I need to find a Vaporizer that Works

Status
Not open for further replies.
A vaporizer that works for me and my needs which is portable. I can't smoke anymore it is destroying my lungs. I bought a vaporizer and it does not work for me or fit my needs. I do not want to waste any more money so I want to make sure I don't make another mistake. I would like to hear peoples experiences with various vaporizers. I want to vaporize but do not have any friends that do it and I can't try anything out so I have to go solely on reviews and ratings and peoples suggestions. I need something portable that I can take into the boonies with me.

1flyfisher,
What's your price range? That would narrow your choices
Hi,
Well considering I just wasted (and not in the good way) over $250 on a vaporizer and batteries and chargers etc I am not eager to blow a bunch more. I am still bummed about that experience but I want to vape, I want a cleaner high if it is possible, I imagine it can work if you can find a good vaporizer. Low budget. $100-125 but it has to work I don't want to get stuck with another vaporizer. I am not into buying these things and collecting them like I see people on here like to do. I just want to get high.

Since I seem to remember that you don't like to have to recharge Batteries @1flyfisher. I'd suggest picking up either a Hammer vaporizer or a Vapman. Both are great for going off grid.

The lotus, Vapor genie or Iolite/wispr 2 would all work well for you too.
DO you own any of these? I will look them up thanks. I looked at one that looks like a flying saucer from the 50's that you light with a lighter. I like that idea if it works.

DO any of these vaporizers have a refund policy if they don't work or is this vaporizing all a crap shoot. I really can't deal with another failed vaporizer that doesn't work as advertised. I'm still trying to deal with the fact that I hate the vaporizer I bought and wasted $250+. For me that's a lot of medicine down the drain.

Yes, I have all but an original Iolite(given away) and have a wispr not a wispr2.

The Vapman with a vapman torch is one of my favorite vapes these days, mine gets used 4-5 times a day at least even though i own a few dozen vapes. I've kinda gotten over waiting for things to charge, at least for now. If i can plug in i use my Underdog otherwise i use my vapman.

If sharing with a few people of late I'll use the Daisy by triihouse, another torch powered vape that's killer though it's a little large to take boating and fishing i would think.

Edit: @1flyfisher the only satisfaction or money back guarantee is with the Daisy (14 days) Otherwise you just have to do your homework and hope you've got it right when you buy.

Still one of the cheapest and biggest hitters I own is the first vape I owned, the Vapor genie.
With a torch lighter it's still pretty Bad Ass and hard to beat.

I haven't tried one, but I would recommend that @1flyfisher check out the daisy thread. It's a simple flame-powered heavy hitter that's relatively affordable, and should satisfy your needs quite well, reportedly.

Vaporgenie and vapman I will look at those thanks.
If you have links to products please leave the links.
That daisy thing is too big.
I looked at the vapman it looks interesting. DOes it work or is it another gadget that doesn't work.

You never mentioned a size requirement. The vapman would be for small efficient hits, the daisy would be more for for big lungbusters. So you need to define your preference in this respect as well.

portable....something I can take with me. That daisy is about the size of a bong. I don't think it would look too good in my pants pocket.
Pretty much portable being replacing a pipe in my pocket with something the size of a pipe.

pretty much if it works I will be happy. The last vaporizer I had it fell apart and just was a complete pain in the ass to work. I want something that works I don't care about blasting smoke signals. If it works and isn't a pain in the ass I will be happy.

it's still too big and it's not very portable.

Also another requirement is I don't want it to break after a few months or a few days as in the case of my last vaporizer.

:freak: It may be as the GH5, but I don't think so.

SO this daisy kicks ass? That looks nice for the house.

Check out the last 20-30 pages of the vapman thread in the portable section here on FC.

There is no gadgetry (moving parts or electricity) involved. And It flat out works.

Seems so simple an idea you know "heat up a bowl to make vapor using a torch". But only A Few vapes around now do do it well imho but the vapman excels(just how i feel about it). I like the no gadget no gimmick use of Torch/lighter based vapes.

I still love my Underdogs, epicvape and vapo 2 too but their all pretty basic vapes that perform just Great without all the bells and whistles.

right now for me at least, simple is better.

If you strictly are looking to get high, this is your tool.

I was going to elaborate on it over in the Triihouse Daisy discussion, but I can't edit my last post and don't want to back-to-back post.

I've got several VGs, Al. Stem/ J-hook Lotus', and a VM. Out of all of them, the Daisy is the only one that punches me in the face...hard. I hate to say it, but the others seem downright tame.

If you bump the last post of the Daisy discussion I can add a little more insight.

It's a very interesting vaporizor....

You can't go wrong with a Vapor Genie. Relatively easy to use and absolutely simple. It's a great pocket vape, is durabl, reasonably stealthy and as effective as you can make it be without combusting. I prefer these when out and about or in the woods. It's the closest thing you'll find to looking like a tobacco pipe if you go with the HC.

The Lotus and the Vapman are the two most refined of my tool box. I could go on and on about them, but these are not the droids you are looking for.

Don't give up on vaping. I was disappointed by the poor performance of a MFLB that I had started with. Turns out it was a well crafted counterfeit and didn't work for shit. And I thought vaping just sucked. Glad I gave it a second chance.

I believe a lot of people, me included, persevered over an initial unsatisfactory experience with vaporizers that were poor, or maybe we just didn't use them right. Possibly that's the reason for this forum, to help others learn from our mistakes.

I absolutely LOVE the Vapman!

May I ask what vape you spent that amount on, and what went wrong with it/weren't to your liking?

Yeah, I wish I had run across this forum before I had jumped in. But there's something cool about striking out into your complete unknown too...but then some of us have slightly less success than others using this method.

I'll bump it, I'm excited to hear more of your impressions

Request granted.
