I just got some strawberry cough wax and when i dab it it tastes like nothing I've ever had before. I'm sure I've gone through some butane-y wax before but this is entirely different. It doesn't taste good or bad it just tastes very weird...which I guess is kinda bad :/ Is there anyone that thinks they can help with out with this?

I am who I am and your approval isn't needed!
Sorry, but it is impossible to 'guess' at somethings taste from a distance... especially from a concentrate. Everyone's taste perception is different, there are too many growing, curing, and processing methods to even guess at it. Even harder without a pic (not that it would really help anyways).

Best bet is... know your supplier, have one who will address your concerns directly, or make it yourself.

Wish I (we) cld me more help

Does a plastic taste give any hints?

Ceramic is my favorite nail in comparison with quartz or titanium. I usually give it 40 seconds to cool down from getting red hot. Ceramic definitely holds heat longer than any other nail.

Definitely agree with the heat holding ability- my first few dabs on my Hive were pretty badly overheated. Also I've read it's not recommended to heat ceramic to red-hot- Hive says that can reduce lifespan.

Yeah I've heard that also. Usually when I see it slightly turn red is when I would consider it done.
