Not sure...
Last time I spoke to Kyle he said I was approved for a replacement and that it would be shipped to me, no mention of dates etc...
No e mail yet either...

How did it work for your replacement?

Have I mentioned how much I miss this vape lately?? LOL!!
Literally a three/four day turn around. Both times.

Almost there...

Shipping to Canada adds a whole pile of time...

EDIT:
Just heard from VN, should ship today and tracking in a day or two!! Hoping it arrives before the end of the year!

I'm a little confused by the contents of what the minivap comes with. What else would I need to get to use it with a waterpipes?

Here's a pic of the easiest method for a bubbler. It takes 3 seconds to unscrew the lid and remove the flexicone basket module, invert it so basket faces up, place in any water piece with 14 mm joint.
Invert the mV onto the basket and enjoy.

Many of the other methods are to allow not removing the cover/ not removing the basket. But it literally takes 3 seconds to then enjoy thru water.
I'll also show the MFLB whip method below. It's maybe $27???

hihi yeah i know, thats why i put a blinky eye next to it

Sidenote: I guess taste might not be so important in a way, yet I personally think that there is still only little we know about this plant and its chemistry...what if some of the major medicinal benefits turn out to come not from thc or cbd, but from any of the many different other terpines found in the plant?

Back to solo versus MINIVap: I do feel like the solo is capable of releasing most of the flavours present, but it feels a bit like it is releasing it all a bit forced in the first hit. This seems to put stress on certain elements of the flavour, yet diminishes other more subtle aspects of it. This might be what the conduction versus convection comes down too? I do feel like a bigger palet of different flavours is offered too me by the minivap in comparison to the same strain and the same bong but then with the solo as my vape...

I think taste is one of the biggest reason I buy a vaporizer

So... for anyone still on the fence about the MiniVap... go for it.

I haven't tried the Mighty or Crafty, but in addition to the MiniVap I own the Cloud EVO, the Pax, the Magic Flight, and an old-school canon/whip vape. The MiniVap is, BY FAR, the best experience of the bunch.

There are many things I love about this device, from the unparalleled taste to the ease of use. Perhaps most telling: I originally got the MiniVap because of its compatibility with glass. The vapor is so smooth and delicious, however, that I actually prefer hitting it straight.

One more thing: the silver unit is very aesthetically pleasing. Like an old-school lightsaber or something lol.

anyone able to order direct from minivap to the uk

I want to purchase MV Special Accessories Kit+ but it only allows me to register and ship to the US. I have emailed them. so suppose I have to wait.

also I only got one silicone tube with my minivap, it is not a tad dirty and sticky on the outside (don't ask me how, unless they go like that). the website states 25 uses. I have used it loads.

does anyone attempt to clean them. I have 99.9% iso but don't want to damage it. need to order spares in case

thanks guys/gals

There is a dedicated euro site.
http://www.minivap.com/eu/

25 uses is bull:shit: bro. They're easily cleanable with Iso.. I don't soak them though, just swab them before they get all tacky.
The ACap(what I call the arizer basket cap on the large basket) setup works really well at keeping debris collection down to an absolute minimum.
My :2c:
Clean:rockon:.. And debris free
That's tha A'Cap right there.
The large basket likes his wee :wave:hat.. And since Hermes released the rimmed screen(I don't find the need to use them with this setup) then there is no issues in either the flexi or flexi+ effortlessly housing them.
Edit: I meant to say that I've changed the positioning of the narrow glass part.. It now sits flush with the screw on MV lid/cap.

So, I've seen that some are using the Magic Flight Water Whip to attach the miniVAP to various water tools. I was wondering what would you all think of using the new Magic Flight Orbiter Bubbler with the miniVAP? It comes with the whips: http://sales.magic-flight.com/orbiter/

I was thinking it could be a good starter kit for someone looking to test drive the water tool style, and if I want to upgrade to a more high end bubbler I'd already have the miniVAP compatible Water Whips.

Thoughts?

First I was going to say--no, way, don't waste the money, the water piece looks subpar, jump right in on a decent China clone piece for half this $79 price.

THEN, I see that it comes with 2 of their whips---which happen to be a very sweet pieces and which happen to be way overpriced IMO from MFLB ($30 for one).
So, if you go into it that you're getting a smokin deal on two great whips AND a potentially poor water piece --you're good.
Plus, this water piece COULD be a sweet surprise. It's a very minimal size piece but the miniVAP vapor is so great, you don't need much conditioning. that minimal diffusion might yield a great taste with just gettin a little moisture to it.

Still say the other option is get an el cheapo Chinese small bubbler if you don't go with the MFLB combo.

P.S. With your new mV, you might want to hit it straight with no water to get the max taste and it delivers there. I even use the short 2" hard mouthpiece a lot. I think I have a sensitive mouth/throat/lungs but I will use this all the way up to red. Even there, with good quality bud, it is not harsh at all. It is #1 DRY and a distant #2 VERY WARM. Still VERY tolerable to me!!
So, thru my bubbler on red--I like that more, vapor is MOISTURIZED and yummy

As you add mouthpiece length and then water, each has the flavor go down ever so slightly. More area/time/distance/cooling to condense vapor out = less getting to you.
EXPERIMENT with all the possibilities....your mV will guide you to it's peak performance for you :)

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I was thinking the same thing about the double whip combo and how good of a price it is for 2 of them and a "starter" bubbler. The water whips would allow me to easily upgrade to a high quality glass piece in the future if I decide I love vapor-bubbling, and I also have a MFLB, so the mutual compatibility with the Orbiter is an extra motivator.

I'm loving the miniVAP dry, really (using the flexicone+ with the mouthpiece of the plastic straw attached to it. It's great, all good there). Still I've seen how enthusiastic people are about using the miniVAP with glass and it makes me want to try!

It already comes with what you need for glass mating. Go get the latest piece in the cheap bubbler thread and a $10 reducer.

Thing is, I don't want cheap glass...if I find I really like vapor-bubbling I will probably get something super high quality eventually.

Also, forgive my ignorance, but what is a reducer? Sorry...I'm a total glass n00b.

Don't forget there are also a variety of options for adding differing diffusion to the Magic Flight WT or indeed any WT with a replaceable down pipe. :brow:

Reducer.. Changes the size of the glass joint.

There's cheap and there's shitty. I just ordered 3 cheap ones after enjoying my last cheap one for over a year. That thread is a godsend for me!

fair enough! I'll take a look at the thread and see if anything strikes my fancy :)

This was sort of my thinking, get two MF WT's and a bubbler that may or may not be cool and then replace the bubbler if I want something more interesting in the future.

I'll have to do some more research...

I just ordered a FC-187 to pair with my MV. Now question is which comes first, my new Mini or the glass??
