I would call UPS and ask them what the delay is.
I just got off the phone with them and apparently it's sitting on a truck and has been since Sunday. They pretty much said that they don't have the staff to keep up with shipments. I'm hoping it gets here before Friday. Thanks everybody.

USPS beat UPS by 2 days the last tine I got something from Haze. I would give them a try instead the next time.

Well, I just got the 2.5 and I'm letting the batteries charge at the moment - so here's my question while I wait eagerly. How do you recommend taking hits (specifically with dry herb)? I couldn't resist when I opened the unit so I popped in the battery and tried a few quick pulls on the lowest temp setting, but didn't seem to get any visible vapor (I was using the convection screen, if that matters). Wasn't sure if it was maybe because the batteries were uncharged, or I was hitting too fast/slow/deep/whatever?

I've been using an Arizer Solo for a year or two and it took a little while to really figure out how to get the best draws. Does the Haze have a similar learning curve? Any advice on how to draw? Thanks! I'm sure once I get it up and running at full speed tomorrow I'll learn quick.

@Stummies, the conduction screen will produce more vapor than the convection screen, but yes battery life will play a part especially depending on the temps your using.

There's no real learning curve with the haze.. Just charge the batteries fully and you should have much better results.

I personally take nice medium draws with my haze, that works best for me at least!

Hey @Stummies yeah check the batteries. The Haze struggles when the batteries aren't charged up.

You might want to give it another 15 seconds or so too after the light stops blinking. If this is an updated 2.5 unit you should be getting nice low temp vapor.

No learning curve with the draw really. Nice open draw.

If you want to compare the clouds, you should use conduction screens at setting 2,3 or even 4 (if you like thick vapor, use 3 or 4). Convection screen will give you gentle vapor with much better taste.

@mixchu69 , I think @Vape Dr. has Persei and he is the best resource for this.

:mad::mad:Never received warranty Haze. Haze emailed me last month saying they were shipping out, no reply, no tracking........going on 4 weeks.

:\:\:\One bowl heats up to over 500F, mouthpiece door is loose in both directions, I felt an electric shock by the device and the battery compartment just randomly opens.

:nope::nope::nope:Along with the concentrates leaking all over the unit, unless you keep it perfectly level ( not portable) , the mouthpiece sticking, not being able to turn off the machine while cleaning it unless you remove the battery, and now their very strange warranty response time, I will not recommend this device.

My buddy in Washington state also got one, and from his experience, it was the same.:bang::bang::bang::bang:

@DasBlunt in our private conversation on this forum, you confirmed with me that our Distributor already contacted you about this warranty and things were moving. This was 3 weeks ago. Now you are saying that there were no replies from us. I am confused. You are well aware of the fact that we do not service individual accounts ourselves and all shipments and replacements are handled through our Distributor since they manage the warehouse. Based on your positive confirmation, we did not find the need to follow up on this warranty replacement. If you did let us know, we would have investigated. I just asked the status of this replacement from the Distributor and once I hear back, I will PM you shortly.

Really? Right down to the "strange warranty response time"?

I suggest you either get your buddy on here and we'll see how similar your cases actually were, or stop trying to bolster your claim with "a buddy".

Edit: This isn't an invitation to provide further support yourself.

Have you tried sending @Haze Vaporizers a message here on FC? They are very good at communicating here on FC. I started a warranty issue here with them on FC and then once had to e-mail somebody directly at Haze after the fact, 2 days later I got my replacement and sent off the old one to them. I do know at this point in time (the Holiday season) they are not getting back to me within the couple of hour time frame anymore. It is more like a few days now but like I said they are very busy and I have confirmed this with a few people over at Haze. Keep your chin up, I'm sure you will get taken care of and then you will be off and vaporizing again in no time.

As far as concentrates leaking, I'm taking mine all over the place with me and vaporizing concentrates. When I am done I just pop it in my pocket and go. Now if you have a huge load of concentrate and don't have 30 minutes or more to vaporize it all in one spot in the park, pop the warm can out and in under 2 minutes it solidifies back up and you are once again able to travel. Thus making this unit very portable even more so compared to other units that have the batteries built into them. I was always thinking about where I would be so I could plug my portable unit in to keep it charged. Keep in mind this example, it is not all that handy to be low on a charge in a non friendly state out in public and whip out the charger and unit. That is one less tether Imho tied to the Haze. It is situations like those that truly make the Haze fun on the run, keep those extra batteries charged up and you can go anyplace with the Haze and have no worries.

This is the first time I ever heard something negative about Haze service for sure.

I second that and figured it was not all that it may have been made out to be. I however was not surprised to see a response by Haze in the thread because that is what they do, I mean they are just great when it comes to service. Prime example in the face to be exact. :brow:

I agree with @trevorzamani and @ichibaneye. Customer service is one of my main criterias when purchasing and reviewing vaporizers.
With my experiences with @Haze Vaporizers have been nothing short of stellar.

@DasBlunt I have no doubt HAZE will rectify your problem.

You must also take into consideration the holidays are a busy time for everyone so things may not happen as quickly as they normally would or as quickly as you would like.
Hang in there my friend.
If you have a HAZE you are most certainly in good hands.

:myday:Received a reply today, from their distributer, who I imagine is separate from HAZe themselves. I also received a PM here from one of the many Haze reps.

 :tup:I guess they did not want to send me a color I did not order, which was nice. They left that option out of their "return label and new unit on the way" email to me, and just now clarified. Also, the Haze rep here, said that their distributor "over there" thought he had a phone conversation with me....nope, just emails.

:nope::rant: Version 2.5 , while available to a select few here on FuckCombustion, will not be available until after January 1 sometime.......

:shrug:The fact that there is no off switch and makes it so you cannot clean the mouthpiece area without removing the battery is a huge issue along with leaking concentrates. I may just return it for a refund, but the dry herb performance is really good....so I will need to think about it.:hmm::peace:

Dude you have quoted the same issues you have with the Haze so many times I can't even count.

If the offer is on the table from Haze to refund your money I think it's something you really need to think about.

If you cash in now you can prevent Haze from having to scrap/refurb another device because based on your feedback here it feels like this device is not for you.

This Haze has made a lot of customers happy but it's not perfect and it's not for everyone.

:lol:thanks for your feedback Scott. I have not read about most of the issues I had. Before I purchased it, the only thing I could find was a video review that said the mouthpiece got stuck for them. I thought it might be a one time thing.

I would also like to add that ALL vaporizer could always have more of this or that and are not perfect but nothing is perfect. Each has been designed in its own way. I like the variety myself. In life I believe it is not all about the wants/needs it is about what you have and how you embrace it. :science:

@DasBlunt it seems to me you are honestly not happy. I cannot understand how you seem to be so surprised/upset/issues (from what I have read from all of your posts) that the Haze is not for you.
What I'm getting at is the fact that this forum has well documented examples of what this little device is all about, the in's and out's of it all so to speak. That being said your new unit will not have a on/off switch so as you have previously stated this is an issue with you.
So my question is, why would you knock something that is not something you want in the first place with the correct set-up and all? :bang: I would not have purchased it myself if I had the same issues/wants as you. I think just getting your money back at this point and going for something else is best for you and Haze. Then at least you can have the money to get something else just in time for Christmas. Cheers!

The V2.5 is available to everyone by the way. It is only the stealth black color which is coming out in January. I agree with @ichibaneye . This is so interesting that you have this list that you think is a problem (which to me they are "preferences") and yet you are demanding a replacement which you know that it will not address your list of "preferences". Why??? Did you ask a refund and did they deny it?

I have hard time believing that Haze would keep your money knowing that you are not 100% happy with the product. So I would ask as the consumer.

What I also do not understand is the fact that you bring your personal transaction to this thread although you have been in direct communication with Haze themselves and with their distributor (as you mentioned that the communication has been in an email format with the distributor and in PM format with Haze reps). Is there a reason that you felt like this had to be discussed here?

Regardless, I think your list has been well received by everyone here in so many pages, over and over again so we are all anxiously waiting that you will somehow be taken care of by someone so we can resume discussing the next set of ideas for a product that we are all passionate about.
