No doubt just after they get them. Which comes after release to distributors, which happens in January we're told.

Soon on the calendar, but a long time if yer Jonesin' for sure. FWIW I don't expect to see great prices anytime soon as long as the pent up demand is there?

Too bad you missed the Black Friday/introduction sale from Arizer, I'm thinking it'll be a while before those prices come around again........

Hi
PV r the best if u r ordering international , last week I ordered few solo stems ,and I received my order in 4 days flat..and best part is discreet packaging, those custom fucks can never charge any duty on packages sent by PV.so ordering from Arizer website was never a option for me

.yeah I agree the price isn't coming down initially but I just love the Solo, its just such a good product that I would like to invest in another Vape by arizer..I just hope PV stocks em fast

Definitely prefer this to my Solo, and I think I like the delrin mouthpiece actually. They were great on the T1, great on the Elevape (though those come with aluminum ones now) and great here. Oh and 14mm connection without an adapter!

Plenty of comparisons in the Crafty/Mighty threads from people with Solo's. Just doesn't seem right to spam the Air thread with Crafty/mighty comparisons.

Indeed. As I mentioned a few pages back:
Comparison threads should be made in Ask FC. As I mentioned earlier, some comparison between vapes is inevitable in the vape specific threads, but we discourage too much of this type of discussion in vape specific threads to keep the threads on topic and avoid OT derails.

Back on topic, these new stems are even bangger on the solo. I love the little mouthpiece even though it is plastic, the mflb stem instead is also a nice touch but I reverted back to the plastic as it a had a stronger pull. I feel like im hitting an e cig everytime i bring this baby to my face though, the air that is

What is right for one person maybe isn't for someone else.

The Air is indeed like a mini Solo. If you need to be away from home this is the perfect portable to have your meds close at hand. With the user replaceable battery you can have batteries ready to go. Buy as many as you think you may need, they are $18.99.

The unique glass stems are easy to load, don't pack too tight because you need the airflow. This unit gives clean vapor flavor with plenty of clouds. Whether you are a recreational or a medical user, if you are a fan of the Solo you'll love the Air.

So guys? Do you think there is a good reason to go for an Air instead of a Solo if size and portability is not an issue? I don't really care about replaceable batteries but is a nice addition nevertheless... I like the new mouthpieces though and I would get some for the Solo.

I am thinking of getting one to share when I toke with friends as I find my Crafty is better suited to solo sessions... I toke from the Crafty, friends toke from the Solo or Air! Isn't that a nice scenario? :D
I am leaning towards the Solo actually cause of the longer battery life and higher temps and airflow... And price of course since it will not be my main vape.

Do you enjoy low temp vaping?
Do you think the airflow is a huge annoyance to you with the solo?
If so get the air. You'll want to use it and share it with friends.

I've never used the crafty but I still will pull out my solo and use it at level 6. I prefer my solo for higher temps but if I want to do some low temps and push giant clouds I'll take the air for a spin.

if you don't care about those things maybe you'll be fine with your solo.
i love having both!

So the air has better airflow than the new Solos (which I haven't tried by the way, last one I had was a M107 and the draw was quite hard)?

@shawn0223 ive just been using the vaccum techinque, so suck it up with the mouthpiece then just a light pinky pack on the load to push it below the rim and then tap out any un packed bits into your container while the rest should stay in the bowl and ready to go. dont push to hard when packing

So you fill it up all the way and lightly pack it? I never really took measurements when using the Pax or eq so I'm kinda being conservative. I should measure what I use in the Pax and eq.and try the same amount here and see what's up. I barely had any in there this morning and it seemed like it smoked better after the first ten minute shutoff. Like it needed a warm-up or something

maybe @shawn0223. just experiment. if you can weigh some out do that and see what your best option is. sometimes less is more, as long as your load has some airflow to touch all your herb your good and cloudy

Yeah it had airflow this morning but I didn't even have the bowl half full after packing it down so I'm pretty sure I didn't use enough. And the fact that it start hitting way better on the second 10 minute session kinda hints to it i think.

@Starless... How you been doing with the air? Been quiet lately. I got mine and can't seem to get it working right. Lol. Hate having to learn new things lol. Whenever it was hitting, it was waaay smoother and cleaner than my pax. But it also took longer to get going than my pax. Might have to "take a break" from work and go do another test bowl here in a bit

I am no expert here but i am thinking your herb may be to wet and sticky. Sometimes when this happens i do not get the greatest vape either. I don't have a air yet but it has happened in other vapes i own and by you saying it seems like it works better after the 1st 10min shut off kind of tells me that your herb has dried in those 10mins. I would try breaking some herb up and leaving it out to dry.

It's cured decently, not that moist and was in my grinder since yesterday so I figured it'd be decently dry, I might have to leave it open for a bit lol. It was like 50 degrees this morning so that probably had some effect along with wetness and not having enough in the bowl. So many different variables lol. Also noticed that whenever it's cold. The ground up herb tends to clump together in my grinder. No idea why lol

Finally today I recieved my Air, after it being more than a week here in customs.
(plus I had to pay an extra 150$ to customs )
I'm not sure if anybody already noticed in this thread, but this thing is much smaller
than it looked in the pics ;)
With my first 2 back2back sessions I had the feeling it works as good as the solo, not
better, not worse. It's a solo in a new package.
I like it, I love it, I keep it.

Now over to other things :

watch out for the spear of pain, stay away from it when medicated or you can stab your
self to death. I had the box open for 5 minutes and I already pricked myself.

the box it came in was just an ugly cartboard box. It took some of the unboxing fun away.

The included stems were both of a lesser quality, one has an askew bottom part (the part with
the air holes that goes in the bottom) and the other has bumps at the edge of the glass part that goes into the oven. None of these are an issue for me personally or for vaping results.

The new stems are a tiny bit smaller in diameter, my screens that fit pretty well in the solo stems
are a tighter fit in the air stems.
I really like the smallest stem, it has the smallest herb chamber of all my stems (air and solo)

I really like this vape, but I'm sure I'm going to love it once I can buy an external charger or when I know if I can use my cera's tenergy charger.

yeah it could just need to be dried a little bit more. Give it a try. i am not to familiar with the air but will be soon. I do know when i have some moist herb and use it in other vapes it tends to work allot better after my 1st session once its dry. I see most here recommend a medium grind and not packed to much so you get some nice airflow. I pretty much follow that method with most of my vapes.

Definitely about to take a break from work and go outside lol. Also. I had my stem snapped by the mouthpiece this morning :bang:
I've always had this issue with arizer glass pieces, they always are weak and break easily. So lame lol.
