Yeah, I used aquarium silicone on a couple of pin holes from Kathy orders, so far haven't had to re-apply yet so I am guessing all is well. You can't even really see where it's applied, I was careful not to over apply. Let it cure the full time it says on the package. Mine came from amazon in a couple of days.

good news, looks like I may be placing the double vortex order tomorrow :D :D

Id rather have this then the sidecar. Little diffusion as possible.

Do you guys think for the most part vendors all get there glass from a lot of same sources or are some vendors pieces actually higher quality and blown in their own factory. Sometimes I think there are slight differences in the bongs between vendors but that could just be me.

An example is the double barrel I linked above. Is this the same one as other vendors recycler or to me it seems to have some minor changes in previous ones I have seen.

I dont know what's different but it seems different and better quality. What differences did you notice

I think there's a handful of blowers out there that sell their glass to many vendors on the site. In general, each blower does their own models, so if you see 50 vendors with the same glass piece, most likely it was made by the same vendor.

HOWEVER In the past such as the case with the original D020 - once it gained popularity, several knockoffs came about (and I still see several on Dhgate), they looked very similar to the original D020, but the build quality was way worse than the OG, clearly made by a different factory (funny, one chinese company copying the design from another vendor, way to steal your OWN designs for once!)

I haven't heard of any differences like that with the Double Barrel, so it's probably safe to assume it was made at the same factory.

Actually, come to think of it, here's a piece which I've seen at least 4 or 5 different versions:

They all have the same price, and look similar, though the vortex bulge near the mouthpiece changes shape - sometimes I see them smaller and more round, sometimes I see them long like this one. Also the recycler output is sometimes on the bottom of the rig, and sometimes raised up slightly like this one.

Here's a VERY similar piece, with a different perc - they could have been made at the same factory, but the pictures and build quality are different enough that one could have been a copy from the other

Don't think the sidecar really affects diffusion itself. But, I don't yet have any glass with exact same diffusion and a sidecar vs. straight MP (tho imagine many of us will soon with new FC-187 ;)), so hard to say for certain. Even my D020 and D020-W are just a bit different - but no noticeable effect due to sidecar vs. straight.

Do think a sidecar can help much in keeping diffusion low, though. With my nano on any of my sidecar pieces I can glance down and see the action. This is great for adjusting draw and "tweaking" diffusion as you like. Also, avoids some of the learning curve with a new piece. Just got my GB-187 and definitely not hard to get the hang of, but hard to tell initially if bubbling just how I like without a mirror. Have actually hit it a few times in front of mirror already, and now have it down pat.

Other pieces can allow you to watch the bubbles, too. My inline triple donut is a good example. But, if you want a nice cylindrical can (esp. with a Dewar joint), seems sidecar is the best way to watch.

For me, mad bubble stacking isn't really a good thing until the clear. But, if you like a chamber full of bubbles and aren't concerned as much about flavor (or don't think diffusion has any effect on flavor), I don't think a sidecar will increase or decrease diffusion. Just set it up like you normally do and draw like crazy. The advantage of the sidecar would be you get to see all those bubbles more.

I thought about that too. Decided not to even considering ordering anything until I see if I get anything better than a $10 coupon once the promo ends.

Getting your customers to hold off buying for two weeks is not the best way to drum up holiday sales. Ha!

My GB-242 from yingmin is out for delivery. I used my $5 coupon last Wednesday to purchase. That's 8 days from China to Tennessee. Amazing! Its going to beat the drop down I ordered the same day from the states.

Planning to buy one from the first batch, who knows if all of them will look as nice as this

Ya, when i won a $5 and $10 coupon that did not show in my account, of course, I asked customer support about it. They had the nerve to ask if I taken a pic of turkey when I won the coupons. I should have replied sure good thing I randomly take screen shots all the time just in case i need them. I was assured it would be taken care of friend. I have been holding my breath since...

@t-dub started this thread, I'd heard of RB before that but it was the first generation formula (green). T-dub brought to our attention that there was a new pink/red formula that worked much better, :tup:.

@Roger D started experimenting with Cranberry Powder, but it wasn't until user @Fulvic found Nature's Answer Alcohol Free Cranberry Extract that they found a cheaper alternative, :bowdown:.

Thanks to hanfhead correction, it was @Vaporgin that found the D-020 but it was @jambandphan03 that first order from DHGate.com and one of the first to review the D-020.

My how this thread as snowballed since then.

I think a lot of people would like to see a regular style Klein with a 18mm FEMALE joint for $40-$50. Kleins with female joints seem almost impossible to find at a decent price.

Not sure if this is possible but if the seller can make an incycler Klein I'm assuming they can make a normal Klein as well :) maybe even the donut style that doughboy was going to do. I'd buy a handful for sure!!

A fab egg with a female joint would be sick too but that may be pushing it as I'm sure those are definitely not easy to make.

And idk about others but I've always wanted a Swiss perc rig or bubbler of some sort so I'm with @Cannabis Connoisseur about the Swiss perc recycler.

Hey @jambandphan03 did you ask before hand if they had clear or did you just put a note in the comments section during checkout?

I think they only have the one with black drips but if they have clear I'm ordering one now lol.
