapes, I use about 1/4 the amount of material with the nano - if that, and would swear I get even higher. This is the thing that kills me the most about the solo I use when away from A/C. I've become so miserly with the nano that I feel like I'm wasting my stash! So most of the time I can get away with it, I get a good buzz going with the nano at home and try to use the solo to maintain my buzz while out.

It's kind of funny how now I consume less than nearly everyone in my "buying collective", even though I'm probably more stoned much more often. Being in a non-medical state a few of us usually try to get together to buy more and split it up. I used to be the one trying to get everyone together for the next purchase. But, for the past year or so everybody is usually asking me if I'm ready yet, and wondering if I'm picking up some on the side!

The world would be a better place with a portable nano in it!

This seems to be my only gripe about the nano, it has spoiled me, to the point I rarely take a portable with me. Which is strange because it used to be a security blanket of sorts. Never used to leave home without it or my water bottle. Now I'm not sure if my solo is jealous of the water bottle or my nano!

I hope Andy @ACE OF VAPE is secretly working on sticking a battery on his epic masterpiece!
