Okay so I want to make it very very clear to admins i'm not selling this glass here..
I'd just like to know honestly what you guys think the value of this piece would be because I honestly have no idea.

So I won this custom vertigo in a vapexhale competition quite a while back, it's a piece from stonemonkey55's personal collection

Things are only worth what other people are willing to pay for them. A motivated VapeXhale "collector" might be willing to pay a couple hundred bucks for it, you never know . . . :)

I purchased a vertigo tree about a year ago and I think I paid just under $200 IIRC. Very similar to that piece (just not quite as tall).:2c:

I'd like to think it's worth 300-400.. I was thinking it'd be worth $600 with the VapeXhale Cloud Plus.

I wouldn't imagine anyone would pay more than $200 but you never know.
Seems about right(though maybe a bit less since it's not really one of the more sought after style hydratubes).

But $600 together with a Cloud Plus... @MGG --- I think you are way overvaluing. You can buy a brand new, warranted Evo setup for less than or close to that.(I don't know if they are still having a 15% off sale, so forgive me if I am off a couple $$)

To a general buyer in the market for a hydratube, I'd say probably $200ish - as the uniqueness isn't really part of the function of it (aside from giving you good ice room).

To a hardcore VXL fan, I'd guess you might get an extra $100-150?

Here in Australia as far as I can find vapexhale cloud plus retails for $399,
so I felt like $600 wasn't a terrible guess, including stand, hydratube, ELB's

I don't think that's worth much more than ~$150. Looking on the VXC site you can buy a brand new Swagger hydratube for $175. And no offense, but since your tube doesn't have the recessed joint, I don't think it's on the same design level as other hydratubes.

Ahhk I personally like the recessed joint, lets me use keck clips on it.
Also you have to recognize it's from stonemonkey55's personal collection, won in a competition,
only 1 of it's kind. But thanks for honest opinion.

I'd put a value of ~$200 on it too. Maybe more if you find someone who really wants something from SM55, but I can't imagine that list is too long. It would be different if the glass/hydratube was in itself special in some way. Like some of the limited edition tubes to the IGG, opals, styles not seen again, colors, etc.

It all comes down to supply and demand, if everyone in the world wanted the one you have it would be priceless. However as you can see from the responses its not that big of an item for many folks in this group. My advice is if you do decide to sell it don't look here for the big bucks on the other hand it is a nice looking piece that you could enjoy.

I agree with the $200 average appraisal here, plus whatever it cost to ship down-under.

The low water volume makes me like the piece a lot, would require less NACE and distilled water than my HT.
