I don't mind dry or wet, it's all good to me. Dry has more flavor and doesn't bother me too much unless I do multiple sessions. YMMV.
Check out the magic flight orbiter or soulshinefamilyglass or the VaporBrothers Hydrator
Thanks-I do have the orbiter, I think I would just need a gong to go with it. I don't like the silicone tubing, but maybe I could get a custom glass piece made for it I suppose.

I used a 14mm long gong stem from underdog vapes as an orbiter mouthpiece

Thanks Tweak. One thing, when you say dry doesn't bother you too much unless you do multiple sessions, in what way does it start to bother you. How many sessions is typical for you, how many is "too" many?

Thanks everyone else too, great info hear and it seems I have a lot more to learn.

blamejane,

Green goes to brown, n that's what I stand for.
And a good WP is only about $40 and a two week wait for the mail man. discovering that I could afford to buy several nice glass pieces and connect them to a bubbler is one of the greatest things FC has shown me.
just a question about cheap glass (sorry if its off-topic but not really because i plan on using it strictly with my e-nano); what are the major differences between cheap glass and brand name in terms of performance?

My mouth and throat will start to dry out and get irritated. Sometimes my teeth will start bothering me.

What I meant by multiple sessions was concurrent sessions. As long as I take a little break between stems it isn't so bad.

But I've always been a fan of water pipes since I was a youth, so they are as fun to use as they are beneficial.

If you can handle the wait, I highly recommend picking up a bubbler from DHGate and avoid your LHS, unless you have the $$ to throw around. My LHS is a joke, I have more scientific glass than they do.

@Enchantre you must let me know where affordable local glass is in Western Washington. I've only seen marked up Chinese and very expensive local. I bought one $80 locally made piece that was a disappointment once I actually put water in it.

I live in the Olympia area, so I favor Tony's Variety Store. All glass (except my HT) in my vids/pics come from there. ...nor the J-hooks. But, my bubbler, and my baby bubbler, my torches, and my nails, I get there. I drool a lot there - and they actually hooked me up with FC!

There is really none, for equivalent pieces.

I don't buy "brand name" either (except for the Healthstone) - I got two nice pieces from my LHS that were locally done, and priced competitively with any piece I've found online except for at DHgate. I got a "natural perc" piece first, when I got my Nano (see, this is on topic), which works with it perfectly. The amount of water determines your filtering/chug, and there is minimal flavor loss. I'll find a pic, really.
That piece cost me $40. I still have it. I still love it. and, somewhere, deep in my heart, I am happy to know that it is locally made. (it could have been $60, but it doesn't seem like it, when I think of it. I did get a cutsie piece for my oil rig there that did cost $60... but I'm pretty sure that first piece was only $40).

@j3oomerang I don't think that will work, but if it did, I'm sure you'd have to set it to 10 and wait for conduction to heat the glass much hotter than we normally run it.

It seems to me that this device works by passing the heated air through your vaporizable material. If your wax sat in the cup, the hot air would pass around it instead. At best, or would be inefficient and probably frustrating. But it would be easy to try if you have a cheap glass nail around.

Try using some combination of more cotton and less wax. I use two cotton pads and sandwich a rice grain sizeable of wax between them. As soon as the wax melts into the bottom pad, I flip them over and the next hit saturates the other pad. Maybe flip the pads one more time if necessary. I can keep the liquid wax from passing through the screen this way, and it definitely doesn't visibly end up in the bong.

hi e nano crowd.
wondered if it would be cool to ask a few questions??
ive tried finding answers via google and fc.

im considering the e nano due to reading really good things about this little vape and its ability to vape with v little material.

first question has this vape been produced with a uk plug at 220v or do us uk vapers need a step down transformer?
also how does this little vape compare to a ssv or lsv?
my current set up is ssv with vb mini wand and im loving it.
looking like another vape is needed as my girlfriend likes to stay in with the ssv and I like to go out to party's with the ssv. was thinking we just need two ssv but thinking a different vape would be good.

any hints and tips reviews or findings?

what are the major differences between cheap glass and brand name in terms of performance?

Build quality is the biggest difference - this can affect performance. Often cheap glass pieces will have imperfections in the glass (rough welds, bubbles, etc) - the glass has a faint yellow tint to it, and often percs are installed incorrectly which can cause them to not fire properly.

Also the percs are often mass produced with no care for how they may function - flame polishing is critical to ensure they fire properly, yet 9 out of 10 chinese pieces do not use flame polished percs

My china glass works, and it's fun to switch it up frequently. They do the job they were expected to do. However they aren't "perfect" which is to be expected.

I got a water pipe myself due to the throat irritation issue, and for a while that's all I used, but lately I've been starting with the dry stem at lower temperatures (~5.5-6 on the dial) for that awesome flavor and different effects. When that stops giving results, sometimes I'll transfer the material to my GonG and crank the dial up to 7-7.5 to finish it off through water.

Thy aren't compatible with the nano, but good mouthpieces for the orbiter

I just got a UD to give to a friend and ... had to make sure it worked over the weekend.

UD stems have a slightly larger inner diameter, but I had no problem using a long UD GonG with my nano. It was a bit awkward since my WP is rather small, but it's nice for the method I mentioned above to be able to use the same stem both dry and through water... The nano stem doesn't quite fit around the UD heater, but that way still worked very well too.

So I've tried to make sure its not just me, and I still cant find a way to use the new GonG I got without burning myself. I sent epicvape an email through the website but no response, so here goes.

For the black friday deal I got a new 18mm gong and a bag of screens. The gong is MUCH shorter than the original one I bought with my nano. To make things worse my nano is sticking in the gong no matter what I do. Ive cleaned it and tried hot and cold, still sticks. Since the gong is so much shorter in overall length now, the entire thing gets way hotter than my original. I have to grab it to actually get the nano out since it takes force, and I am burning myself every time. I have to now figure a way to remove the gong from my piece while its stuck to the nano, then grab the gong and work it off. Thats the only way not to burn myself, but I dont see how this is ok.

The gong needs to be at least a half-inch or more in length, and of course the nano should not have any issues with fit.

I dont get a lot of responses from others on here, so Im not expecting anything but maybe for andy to say hey sorry bout that. It would also be nice to get what I thought I was paying for but that is the least expected of all. I cant imagine how we got to the point where the gong I was sent was considered acceptable in the first place.

I've got two 19mm gongs - one purchased back in June and the other during the black friday sale. The first is 60mm long and the second is about 58, so shorter, but not so much that I can imagine it making a big difference (haven't used the new one yet). @MuushuPork and @mtnbike420, are those lengths similar to yours?

I've got both an all glass and a standard GonG coming from the black Friday sale. Although USPS isn't bothering to update any tracking info whatsoever. Hopefully one of these will be functional. But I'm glad to know that I need to pay attention when they arrive.

But there's really no problem since I know Andy will sort anything out as needed.

I 100% agree. The QC on these could be better, but I think the price does reflect the quality.

Give Andy a day or 2 to get back to you, then try again if he hasn't. Sometimes email gets lost or missed, he will take care of you and probably send you replacement ASAP. Andy provides great service, just give him a little time.
