My money is battery is completely gone. Or even a connector or wire opened up.
Did it charge initially?

Hey all, just received my solo, and it is a wonderful little toy, but I do have one issue hopefully someone can help out with. I looked at countless pages and couldn't find an answer so here it goes.

The aluminum cap, that screws on to the body, will not really stay closed. You know when you twist something to tighten it, and it just keeps spinning? That's happening, and right at the end you get the slightest bit of resistance until it slips again. Kind of annoying, but not a deal breaker. A fix, if anyone has one, would be greatly appreciated.

be careful - you could be crossthreading the top
was it like this since you got it? where did you get it, is it a massdrop/ebay unit?

It sounds like it's threads are stripped. This is usually do to tightening until it skips threads. Can be easy to do and only gets worse each click over. If not gone too bad you could try using some Teflon tape around the threads. That white thin stuff for piping threads. Hopefully, will give enough resistance to help you out.
Good luck,

You might be able to 'egg' (make it oval rather than perfectly round) the mouth of the cap enough to secure it, but I'd probably try tape first. A turn or two of 'Plumber's tape' (the white plastic tape with no adhesive used for pipe threads) or even a couple short pieces of 'Scotch' tape on the body threads?

Unfortunate, but as you say the vapor comes out just fine anyway.

Enjoy your new Solo, it's a good 'un for sure.

Thanks for the advice guys. Yes it was like this since I got it, yesterday. I got it from puffitup. I'm going to try the Teflon/scotch tape thing and that should help. It's not a deal breaker, as it doesn't really affect performance, and won't return it over this, as that is just a hassle. It's more of a little annoyance than an actual problem. As a matter of fact, I just ordered one of those Eds tnt wooden wand thingies, as Randy just got them back in stock, so this one is a keeper!

Email or call Randy....some of the best, if not 'The Best' customer service in the business...maybe you can work out a cross-ship for a new one.

Ok I need advice too becuz 420 is almost here

So I fill the side of the adapter that has the screen in it. Do I put another screen on top to make sure the product doesn't fall out. Or a screen just at the bottom of the heating chamber.

Randy is the best. So agree!!

Feeling dumb again and have the exhale going as well to back it up TGIF sooo much

Just put the cannabis in the stem, tap with your pinky finger just a bit. Turn your Solo upside down and insert the stem. Then set the Solo right side up.. Turn your Solo on until it's at the temp you want. You only need a screen under the herb in the bowl. Have a medium to fine grind of product and enjoy.

Some folks don't even use a screen. You do need to clean the stem more often if you don't use one. Some folks grind their herb and some use a nugget in the bowl.

My fav temp is heat level 4. LIM you should start out low so you don't harm your throat.

My solo with a @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd shorty stem designed for the Arizer Air!
It fits slightly looser than a solo stem so if you get one from him for the air make sure you have a 113 seal in your solo.

However way you find to use your Solo there's no right or wrong. It's nice to get ideas from others. I would never have thought to put wax in cotton and vape away in the Solo but I heard about it here. Also putting wax in the middle of the herb. Friends sharing ideas from every part of the world that's what it's all about.

Yeah for Friday

Solo (aka BB for baby beast) did a nice little job today. Of course since her brother exhale was already on I played with him as well - this is why I miust wait until Friday; sometimes I lack a little self control (sound familiar). Once you get the solo

That was already a couple of hours ago and soon enough I will try BB out w her cousin side circ. I think they will make a nice pair. I want to test them before I take them out on road. The side circ is pretty small (5 in) and when I put them together it was no bigger than any regular bong. They looked pretty good and this water tool was my original from evo so you know it's nice peice.

The 2 units are so much fun. I am very happy w the solo as my travel vape.

I see I have 7 alerts... Now I am in crisis mode. My new beautiful adapter is stuck inside the side circ. I mean it's just not coming out. I didn't sumberge it in water or ISO but I have been putting my 420 glass cleaner around the rim

Got so desperate asked my 22 yr old to try - that was a little weird and he couldn't do it either. I know my bad but not like he doesn't know. Who cares - it's still stuck. The side circ was clean and hasn't been used that much since dough boy came and the Ed wood was brand new. So what does the team say

You know it's a good thing to have a big brother in the house and it's not a total loss because BB does really well just w the stems but pour in the advise because I was sooo happy a few hours ago

It's so bad when devices don't work

Set a lighter to it , gently .
Basically heat it up around the rim area where it's stuck .
Be careful , it might just fall out .

I am very satisfied with my solo; however do have a little problem. A few days ago I accidentally threw out my straight stem (i was cleaning it and threw it in the garbage by accident). Prior to that I dropped my bent stem on the bathroom floor. In any event I have ordered and am waiting on a wooden stem from Ed's. My question is what to do while I wait for my new stem to arrive?

Is there a way to use the solo with something else? No local head shops sell the solo and is there some kind of glass I could use? Is there a way to use the proporri dish?

Sorry if this has been asked; however can someone explain the benefits of using the Arizer Solo (or a vaporizer in general) with a water attachment. I have an Eds wood stem on order and was thinking about trying the pinnacle or planetvape attachment.

@longisland If its a locked glass joint iso in between the joints has always solved mine even the scariest of locks, or heat on one component.

@Sherman Water just makes things good-erer haha, but seriously its cooler, filters particulates and allows for even bigger smoother hits. Usually at the cost of some flavour. I hear a record playing...
