Please help. I am about to order my 1st piece ever from I think sunshine store a DO20 that looked really nice. I need something small/portable but w a good amount of diffusion; some on this site may know that I have to extra careful with my throat. It's for my new solo but the adapters I have ordered are for 18 mm (1 from planetvape and one from Ed) I hope I just wrote all that correctly. I have a beautiful big doughboy and an evo sidecirc so I think the DO20 will be a nice addition. Who is the best to order from and is there any particular one that is 6-8 inches high. Don't I need one that's 18 mm?

Can't everyone tell that I still have no clue what I'm doing? But I did learn the solo pretty fast - I just can't seem to hook her up yet and everyone on the solo site seems to love their solos and their water toys!!

Skip the D020 - for your throat, the D020 does not smooth out the hit enough. Go for the D020-D or the GB187 instead

I got myself this one just being shipped. It's 4" in size so around 10cm only. That will be my pocket piece !
Just notice that the picture on top and down, the neck isn't the same. We will see.

I have a ceramic that I got from Kathy0577 for about $10. I can't speak for durability because it hasn't seen hard use. The flavor is good. It has a lot of mass (male) takes a bit to heat up. It does hold heat pretty good though. Just a kiss of flame and ready for the next dab.

Shout out to my friend Ratchett - do you roll your eyes when you see my post and think to yiurself "how many times do I have to link her to this site?" lol. You are the most paitent - and yes I will just follow the blue link road. No, I'm not senile yet but I have probably killed a few brain cells by now so I need that gentle redirection.

I'm still learning the solo and I love her but in the end the exhale beast is still heavy weight champion of the world.

Alright, not sure if this is where I should post this, please correct me if I'm wrong.

I saw all the bubblers on dhgate and had to get one.
To stick with the theme I added black diffuser beads so it looks like black coffee in the cup. They greatly improve the consistency of the airstream and make for a little smoother hit.
The ceramic nail represents milk, I guess. Normally the milk doesn't just sit in a cylinder on top of your cup, but whatever..
Finally you can use shatter and pretend it's caramel syrup. Which, you then add onto your insanely hot solid milk cylinder. Yup, that's how coffee works.

Starbucks bubbler 14mm male : $34.10
Ceramic nail 18/14mm female: $9.55
Diffuser beads : $13
Quartz cap will probably be replaced by a ceramic cap that's in the mail : $9.44
Total : $66.09

For the milk video I didn't do a low temp dab with carb cab, since everyone only cares about the thick smoke.


For the people that are all about using as little water as possible, here is how much water was in the cup. You could definitely do it with only 2/3 of that amount.

@ConstanlyConcentrated That's the 14mm. This should work with the 10mm, unless the straw is smaller. I put all the diffuser beads in there through the straw, if it was any tighter they wouldn't fit.

I bought it from the link I put up there. That vendor is Chinaaaron. It took forever to get shipped. I send a message and the vendor said they were out and waiting on the next delivery, 2 days later it got shipped and arrived 10 days later. Quality is good enough for me and I didn't mind the wait really.

i tried to buy a buy one get one free starbucks cup that was listed 99% off, it was less than a dollar. seller said it was a glitch and changed the price to $90+

lol, i didnt pay. fuck that, the perc sucks compared to the hitman/evol percs

For all I care it could be a simple 1 hole perc, with the diffuser beads it doesn't matter. They give you nice, smooth, cold hits. Can't get any colder without putting the bubbler in the freezer or really tiny crushed ice.

It depends as I prefer the D020 over the GB187 any day of the weak WHEN using the solo, with the GB187 the restriction is just that great that after 3 to 4 seconds I start gasping for air, the flow of the D020 is, out of all my pieces of glass, the only one I find acceptable to use. But hey, we're all different.

Isn't this entire thread about finding the best counterfeits... Chinese Knockoffs = Counterfeits.
Heck, most even have the same logos as the actual companies.

Knockoffs (copies) are not the same as counterfeits. Counterfeits are an attempt to deceive the buyer into thinking their product is made by the original designer and they are just getting a great price on it. Copies (without labels) could be considered an homage but mostly are considered someone else s attempt to recreate an existing design. There is no subterfuge.

That doesn't keep a retailer from lying about it, but most originals would include the logo and a logoless piece is more easily identified as a copy...

With that perc and the shape of the MP that actually looks more like it might be the original, but as it is meant to sell the copy it should go too. I'm betting it just got past the mod cleaning up the thread.

Edit: It is very common for DHGate vendors to put a photo of the original in their description of their copy. We may see that as dishonest, but their culture has different rules. To a great extent, the Chinese even ignore patents and trademarks, illegal here but not there. We can only control what we control. The mods control this site and are trying to do right by the artists while helping us buy glass that would certainly be out of the price range of many here.

That's what I'm saying. Some of these pieces, being sold in lots of 50+ are going to smoke/glass shops who are selling them to unsuspecting buyers for $100's more. Glass shops have china glass with "RooR" logo's all the time. It's one of the more common knock off logo's. Most people who don't even know dhgate and other knock-off markets for bongs exist, just think they are getting good deals.

Maybe there isn't as much deceit in the no label copies, but the knock off Mobius pieces (which often have lables, and sometimes the "correct" labels at that)are definitely bad for the original creator of the design. A lot of people are buying these knock-offs, who would've otherwise paid a lot more, to the actual creator, had there not been a cheap, slightly lower quality copy out there. Nobody wants their product copied to pay homage to them, if they aren't getting a share of the profit. It's basically stealing.

Where is the line drawn? When the copy is so poorly made that it barely resembles the original? When there is no logo? Both? Faulting some counterfeiters more than others based on skill is kinda funny if you ask me. :rofl:

That would be pretty fast. After this last session I won't indulge until Friday. It would be so fun so I could put everything together and see how the bubbler does with the adapters and the new solo.
