Discontinued Vaporfection viVape

Welcome to the club! And let me tell you, you definitely made a great decision. I'm sure you've used it some already but it's definitely an upgrade of the ExtremeQ. They're a good company but too much metal, plastic and that weird mica thingy they had issues with melting early on...

Anyway back on point, yes DBV wands work, any 14mm(I believe that's the right size) will work. I used to have a mad scientist set up with a bunch of random adapters and joints to make my unit whipless(really all glass)...but as wands go I would def recommend the dbv wand over stock... 340 is a good starting point but that was my whip temp bags use higher fan speed so I may suggest 350. The highest I've ever set mine is 380 FYI (I'm a low temp vapor though so your need might be different)

Obviously take the wand out in between bags and/or hits in whip mode. Besides that can't really think of anything if you have questions feel free to ask.

thanks for the reply and temps.
I'm a low temp vapor guy myself so I'll go with your advice to start.
I typically slowly turn the temp up as i get towards the end of the batch.

can't wait to use it and I noticed you guys have had good luck with the warranty which is a big deal to me.

Best customer service in the business... I've never met Dan in person, but I consider him a friend and hope to one day

I was lucky enough to meet the Vivape guy(Dan?) at the LA Canibus Cup, and I found him to be a really humble dude, and genuinely excited about his product.. Although it's not the vape for me, it works great, and tastes great IMO, an seems to be quality.. I really did enjoy using it.. The Continuous fan really is not as much of an issue as I had imagined it would seem.. Great Vape IMO, and seems like good people behind it too.. Good shit IMO

Well I finally took the plunge and ordered the ViVape 2 over the weekend and took advantage of the Black Friday deal they had going on. I just got shipping confirmation, so I should be vaping by the weekend...

This will currently be my only plug-in vape (I've been using my Pax almost daily, even at home) and will only be my second plug in vape ever (first was the VapeXhale Cloud).

I'm looking forward to using it as my home vape instead of using my Pax all the time.

So I got my ViVape yesterday and used it for about 5 sessions so far. I've tried a few different temp settings, first at 350, then 365-375-390-400-415. I will say for the whip I think I like it around 360-375 (but I'm going to try 340 today) but for some reason I can't get the bags to fill with much vapor at all. I filled 2 bags up so far (one @ 390 and one @ 415), when I filled it @ 390 I could taste the bag more than the vapor and @ 415 it was better but hardly any vapor. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
Another thing I noticed was after I take a hit and if I leave the whip attached, the fan will blow vapor out for about 10 seconds then no more vapor. I tried this with a few different herbs and it didn't change. I'm also filling the bowl up about half way between the screen and the ground glass and not pushing it down.

I'm very impressed with the whip but I really wish I could get the bags to fill up with some good vapor.

I believe you need to remove the wand between hits or the fan will waste your bowl.

Oh I know this, I remove the wand between hits to stir but for bag fill up, not much vapor comes out and into the bag, I was testing it busy just leaving the bag unattached to see how much vapor comes out.

No more post since 2014?.. :uhh: Seriously..?
It is true that materials get wasted if the chamber is attached, 18mm glass chamber is fragile as well as the inner chamber of the unit it self , and the bag never get filled up properly.. Yes it is true!
However straight tubing always gives the best experience out of all my vapes.
I have managed to try pretty much almost every vaporizers that are currently on the market, but the Vivape2 produces the tastiest vapour out of all my vapes.. It's just tutti fruity:tup:

I hope the Mivape turns out to perform like his big brother.
Let me introduce you my 'Celtic Tree Mate'

I love the Vivape2. Dan is a very easy guy to work with.
For the price it`s one of the best out there.

75 bux at PIU right now. I can't even justify it... especially when I read how much power it consumes buy constantly blowing hot air.

Just so Dab HAppy!
I got one for free and I still can't justify keeping it around. It just doesn't get used. I have had good experiences with it for sure, however it does not compare to the greater experiences I have with my current favorites in my line up so it sits with some others and gets dusty unfortunately.

I got to try a viVape 2 this morning. Hit a balloon at 360°F. Was really surprised at the amount of visible vapor from such green tasting hits (cashed in 2 draws). Like, super green tasting! Nice uplifting high. Impressed!

I have one of these units from way back when they were still in business. I was wondering if anyone knows where to get a replacement hose for this thing?

Honestly, I have been dabbing like a mad man the past few years and it has not gotten a lot of use lately. I really want to get it back up and throw it on a water piece. I already have a ground glass replacement wand that fits the unit, I think I got it from elev8. I still have all the original attachments also and the aqua tube thing.
