This thing does take forever to charge! I have never run it down past half battery though and being able to be used while plugged in is sweet. It does seem to actually keep charging while you use it plugged in too!

This vape is perfect for replacing joints. You take a light toke like you would on a joint full of great material and you get a huge mouthful of no resistance vapor similar to what you would get in smoke by doing the same on a j.

I have used the Mighty in various public places, it is seriously not a big vape really, completely pocketable and noone is gonna notice what it is unless they notice you exhale or smell the herb. You can hold it in such a way that the screen is not visible and people could just as easily think it is a small drink flask.

I never thought I'd have a vape that actually worked as a portable for me, I'm still astounded by this.

The weird smell is gone now too, I am not super concerned as it was not in the airpath, I actually realized when I got the funky smell I had not run the heater dry to clean out any dust/manufacturing stuff. After a good clean, it tastes great and no smell of plastic funk.

This is definitely like my sub insofar as if you want it to keep tasting great you need to clean this thing frequently and thoroughly! I am very confident with taking apart the unit though, which is quite easy. Also, the plastic they have used here somehow manages not to taste like plastic. This is the first vape where I have found this to be the case!

My only issue with this device is that no GonG adapter was provided, this is a glaring oversight for a unit with this much cloud potential!

Hopefully we can get something made for this purpose, either that connects direcly onto the heater or into the mouthpiece hole on the cooling unit (with stock mouthpiece removed). I don't think that a permanent GonG solution will be ideal if it connects at the angle that the mouthpiece usually sits!

Mighty owners, do the batteries hold enough of a charge to get you through the day?

Obviously usage will vary. I currently run through about a 1/2 gram a day with the Alfa (battery low after 2 packs) and mflb.

They didn't send you a new unit when you had to send yours back? I thought that's what they've done with just about everybody who's had an issue so far.

Hope you get it resolved quickly. Might try giving them a call to see what the deal is, that doesn't sound normal for S&B.

Good luck, being Crafty/Mighty-less is no good!

I totally agree with you. It is one efficient machine. I feel that the vapor is so smooth that no water is needed.

This thing is amazing. a couple of minutes to get to temp, a couple of minutes to finish a bowl.
I had a session with it the other day, when the load was spent I emptied it out, crushed it up and loaded it into an ELB. Cloud preheated to max for 20 minutes, not even a whisper of vapour was left in it.
A portable vape that provides quick and easy full extraction and has enough battery power to last more than a full days use, what more could anyone else ask for?

I read this as well, but that was S&B-USA....
I'm in Europe, and I had to send it to S&B HQ in Germany. it's only 3000 km (1800 miles) away ....does this suck or what....

now the good part. I got an email with a ups tracking number and a note I 'm getting a replacement......

Ah, I mistakenly assumed you were in the US. My bad! Glad you have your Mighty on the way back to you though :)

Surprised that they don't have the same policy in the EU though. Wonder why.

Good Afternoon! One point I would like to share about the mighty, is that it is IMPERATIVE to keep the cooling unit clean. At least every few weeks of heavy usage. Disassemble it, soak in warm water/soapy mix, and use q-tips dipped in alcohol for thorough cleaning. I would also clean the cooling unit before first usage as well. I'm sure you all do this, I just wanted to reiterate it..

Also, don't forget to change both screens. I'm going to order more today! It seems the key to owning any type of vaporization device is to always do your maintenance. I am a tinker so I actually enjoy that part..lol. A clean cooling unit, full battery and some nice bud makes for an excellent evening...

Hi Guys. I am new here. This is a great harm reduction forum and I am going to start contributing rather than lurking.

I bought my Mighty a couple of weeks ago and am experiencing problems now. The unit has been used eight times without a problem but on Thursday night it started turning itself off. The unit was at half charge and suddenly went black and I was unable to turn it back on.

I plugged the unit in and the oven's actual heat display showed in yellow but would not increase in heat in any way. After an hour on charge we left the unit overnight. The next morning it was fine and working properly.

I am concerned that the unit shut itself down prematurely and then was unable to heat for a significant period of time. I chose the Mighty over the Crafty specifically for the ability to be able to use the unit whist plugged in and am just wondering if anyone else is having these problems?

I contacted the retailer australianvaporizers.com.au and will let you guys now what they say.

I still can't believe how medicated I get with these S&B portables!!! The effects are fantastic!!! I have not gotten medicated from flowers like this for years. Dare I say I like Mighty/Crafty more than my EVO? I do. Things are changing. Never in my life did I dream I would become a Storz & Bickel bitch . . . ;)

Dare I say I like Mighty/Crafty more than my EVO? I do.

Curious about this. What do you like better about the Crafty then the EVO? Assuming portability doesn't come into play.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my Crafty. It does things that I didn't think a portable could do. But if comparing side by side with the EVO (unfair, I know. Desktop vs. Portable), I'd have to pick my EVO just about every time.

If I give my EVO a 9.5 on cloud production and flavor, I'd probably give my Crafty a 9 on cloud production, and an 8.5 on flavor. The cloud production is nearly on par with the EVO, and I think that once I get @Ratchett's SonG adapter and run it through water, it might equal it. And not that the flavor is bad on the Crafty by any means, I just think the EVO is a little better. I can taste more nuances in the flavor with the EVO, especially the first two hits.

All that said, I wouldn't want to be without my Crafty. I spend close to half my time away from home, so I need something I can take with me.

The Crafty/Mighty truly do redefine what a portable is capable of. Anyone in need of a portable that can knock you on your ass (if desired), look no further.

I agree but I'm from Europe and still waiting on two replacement evo's. I prefer it because I'm not worried it's going to stop working. Or if it does it won't take over a year to fix.
I loved the evo when it worked. But would recommend mighty over evo for reliability. And customer service

I agree with most of what you said although the Mighty produces clouds that rival, and may surpass, EVO IMHO. For me its coming down to hit density and effects. Crafty/Mighty simply get me more medicated with flowers. I thought it was the water filtration so I started hitting EVO dry and still, I like the effects of Crafty/Mighty better. Maybe its because I have been medicating with Cloud/EVO everyday for years, I dunno. One thing I do know is that Mighty clouds are at least as big and dense as EVOs, maybe more, and I have not been this medicated with only flowers for a very, very long time.

I have been experiencing something strange. When I received my mighty, it was working fine. Now, If I set my mighty to 365f, it will get to 364f and never get to the point it vibrates. It will hang out at 363f-365f but never vibrate. Since it will keep dancing at those numbers, I start vaping. The same thing will happen if I choose 375, 385, or 395. But that is only when it is warming up.

After my first temperature, I will never experience this during the session. It only happens during warm-up when I start my session. Has anyone experienced this? I also get leaking vapor during the session so I just plug the mouthpiece with my thumb. Anyone experience this?

BTW, I love my mighty.

Hi all !

I am very interested in new S&B portable vapo. I did not know what to chose between Crafty and Mighty.

After reading Crafty and Mighty threads, I choose ... Mighty !

Why ?

Battery is principal issue with Crafty and I find power bank drop stealthy, drop portability and rise weight; using Mighty seems easier IMO.

Less risk of issue with Mighty than Crafty which need Crafty app, bluetooth and phone.

The Mighty hits are a slight bit smoother/cooler and it's important for me.

Mighty size is not an issue IMO, it's like a smartphone size, a little more depth than IPhone, yes, but less than Crafty ! ;)

The only thing which slow down my wish to get a Mighty soon, is :

One is, do you really want to be an early adopter? Typically, there is a price to pay for that in the form of getting a product that is untested in the marketplace and as such, you may experience a higher defective rate that you would with a mature product. And two, you may want to wait another couple of weeks for more reviews to come in as well keeping an eye out for those defective units that are bound to show up and a few already have.

Thanks for this wise thought.

Trying to wait a little...

PS : I made a kind of faq with Crafty and Mighty threads, I don't know if I am allowed to publish it in this thread, if someone want to get it, PM.

It was hard to wait for me. VAS. Of course, improvements will be made. But it is still the best portable (have yet to use my minivap with the family in town for the holidays) on the market today.

By the time you feel comfortable with the mighty, something new and better will be around. If you don't have disposable income, I feel you. I would probably wait a little longer. I am extremely pleased with mine. The filling tool is the greatest invention. No wasted herbs and so easy for portable use.

I have been experiencing this as well the last week or so. I notice it most when the battery gets to mid level and lower, my work around is to set the temp a few degrees hotter then I want and turn down to get that satisfying vibrate.
