Just ordered mine. A little nervous after reading a post a few spots above claiming his battery has already went to shit.

I didn't went to shit .... it was already.....

it arrived that way, something in the electronics is faulty. it's not the battery.
it doesn't charge correctly and it does not come up to desired temp. it just stops somewhere in the middle of heating....!

anyways, i managed to vape a bowl full @200C, and I am NOT impressed.....just hope because it's broken.....
...sending it in. :(:(:(:(:(:(:(:( 10-14 days wasted.

Honestly I am in shock. I can't believe how this thing performs. Doing my first session with it now paired with some Bubba. Amazing device. Absolutely glad that I got it.

Smaller than my note 3. The auto off is strange at first, but I don't mind it since it heats up so quickly. While I draw I can see the temp drop about 5 to 7 c.. so that keeps it on longer without a button press for me. I think I got around 30 hits off that 1 load before it got too wispy for my taste.

JUST..

FC, I need some help. I can't figure out how to disassemble the cooling portion of the vape. I tried following but the instructions but I can't get it and I'm afraid I'll use too much force and break something. How often does everyone clean theirs?

The Mighty/Crafty is tougher then you might think. The mouth piece needs to be pulled up and out and it takes some force.
The bottom portion can be pulled out once the top slide is pulled towards the mouth piece, a pre heat and some dry puffing ( or not so dry, lol) will warm up the resin and seals to make it easier to pull apart, just make sure you let it cool a tad before grabbing the screen area to pull apart.

Thanks, I tried but I couldn't get it. Do I need to move the switch thing?

yes slide the mighty logo the only way it will go, then in one side pry it off then the other side. That unlocks it.
So before I move the cap lock I need to remove the mouthpiece? And to remove the mouthpiece I move it 90 degrees to the right?

Here's the step by step (from my Crafty).

For someone who had a solo/air and a nano. I would like to know how this device stacks up in terms of vapor quality and density. And how long the battery is good for, for high tempvapers.

The Vapecritic has a video on it too.
Sorry I can't provide the link at this time, I'm busy at work.

Thanks everyone for the help! Finally got it.

I have to say i'm kind of surprised you have to use so much force with the mouthpiece. I know it's s&b but im worried about the durability of it, it's just a piece of plastic.

I wouldn't worry that much about it. The cooling unit is 22 bucks. In fact I picked up an extra one for my Crafty. Nice to have on hand in case of a mishap.

Not sure about the Nano but I had a Hot Pod which is quite similar but doesn't retain heat as good and a few Solos for a long time.

I wouldn't even touch a Solo after getting my Crafty cause the hits with the Crafty are just superior in every possible way. Taste is better, airflow is wide open, less effort, bigger clouds, more potent clouds, they hit you much harder than the Solo, better taste to the end, more even extraction, faster extraction blah blah blah!!! The list can go on!

And the temp accuracy easily gives it the edge over a log vape. First time I really know my temps! Sweet!

I'll disagree. Comparing the Mighty to a log vape is apples n oranges. The flavor from the convection on a log vape BLOWS the Mighty or any vape out of the water!!! Temps readings aren't a big issue for me. I gauge my temp by my abv color and have never had a problem yet. This is my humble opinion of course. I'm a log vape guy what can I say.

As far as the solo be the Mighty. The solo has better taste IMO. I'm a fan of convection. I put a nug in my solo stem tight so it doesn't fall into the oven and I get pure convection. But in every single other aspect batt life, charging, bowl size, sesh length, etc. Mighty wins alllllll day.

This machine is fantastic I'm glad I mad the purchase!!

I can't lie I am a big convection fan but i'm trying to get an idea of what i would expect from something like the mighty to complement the rest of what's in my collection.

Don't get me wrong the Mighty does produce nice tasty dense vapor. Just not like my nano. If this two were side by side I'd pick up the nano every time. But to equal the bowl of the mighty I'd be picking it up ALOT haha.

As far as portables go tho this is the one for sure. IMO the solo is a hassle to deal with. I'm not a huge fan but others will die with it clutched in their hands. I'd personally rather be holding my Mighty.

The conduction/convection is pretty badass. You get the dense vapor from the conduction and the yummies from the convection. It's the best of both worlds. I will also admit playing with the temps is fun but costly of the battery lol. The battery is crazy long so that not really and issue either.

good to know! it would be awesome to have the opportunity to try one out.

i'm really intrigued but might wait a while on it, after the evo i'm really hesitant to spend even crafty levels of $ on a vape.

I hear you @exit i was in the maket for a vape at this price point. I thought about the evo but I have 2 nanos and a UD that should be arriving today.(too bad I'm 300 miles away from home:bang:)

Anyway so now the choices were minivap and mighty. Clearly the mighty won lol. I've never tried the minivap, which is a convection vape. The mighty just had more features and is a lot more versatile IMO. And I hear the taste isn't far off so it was clear to me.

I wish there was a way to try a vape before purchase but if that was the case there would be no point of this forum haha long live FC!!!

The mouth piece will pop out in any position, it is just a compression fit.

The top slide does not have to be pried off to remove the bottom section per the instructions, it only has to slide towards the mouth piece to unlock the bottom.

The parts and blue gaskets make a tight seal so it takes some effort and wiggling to get the parts seperates and a resin build up will make it even more difficult.

The conduction aspect of the Crafty/Mighty is too minimal to affect taste as far as I can tell from my little experience. When you draw it's almost pure convection. Conduction just plays the role of keeping the load warm and happy between hits. *EDIT* Something you don't get with logs where you have to heat the load again. Not saying it's better, it's just faster. Faster extraction. And more even!
Yes, if you make big pauses between hits you will cook the load and have some funny taste but Crafty is not for this kind of usage. Crafty is all about fast extraction. If you want a sipper get a Vapman or a Lotus or a Firefly!
Solo suffers from the same exact issue and it has one more big surface than the Mighty to transfer heat by conduction and that is the bottom of the heater. If you leave the stem in between hits you get a lot of conduction and a foul taste. More so than the Mighty. The biggest drawback of the Solo is that it's little heater can't handle a lot of airflow. So you need longer draws and more effort to get a good hit. Tha Mighty acts more like a desktop and you can really suck hard...

...
Lol I think you meant get a SOLO! It can sip for days....as a former lotus owner I would expect you to know it is the epitome of fast extraction, 2-3 huge hits and done.....I can do the same with vapman and firefly(when it was working;)).

But back to mighty, got to try one the other day.....yes, like crafty, it is one of the hardest hitting portables.
But comparisons to E-Nanos should probably be refrained from, although I'm still waiting on a nano, AC Heat retention+pure convection>conv/cond-hybrid battery heat (no matter how even) all day.
