Discontinued Puffit 2

Well first let me start off by saying I don't like the Puffit-X. Now as far as the Puffit-2, I have only vaped about 10 bowls so I need more use to give a full review (I got it midway through testing the Crafty/Mighty, and then the Air showed up, so it hasn't gotten enough attention yet).

From my use so far the vapor quality seems similar to something like the vapormax to me, possibly a little better, it's not the best tasting (but its definitely not bad like the puffit-x) and its considerably more dense than the Puffit-X. I was pleasantly surprised considering how the old puffits performed, and how cheap this one is priced. Since its under $100 and the form factor really is pretty stealthy, I think the Puffit-2 is pretty legit. For someone who doesn't need to be discreet its not worth buying probably. But if you need to be discreet, this really serves the purpose. It heats up for individual draws, so you turn it on in your pocket, and it does very light buzzes until its warmed up, then two long buzzes letting you know its ready. Then you pull it out, take your draw, and put back in your pocket. You can then turn it on again, and it will be ready for another draw in ~10 seconds or so. But from a bystander, it looks like you are actually pulling an inhaler out of your pocket, using it and putting it away since its not a session vape.

Thank you so much you answered my questions dead on if the vapor is a little better then the vapormax then in down to purchase it. Thnx for the awesome pics as well you made it much easier on me :D. I also think the blue seems to look better then the black so that will be my choice as well.

I'm also surprised there are not more people who have the P2 but I understand all
the fear of yet another mediocre hitting vaporizer that tastes like a warm snorkel.

All of that is solved with the new design which eliminates the use of a vapor path inside
the vaporizer.

I don't use the p2 on a daily basis but it's a nice machine to take on the road and to stay under
the radar.

It's not a fog machine but then again, it's designed to be stealthy and big clouds are
anything but stealthy. It does deliver though and it can get you pretty messed up.

Abv is always very uniform and pretty dark, I wouldn't save it for edibles or so.

I usually make my avb a dark brown, sometimes almost black, trust me it still potent in brownies at least with my method(simmer in coconut oil).

Well I just got it and I can say it works well as a work vape. I do believe it could be better with higher Temps, the lower Temps are useless. But it works OK reminds me of my magic flight in a way. I still need time to test this a bit better but for now I can say in satisfied:tup:

Cool. Keep us posted. I'm seriously considering this for my family vacations. If I can't find a hidden spot to break away for a quick session I could always excuse myself for a couple minutes while I sit on the bench and "catch my breath".

So @$unnyblaq where would you say the Puffit2 rates as far "bowl" size /herb usage. Is it about hammer stem size or more towards the "Pinnacle bullet" size. I couldnt help myself and placed my order already. Thanks Bro. Stay Vaped!

Hey bro sorry for the late response but glad you got one coming in. I feel it's like a full mflb trench or a little less then a full bullet. I always crush very fine and I get ok hits, I get the effects but the clouds and tiny. That's why I compare it to my mflb in terms of hit size and bowl size but I feel the mflb hits better. Maybe in time my technique will and packing method will improve this but for now I'm satisfied with it. Hope you enjoy your my brother and if you find a good way to hit this lmk.

I would really appreciate if someone could upload a picture of the user manual or help me directly. After pressing for heat up and it starts to vibrate, everything looks normal. Then when its done it vibrates like 8 times, red light is flashing a lot(highest heating light) and then it shuts down.

What is happening?

I just got mine today. And it looks like I am missing the concentrate insert, did you get one with yours? I also got extra screens, two with holes in the middle and two without holes. I wonder what that's all about?
It doesn't say anything in the instructions about two different types of screens.

Oh shit, thanks a lot dude, really appreciate it! Damn thats pretty shitty... I have had it for about 3 months.

I dont have any concentrate insert either, did not even notice cause i will not ever need it. The screens with holes in is for the concentrate i guess, in the picture the concentrate insert looks like it would fit inside the holes in those filters.

sensor error... fuck, i will clean it a lot right away, ill post soon.

There isnt really a lot to clean.. Where could the sensor be..

You can always try contacting customer service. Hopefully I am wrong and its something you don't have to send it back for.:shrug: I might send him a message myself asking about the screens and concentrate insert.
@$unnyblaq did you get a concentrate insert?

I think its a sensor error and im pretty sure i wont be able to fix it my self :(.

I mailed him at vapefiend where i bought it and i also mailed discreet vape. I have owned a puffit x as well and its pretty shit that they have these good ideas and once they finaly make a vape that I think is good its so poor quality..

Well after a night and a few bowls with the Puffit2 I'm happy to say I'm glad I got this very stealth Vape.
My initial wash didn't completely get rid of the plastic taste so the first time I used it the taste wasn't the greatest but after a very hot wash with some dish soap the plastic taste was gone and this vape really shined. So far I've only tried it at level 4 and the vapor is warm not hot. The trench size is about equal to two Vapman bowls and the ABV comes out a nice dark coffee color.
One of the reasons I first began Vaping was the stealth aspect:ninja: and this vaporizer is about as stealth as you can get.
After a quick little modification (adding a real inhaler sticker) this vape is now 100% stealth!

I found an old inhaler I had and stole the sticker. I had to trim it a little but I think it came out alright.

The little screw thingy yes I got it and I got mine vape from gotvape. I also love my puffit2 it uses a good amount like my brother said 2 vapman bowls. It's funny I'm waiting for my gf to give me her label on her pump for ultra stealth funny how me and @VAPEHUNTER love the same vapes it's kinda awesome.

I got mine from Gotvape too. I may have to call and see if there is something they can do to help me out.
A little tip on the label. Carefully use a razor blade to remove it. I started peeling it and the adhesive stayed on the unit instead of the sticker.
And it looks like the old adage is true..."Great minds think alike":cheers:.

Just a quick update about the sensor error. I talked both with vapefiend wich i ordered from and with discreet vapes. They will let me send it back plain and simple, got to keep everything except the battery and chamber, still a bit pissed it broke so easy but very good customer support and they are very friendly and helpful.
