Hi guys

I've been following this site for a while now but have only just decided to make an account. I've stopped smoking for health reasons but would love to bring the green back into my life :).

I am looking to buy a dry herb vape and would like something relatively pen shape, such as the Inhilator or imag vape pen however I'm unsure...

I'm also looking at the Alpha from Goboof for home use but really need something a bit more inconspicuous for nights out and general public use.

I've never owned a vape before but would like to buy one soon. Does anybody have any recommendations?

:) cheerzios

Does anybody have a TVape?

Welcome to the site! (Or I should say, signing up)

To be honest, there isn't one true vape out there that fits the form factor of a standard ecig pen. If you use concentrates, you can find plenty of options, but dry flowers are a whole different ballgame.

There are some semi-stealth options on the market, but not many.

Good luck in your search. For the record, I currently use my Indica Vape when I need stealth. It's served me well driving in my car, walking in parks, and "stepping out" out the office for a brief walk around the neighborhood. The PAX is another stealth option, but it requires extensive maintenance to ensure proper operation, and I don't care for the flavor it produces (my other vapes taste way better than the Pax)

Thanks for your reply Ratchett. It's really difficult finding something without being able to try them first!

The Indica looks interesting, have you had it for long? It looks like it would get pretty hot in your hand, do you have any issues with that? Also, is it hard to clean as I'm looking for low maintenance...

Sorry, just thought I'd bombard you with questions :)

Thanks!

No I hadn't heard of that one, it looks pretty slick! Are you planning on smoking dry herbs in it? Can you update me on its performance if so? :)

Actually the Indica doesn't get anywhere near as hot as my Davinci Ascent vaporizer - I comfortable hold it in my medium sized hands while using it, only the flip top is visible to passerbys. Sure it's not a pen vape, but it's discrete enough for my needs.

I find the Indica to have quite a low maintenance requirements - it was the first vape I trusted to give to several of my friends who wanted a simple vape to start with.

From everything I've read it's got a "good enough" vibe. But I do plan on using the loose leaf cartridge. The reason I pulled the trigger this Friday was the sale on the holiday bundle. $70 for a decent vape seems like a steal.

Update: V2 just came in. First impressions are kind of what I expected. It's a pen that vapes. Not particularly tasty and a bit more effort to load and clean then I'm used to with my FF. But if you're looking for stealth or a dual ecig/vape this looks like a good way to go.

Arizer just came out with the Arizer Air. It's a small unit that looks similar to a large ecig. You use herb, but you probably could mix some herb with wax in the middle. Looks stealth in the black.

It's a nice unit that gives great vapor flavor and clouds. I'm happy with my Air so far. The price is $259 but there may be some Christmas sales. They just had it on sale right after Thanksgiving for $199.

The owner can change out batteries and buy extra. There will be a charging dock available soon for the batteries. For now you need to charge the batteries inside the unit.

I second the Air, I'm gonna get one asap to put next to my Solo :brow:

However one of my friends just got an Imag+ as he wanted something different; it pumps out lots of tasty vapor and IMO it's way superior to the PAX. Not bad for around $100

+ 1 Arizer Air. Reasonable stealth factor, hits hard, easy to use and maintain. Other than that, if you're willing to wait a bit, The Grasshopper looks very promising as a pen style herb vape. The only problem is you might have to wait a couple months to get your hands on one as they're still in the manufacturing process. Moreover, no one knows for sure about the performance and reliability of the Grasshopper at this point.

I ordered my Grasshopper about a year ago LOL... I hope they're getting close to shipping units! If this unit can do what the manufacturers say it can, it will be a game changer... A+ on the stealth factor with this one. Only time will tell..

The v2 pro 3 with the LL catridge gets it done, but the chamber is very small. If you don't use that much materials and use an e cig then the v2 might fit your needs. If you have high tolerance, then it would take a refill or 2 to get up there imo
