Sorry, misspoke. Replaced them as top of the industry oil vape. But I guess you guys were in competition.

I would invest in the Nibbler XL but I know that within the week that I get it, it will break.
Someone will drop it or something will happen to it so I'd like to know of a cheaper alternative too, if anyone would like to share theirs.

You can use silicone tubing to attach the standard mouthpiece to a fitting that you could put on any water pipe. Fittings are available in male or female, whatever size you need. http://www.vaporwarehouse.com/site/h2o-adapter-ground-glass-14mm-angled.html is an example of a ground glass fitting for a 14mm piece.

You'd want to measure the diameter of the mouthpiece and get appropriately sized tubing. Referring to the Whip tubing megathread will help. The fittings I listed might not be the exact thing you need depending on the size of tubing you need, I was just trying to give you an idea- you'll need to match the ID of the tubing to the OD of the glass adaptor. To get the tubing over the Hercules mouthpiece, dip it in hot (or boiling) water so it will stretch.

I just got my Persei with the core. I tried hitting my 2.4 ohm essential oil cart with 3.7 omicron light but want thicker clouds. Using the core, what voltage is best when using the core with Persei top? I feel the 7.4 of the Persei will be too strong? Any thoughts?

EO carts especially the 2.4 ohm don't make clouds. Theyre designed to give light hits. Beginner rule of thumb regardless of cart type is don't go beyond the voltage of a fully charged battery. 3.7v battery will come off the charger at 4.2v. If you want a cloud get a different cart :)

I just realized with all my up tech gear... I have never tried a eo cart or kiss cart on the Core. Only Hercules and Bender. Hmm.

Ok, I'm hoping to actually get an answer to a question that I'm sure has been asked before. I apologize for that up front.

My SR74 wasnt working and I bought a new center post for it. The old one had no spring left. Now it fires up again, yea! I also bought the voltage tester. My question is about the tester. What should it read for my SR74? Is there documentation for it? I can't find any online...

I'm getting:
2.72 on the 7.4 kiss
1.28 on the 3.7 kiss
.83 herc black rod
2.24 white rod herc

G said these were good

Here is an idea that worked for me: until you get the feel for where the rod should sit, do this. When you assemble the herc put in the rod and only tighten the collar enough that the rod can still slide a little when you push on it but will stay in place if not pushed, and thread the two chambers together. Next take the two chambers back apart. The rod should now be in the right position, so tighten the collar fully and take your reading. The extra resistance in your multimeter readings should now be cleared up.
Just so were clear though - don't force anything for sure. If you scratch the silver stuff off of the rod it will stop working and you will have to buy a new one so...

okay i will try that when i get home. i think my problem is that the collar doesnt stay tight enough either way. even when the collar is tightened down fully the rod will move slightly when i screw the chambers together. also my spare rod (was supposed to be a 3.7 but w9 sent me another 7.4 by accident) wont even stay in. if i tighten the collar down fully it will will fall out without touching it..

Well, I plugged the herc into it and got a reading of around 3.2 I think. I'm at work now, so I can't re-check. I bought this because I didn't know for sure that my problem was with the center post. It turns out it was, but I would still like to be able use the tester to make sure everything is good. I wish W9 had better docs for their awesome products ;)

This is a message from THC in my inbox "the 74x should read around 1.9-2.4 ohms with the white rod and .8 -1.0 ohm with the black rod."

my sr74x i just received also reads out at 3.0/2.9 so our numbers are pretty close.. im definitely getting nowhere near the 1.9-2.4 .. lowest ive got it was 2.7

So, I guess my meter isn't working right or I'm not using it correctly if I'm getting a reading over 3.0 with the white rod?

Thats what i want to know. im also getting 3.0 which is close to your number.. lowest ive been able to get it was 2.7 and thats without screwing the chambers down fully

EDIT: does your multimeter start out at 1 as well ? because what im guessing is we should subtract that 1 from our number in my case that would bring me to 1.9/2.0 and you would be at 2.3 .. both of which are in the range of the 1.9-2.4

That might be the case. I'll look into it more when I get home. I thought the numbers moved up and down, but I might be wrong. I was in a hurry this morning to get it running before heading to work. When I get home tonight I'll post my exact findings.

I must say, having it back working is great. I forgot how much I loved the taste and the quick fix!

yea when I turn mine on it defaults to 1

when I touch the leads together it goes crazy but eventually stops at 0.8-1.0
then if I assemble my sr74x completely it'll be between 2.9-3.0 sometimes 2.9-3.1

Ah, OK... I don't have one like that. I got mine from W9 when I purchased the center post. It's a small unit where you screw the herc into it and get a digital readout...

get a pelican case

been using my SR71 on my double top and loving it. For some reason however, voltages between like 5.5 and 6.2v will intermittently give me a blinking light on the core (with or without any cart attached)

odd

with the sr74x say I want to switch from the black rod to the white do I have to empty out the chamber or can I switch while it's still full ?
