For those on the east coast, how long does it usually take for you to get your pieces from Kathy?

I not sure if this helps anyone, but when checking out some new glass from a new vendor or not, look to see if it shows their number in stock. If it does not show anything than I always assume they don't have them yet. Plus in the past I always have gotten orders much quicker, even from some vendors that have been problematic to some, when I see that they have so many in stock. May seem like common sense to some but maybe other have not noticed this.

I bought the Maarte version. Pretty sure they're identical as mine has the roor logos and the mouthpiece is also kinda bent to one side which I have seen people talking about. Kinda has a bit of an indentation mid way up the can near the support weld. I weighed trying to get a partial refund but ultimately decided I didn't care that much about 10 bucks or whatever and it was still a sweet piece.
With everyone talking about orders not being shipped right away it reminds me of ordering my gb-186 from Maarte. It stayed in processing for around 10 days and I was getting super antsy, but when it was finally marked as shipped, the tracking showed it had actually been shipped a couple of days after I ordered and was already in Canada. I got the piece like a day or two later. I was so certain I would never ever order from Maarte again, but seeing that it was actually shipped fast changed my mind.
This is a good rule when multiple vendors have the same piece, but I think a lot of the time even if it doesn't list the amount in stock it is probably still in stock. I just doubt that a lot of these vendors have amazing inventory management/could be bothered to record the number in stock. It probably wouldn't be that much of a hassle to do if you're only selling on DHGate, but if you are selling to a bunch of sources your info could easily become outdated and it is less of a hassle to just not bother. Really the main time you should worry that a piece might be out of stock is if it was just listed.

@weenstoned Yea, that's true. There are a lot of vendors that have one pic up that is clearly not their actual production piece but piece they intend to copy. They never have any in stock. Those are the ones that make me nervous because you see pic of a sick piece and finally when it you get you realize it just kinda resembles the pic you looked at. So I suppose it's not a rule of the thumb but something to consider when purchasing.

I searched this thread for some feedback on Maarte before I ordered. After reading @weenstoned's post from October I felt comfortable ordering it. I will review it in the other dhgate thread when it arrives.

Just a heads up but as of now be careful about ordering from seller RadiantGlass I ordered the mothership knockoff over 30 days ago with a seller will deliver within 20 days. At 20 days I got a tracking # that is fake and now the seller will not answer me
Strange, I bought a tiny igloo piece from RadiantGlass last month and it was shipped in time, with a valid tracking number. Build quality was sufficient, overall a decent piece for the price.

This is an item from one of your more respected stores, but the sales are low. Do you think ordering that along with a Kathy recycler or two would he alright? I've bought basic dry pipes in bulk from alibaba in the past but I was just a silly teen with a visa giftcard then. lol if you don't mind I'll show you the other two I'm going to order from Kathy as well for any input.

Sales are low on that piece because it was only recently added to his store (within the past week or so). I don't believe anyone has received theirs yet to comment on the build quality or performance.
Unless you're willing to take a gamble on a piece, I suggest sticking with items mentioned on this thread (and the DHGate glass review thread) which people have actually received and tested.

hey, before i knew about this thread, i ordered a piece from radiantglass @ like 4pm EST on dec. 3. i got a tracking number and there are a few lines on the tracking info about "despatch" & "arrival" at a few places in china. but on dec. 6th, there was a "despatch from sorting center" @ hangzhou and no word since then...this is my first purchase directly from china, does anyone know when i should start looking out for it? i would hate to have someone else open this mail for me...

Man this looks really promising for people in need of a cup style rig- reason being the perc being placed correctly as opposed to many other cups, and the turbine seems placed well also, with a bent neck it seems like glory for those still in need. (I'm kind of already set with the starbud/double barrel/larger d020 style bubbler by an american glass company (could post pics on concept thread if people want ideas, it's function is great it's like a circ to turbine w/ removable mouthpiece), the maker's name escapes me right now as I'm kind of lifted. [on that note: first time trying the verdamper, solid vape for those considering, although I still would take a log vape over one unless you have a strict all glass policy]
