gold all in my chains...dont believe me just watch
I saw something cool on Instagram yesterday. Idk if it was ever posted on here. Anyways some guy used his MFLB stem and put it in the new air capsule where the plastic tip would go to eliminate the plastic.

Seemed like a good idea
huh? im intrigued but have no idea what this means...you got a link to that pic, sidankies?

Hey guys just got my AA and it looks awesome!
Im sorry for the noob question but when u load the glass stem wirh weed, is it supposed to fall down into the metal chamber or stay in the glass stem bowl? It seems like there iw space between the end of the stem and the metal chamber, or am I just not pushing it in hard enough?

push the stem in until it hits the bottom of the oven. your herb should only touch the bottom of the oven at most. if you pack it a bit it should stay put in the stem.

oh and you are inserting the stem upside down right? and then turn it right side up after the stem has been inserted.

Some pothead math trying the calculate the "miniaturization premium" of the Air compared to the Solo.

Sessions per Charge: Air 5 vs Solo 8 = 37.5% Session Premium per charge
Session Duration: Air 10 minutes vs Solo 12 minutes = 16.5% Duration Premium

Therefore the Air renders 37.5% less sessions per charge with 16.5% shorter sessions. ;)

It ain't the calculus of differences.

In the quantum mechanics of probability, the Air is an entirely new entity, surely to cause waves of raves. The Air boson. OK, it is a bit bigger than that.

It doesnt seem like it hits the bottom. If I measure the distance from the end of the stem to the part that it goes inside until, it seems like its not deep enough to hit the bottom

OK, here's a test. Hold your thumbnail against the glass to mark where it leaves the top (or put some tape on it?), pull it out and compare to the vents. Mine just makes it to the bar between 2nd and third slot up from the switch end.

Much easier to get in and out when warm/hot, right?

Yeah it initially will feel like you're about to break the glass stem pushing it in. It's almost like it goes in once, and then you push a bit harder and it snaps down again. It was a much tighter seal compared to my Arizer Solo. Also, it would probably help (also for herb spillage) if you turn the air upside down and push the stem into it?

Thx man the test worked great!

Yes now it goes all the way in! It loosed up a bit and yes there were 2 snaps

With the shorter airflow 392 degrees seems hotter with the Air. The Solo mouthpieces help with that. I've been using 374 which is the white light in place of my Solo fav temp of 383, it feels similar vapor wise. I do get bigger clouds from the Solo.

I was thinking if Ed can create a wood-Mouthpiece tip to just screw on the Aroma Tube instead of the black piece.

Fun idea, but I suspect it'll need an insert (say a drilled out cap?), threading wood, especially small inside threads, is not for the timid. I suspect it'd be hard to make and sort lived?

At first I thought the 10 minute shutoff was a little too short but the stem is pretty much always cached by the time it turns off.

One weird thing - the beep is gone. Not sure if I pushed some secret button sequence that muted it.

I guess the timing match depends on individuals? I very seldom 'cache' a fresh bowl in a 12 minute session in Solo.

The beep ls like in Solo, only more quiet. To turn in on and off, hold the up key for five seconds or so when heating. You should get a conformation beep turning it on, and confirmation silence turning it off.......

The poker tool is good for picking out O-rings from the mouthpiece, which then can slide down and be stored on the poker while cleaning. Was worried about losing them and this seems to work well.

Good idea, but setting it safely aside won't help us sloppy guys that lose it trying to wash the parts for initial use....... Some would say we're hopeless, and be able to offer proof.

Noob question. Never used a vape before.
What are all the different glass stems/tubes for? (2 mouthpiece ones, one really long one, and one glass bowl)

They are for packing your herb , you pack it at the bottom of the stem. Different sizes yield different results , such as a longer stem would most likely provide you with cooler vapor as its longer and as the vapor travels down the longer stem it is cooled more. Also some people like a smaller stem for a more stealthy vape when on the go and a longer one for at home. Glass bowl is for potpourri to make everything in your area smell nice.

This or the crafty? I am leaning towards this because of price. Also, I am guessing the limited time special is expired? Any opinions?

Not sure where you are located but i'd go with the arizer air. Crafty can be a pain if you need to send it to Germany for repair but i guess that depends on were you purchase from. For me its the arizer air over the crafty bc 1 - its getting great reviews so far and 2- it has a user replaceable battery unlike the crafty i believe which is a built in battery. Don't quote me on that as i am not 100% . Also the price with this fits the bills for me , crafty is expensive although storz and bickel does make quality products , i owned a volcano for a few years and really liked it and it never quit on me once. I also now have arizer extreme q and love it with 0 problems . I suggest you take a look at both read reviews and pick what fits you and your needs the best. I believe you cant go wrong with either machine.
