My precious through a lightly packed bowl of Mobidick having a bubble or two with various partners

Silly question: why would one want to filter this through water? Does it help with respitory problems? Make it more flavorful?

Do u guys think the battery issue would be a issue for me as im a light user? Also i was wondering if i take a couple hits at the most, can i turn off and come back to that bowl if needed. I usually only use at night because it helps me sleep.

Not if you're a light user. No problem at all. You'll get a full nights worth. You'll charge each morning so it's ready for your evening.

If you take your medicine like me you'll be golden. I usually start with 2-3 puffs. Power down. Wait 10-20 minutes. 2-3 puffs. Power down. Wait 10-20 minutes and once the sedation side starts I'll start turning up the temp and have longer sessions. By 9pm. Lights out. All is well. This approach definitely drains the battery big time but no evening has been met with a dreaded drained unit.

less flavorful and less medicated, other than that it's just as good..

No reason to unless you have a medical condition that makes you extra sensitive to vapor.

Humidifies and cools, + I love vaping through glass + gets me to a higher state

The hot vapour really irritates my throat but I must say though the vapor through the crafty is EXTRA's cool and smooth.

Also, I'd add to the previous replies that some people (myself included), just really prefer and enjoy the tradition and ritual of a water pipe. So I was really happy to see that video, simply because it's awesome and fun:clap:

Anyone settled in on temps they like? I tried max temp last night for my boost and the flavor wasn't so great but we did get a fair bit more vapor that way. Right now I'm sitting at 185C/200C, dont think I want to go beyond 200C mostly based on the flavor.
After plenty of fiddling about i like 185c and finishing at 210c if im out and about. Sometimes if im at home i like to start at 160c and push it up 10 degrees after every couple of hits and finishing at 210c. I cant make up my mind if doing it this way gets me a bit higher or not. I dont think it does.

:tup:Couple observations.

Maybe they are happy accidents, maybe Storz and Bickel really think it out this far, but for what it's worth...

The lamented quick card makes a pretty nice "catch/scoop" when you need to use the little hand grinder. The smooth laminated surface along with the permanent fold in the card are about perfect. Even the size fits well behind the foam padding in my pelican case I keep my kit in.

The brush is not only just the right stiffness to clean the Crafty, it's also very good at getting stubborn pieces of leftover herb out of the grinder. Perfect bristles for this.

Also, "Doob Tube" containers, make excellent brush covers for your on the go kit if you like keeping your brush clean and contaminant free. Just make sure you buy the kind where the cap screws around the outside, and not the kind where the top goes in like a cork. That kind is not quite long enough.

I admit it's been a long time since I've used a two pice plastic grinder. I've been using a coffe grinder for a long time. But I swear this little SnB plastic hand grinder will grind as fine as my coffe grinder does, and does it quickly. I would say just as well as the higher priced metal ones I tried before going to the coffe grinder.

Crafty is a very hot vape for me personally. Even with the cooling unit. I run it below its default setting and still see great vapor. I love that it is like this. I can run it comfortably for me, but it has the power to muscle up when I feel like it or when I'm vaping with a friend who likes the burn. I have at least one of those.

So far I'm still loving it and still finding cool little secrets that are revealing themselves with continued use. The one great fear I still have because of experiences with more than one other vape company ( hoping SnB's stellar rep will make this a non-factor) is just the general flakyness of some of these vapes. Electronicly especially. Working one minute. Fried the next. lol. Please be good to me Crafty.

A sweet bowl of OG Kush sesh in Extremely favorable lighting conditions!

In advance SORRY about the Annoying Fuckingaround trying to follow that beat! It’s that strain though it makes you do things ;) (actually my very first experience with the family “Kush”, and I like it I like it a lot)

OK disagree with me, I can't force you to be right

Doob tubes are perfect companions to the Crafty. Easy to dispense materials accurately. I find that 3/4 of the cap full is a perfect bowl size. Just flip it over into the bowl, tap it out, invert the cap and lightly tamp down the material and you are ready to go. Or you can just fill easily enough by eye without the cap.

Excellent. Love that you took it a step further. I'll give that a shot with my other tube that's lying around.

Do you like this better than the filling tool then?

Indeed I do. You can carry a couple of different strains in a couple of tubes, plus loading on the go is a lot easier...not all those parts and brushing. I can stop while I'm walking my dog and easily refill from the tube without having to keep track and attach lots of pieces. Open, dump, refill, close, go. Tube slips back into almost any pocket.

Is there a good side by side size comparison of the Crafty vs the firefly out there? I searched google, youtube and FC but couldn't find one.

Does the crafty LOOK as good as I think it does? Or is my vision blurred by what I know it can do

You know what? The crafty is a trip of A design. The first time I ever saw it I was like hell no. Today I am smitten by its design.
I marvel at it.
It's a dark and ominous looking device.
A megalith where my amygdala bows silently before it.
It enchants.
It's lines soothe.
It's cyborgic stare hypnotizes....

Good night.

Thanks Volteric. Somehow I missed that one. And I visit vape critic all the time too:doh:The firefly looks a good bit larger. I'm gonna have to save my pennies for the Crafty for sure.
