Discontinued Haze Dual V3

I finally got my hands on the Haze and my first impressions have been quite good. Both types of screens with dry herb give really good pulls on temp 3 and 4. The cans are innovative and really help with keeping the unit clean.

I did a dab of wax on 4 but I didn't seem to get the best pulls. However, this was the first use of the Haze so I think I was still figuring out the unit. I'll try it again and update this but if anyone has any tips, I'd love to hear them. I also put hash in the can and didn't get any clouds with that either, but again this was one of the first tries.

The flavor is impressive and the design of the unit is more descreet than it looks in the pics. I still need to try other concentrates in it, which will be my primary use for the Haze.

Excellent to hear you are enjoying it so far. As far as portable vaporizers go for herbs/trates have you owned many? I am asking because most of them all have a sweet spot/learning curve all exclusive to the device.
My advice would just be to experiment with different different draw speeds. I was able to get visible vapor on both @ setting 3 and 4 on the old version of the Haze. Pretty soon you and you Haze will be one and we look forward to the updates. Thanks!

For the wax, I always do the 4th setting and once the light turns solid (takes about 50 seconds from cold start), I give it another 10-15 seconds before I hit it. It works the best that way. I use a single dab at a time which gives plenty of session time for me.

I think it's just a matter of finding the right draw. I figured out the herbs with either screens or the cans.

I get the taste of the wax but hardly any vapor. I'm still having fun figuring it all out. Thanks very much for the help and I'm glad I signed up here!

Hi there just wondering can you just put any AA battery in the haze or only the the batteries that come with the machine?

It has 18650 batteries in it. They are larger than AA batteries in size. You can buy them online from any marketplace. I am not sure if they are using any modifications to the battery internally though. I personally do not risk it but you can certainly try.

For wax discussion. I found this on YouTube for you guys. Hope this helps new Haze owners.

Yeah I had a video for Haze with wax on the earlier pages of the thread but that was older model Haze. I am not sure if this video is with V2 or not but V2.5 does even better job with wax since you can do it on setting 3 and 4 instead of only setting 4.

Alright guys, dry herbs with both screens or cans on settings 1 and 2 produce no visible vapor and a very mild taste. Temp 3 produces clouds but is very hot. Any advice? I packed the same materials in the Pax and got clouds at all settings. I've dealt with a few portables so I feel like I know what I'm doing and how to make proper adjustments.

And wax and oil produces light vapor at 4 but nothing at 3.

sounds like you have the older version that only the settings 3 and 4 are useful for. When using the cans for concentrate, use about .05-.1 max I would say. Make sure the lid is on the correct way, i had been putting it in the wrong way, and it was making it a very terrible experience. I personally only use heat setting 4, 3 if my throat is irritated. Hope this helps any more questions feel free to ask!

You have the V2 version. Did you buy directly from Haze themselves or from a distributor or did you buy from a seller? You can confirm the version with them.

I bought it on 12/2 from Haze directly. We confirmed it as the V2.5 but I will shoot them a quick email. Not sure why I didnt think to do that :)

I have the cans lined up correctly but the silicon lids seem to clamp up and restricts the airflow a bit.

The silicone lids have the hole on the top, not on the sides so it cannot restrict the air flow but you need to make sure that you are not overfilling the cans. In the manual, it is recommended 3/4 full for the best experience.

make sure the lid is in the correct position. that is my guess as to why you are having issues. If you in fact have the 2.5 you should be getting vapor at lower levels as well. Perhaps a lemon?

The lids were placed correctly with the metal facing out. It looks like I got a V2 and we have the process for the replacement started. Haze has been great every step of the way so I don't mind the mix up. It happens.

@donald420 AA batteries are not even the correct size and no the Haze batteries are specifically geared to work with the Haze. It says on the site, instruction manual or on the DVD that you should only use the Haze w/Haze batteries. Cheers!

That is my original haze. The new Haze V2.5 works twice as good!

Check youtube for a video next week with the V2.5 with shatter on temps 3 & 4!

There are is also a youtube video of the V2.5 using the conduction screen.

A convection screen V2.5 video should be up next week as well!

finally decided on the haze Friday and placed my order for a midnight - V2.5
I'm pretty damn happy that I waited long enough for them to release the new temps.
I'll be sure to give full review when I receive my unit this week.

That's is a nice setup for sure. Where did you get your attachment for the haze to fit the Nibbler?

@MadDawg I bought a box of random silicon couplers from the neighborhood hardware store when it went out of business:cry: ...
I will try my best to find out what its for and where to get one..

I should have the new Haze V2.5 videos up this week!
Check out my other Haze OG youtube videos!
I hope you guys enjoy them!!!
