MiniVAP Vaporizer

Does anyone know the dimensions of the W9 Tech Nibbler G water tool? Specifically the bottom part? I've can't seem to specifics on it anywhere.

Could there be a way to attach one to a Minivap? If the cut flexicone and Lotus WTA combo @kimura uses (he uses his with a J hook) is the right size, it might fit in to a Nibbler quite nicely.

Thoughts?

ok, so breathing is not the problem for @jivebuggered . I like to make my first hit a short pump kind of hit, like all I'm trying to do is pull some hot air into the system. Then wait a few seconds and go at it. Because this vape does such a great job of keeping the heat from our herbs between hits, it can take that little bit of priming the pump to get the heat in there on the first hit.

One of these days I am going to make a video of my favorite method right now. I use my glass mouthpiece and give it a good hit while holding the vape sideways so I can see the glass air path. As soon as I stop my draw a little plume of vapor shoots into the stem and does a little dance while it waits for me to draw again. It's mesmerizing once the buzz gets going!

Do you get thick clouds with yours? Do you think something might be faulty with mine and if so how do i tell? As mentioned earlier I dont get "dense" clouds (effect yes) on fair ones. I gave away using the small basket only got about one fair pull on that one. If I use the larger basket I would get three or four ok clouds but nothing real thick not even to match the Solo and the material would be completely spent. Is this normal? Off track for a second how would you compare the VXL Evolution? Would you still put it as number one? For what reason? Not suitable for me right knowing what you know? Looks like you would have to "prime" a bit as I would say either with dry or hydro looking at the volume of the WT/dry tube?

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I really want to enjoy vaping with this thing too. Idk, I just feel like my Mighty was a better purchase even though I paid a few extra bucks for it. I was planning on using them equally, but so far I have been exclusively using my Mighty.

I think I might have cracked it!! I found a straight glass stem with one end to fit a 14mm water pipe . It was a leftover from a Di Vinci Ascent that was to be used for water attachments. I slipped the flexicone+ tube into the glass stem it was a perfect fit and then I suck on the ground glass end (sort of like a mouthpiece) It cooled vapor right down and if I wanted I can just attach the Pinnacle WT but found the plain vapor better for me. This time after setting on red +5 mins I was able to pull three or four very good clouds and was quite smashed after. Thanks for "helping me find the way" guys (is that a quote from some movie?) in particular MinnBobber and yourself. It can only get better .Still hanging for a export Herbie though.

Incredible! Exactly what I had in mind. Thanks for scribbling down the dimensions, too. Much appreciated.

How does that setup work for you? It's an expensive piece of glass - is it worth it?

Yeah, you fill them with water. These little water tools are 'anti-spill' so it shouldn't leak water when it's on its side.

It should cool the vapor down, as well as adding some moisture to it making it less dry on the throat.

Yes--there had to be a way where the "awesomeness" of the miniVAP came thru for you!! Keep trying other variations as I still discover new ways/techniques to mix it up.

not sure why your lines are crossed out but what you are saying is exactly right, it`s those first "priming" hits that annoy me and is a real turn off for any visitors especially new to vaping.
Whoops, I didn't mean to cross that part out. I was more backtracking on my suggestion the priming requirement is inherent to convection vaping.

Out of curiosity, are you using the large or small basket? I've noticed I have to heat up the unit longer to get vapor on my first hit using the larger basket. And even then, the initial hit isn't as robust as with the small basket.

The large basket I found I didn`t get much out of a small one. I have been racking my brain and will be checking all options to see if I can be (the first maybe??) to get some air pumping through it that`s right just like the Herbie LOL Finding the right sort with decent health aspects is going to be hard.

I have never seen vapor this purely blue from any other device:

It's wonderful. but I think it has caused me some confusion when I was learning how to use the device because the vapor can be pretty hard to see in certain light.

perhaps the color of this vapor may also be related to the quality of excellent flavor and effects delivered by the MV? I don't know, I just know my other vapes produce a more opaque and white vapor. they start blue but then they milk up and turn white and thick. it doesn't look the same, in a qualitative sense

I could just be heavily MV'd right now

I have a brand new silver Minivap in the case logic bag under my bed. Can't use it for two weeks. Sad guy.

Reason. Family is in town and kids will be in the house and I'll just hit my Persei in my car

I have a solution: send me your silver miniVAP. I will use a y-joint to combine it with my black one @Roger D style, and post the vid on FC. problem solved.

Can anyone tell me the name of the water tool in this vid, it looks great.

The large basket I found I didn't get as much out of as compared with the small one.

I have been using the large basket more and more. The key, for any size basket for that matter, is not to over pack the load in said basket. Instead just fill it with minimal compaction. This vape, typical of convection vaporizers, supplies heat on demand by us the user through the process of inhalation to draw the heat to and through the load. Packing the load too tight in the basket is counterproductive in my opinion.

So, I'm considering a few accessories. The "puck" (miniVAP adaptor) among them. Am I correct in assuming that this works with the same power cable that attaches to the battery charger?

That is correct. The AC puck plugs into the same power cord that mates with the charging deck.

FYI-- I did not use my puck for quite some time, thought it unnecessary with that huge battery life BUT
I'm changing my mind. With the battery unit I wandered the house and deck and it was great.
Now that it's 10 F out and sometimes snow---my wandering has stopped.
I sit at my vape station with the AC puck miniVAP and also tend to use my bubbler more when in one place.

And the verdict---damn but this is one fine desktop vape. It is smaller and lighter with the puck.
And that miniVAP flavor....
