After using the V2 carts a while I've found them to be average at best. Can't get big clouds like a glass globe set up plus the cost is ridiculous. I've recently been using my Ego VV battery with a glass globe and a wickless ceramic rod atomizer. So far this is the best set up yet. There is no concerns about burning the silica wicks (they're aren't any wicks) which produce a better taste. They definitely produce huge hits and seem to last longer than the wicked atomizers. For ease of use and quickness the glass globe setup is hard to beat.

I have a hard time believing that the ORB is using better materials than the KISS....but I could be wrong. The design looks dope. They should do a double coil on the KISS, it would be perfect, no more scooping oil back onto the coil.

I do agree that the V2 carts from Gentleman's are a dissapointment. What was more dissapointing was their lack of support and customer service, I have so many tickets that went unanswered. The fact that @THC SCIENTIFIC is so active with customers, it makes me much more confident in the company, and certainly a reflection of the product. The KISS is my favorite cartridge hands down, I started off hating it because I had bad luck...i take it all back, its the BEST. Everything else, including V2, just tastes bad. They taste like they are off-gassing something (metal, plastic, something!) into the vapor. Especially with cheap atomizers, I can't even hit the cheap pens my friends have because it has got to be bad for you to inhale. I worry about the materials a lot of these people use, something must be off-gassing and it can't be good for you to be inhaling! Nobody knows whats going to happen if you have been vaping on cheap metal and plastic for 10 years...your brain will have some issues for sure.

I would say that the KISS and ORB materials are equal. the first orb i got had soso coils, but the second time i ordered they were much more straightened out. My post was a little messed up in order - when comparing tastes I mean the orb was much better than the gents v2. When comparing it to the KISS it tastes exactly the same, not really better or worse. I have also tried the ruvaped TI coils and these do not taste as good as the KISS/ORB. I have not researched it that well but I do know that KISS and ORB both use GR2 TI, and ruvaped does not specify, at least as far as i could find.

Ordered a Glass Globe from Gentleman's, and upon receiving it noticed that the firing pin allows no airflow through the base thread piece of the unit, therefore making it unusable, even though it does heat up correctly. Vapor just pools in the cup around the coil but can not be drawn through the mouthpiece due to this vacuum that is created. Anyone else have this problem? I am using just the glass globe, not the viceroy kit. I prefer a VV battery, and so am using a iTaste MVP 2.0, which should work fine and is playing no part in this problem. Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions here. I have also entered into a customer service ticket conversation with Josh, their "tech guy", a few days ago, but am thinking that a solution may be faster here.

why would they ship a device that is engineered badly enough not to function? Wouldn't that get caught somewhere along the production line? smh...

And lastly, if the pin is removed from the device (as in that last photo) - PLENTY of airflow. But, of course, with no firing pin, the device does not heat up. That is just how I know that the firing pin is causing the problem...

Also, just to be sure it was not being caused by the battery, I attempted to use the globe on an EVOD VV, as well as an eGO twist with the same results.

Your images won't load on my phone but is there any way you could grind a flat spot or air channel into the firing pin with a dremel without making it unable to be put back in?

Perhaps, if I had the tools/desire to do so. Since my last post, Gentleman's sent me another unit, of which still has a flat firing pin but does work properly though. So, the flow must pass through the sides of the inner cylinder somehow. But, this flow must have been somehow blocked on the faulty unit I initially received. More insight would be appreciated. I also now do not know if drilling such hole would even provide the necessary airflow.

I'd pull out both pins compare the differences if there aren't any differences I'd assume it was the where they fit in that was erroneous and check both carts for differences then find a way to make the faulty one match the good one

I checked for differences as much as I could, but didn't find anything visable to the naked eye. However, I must acknowledge that the walls of the inner cylinder, when looking at the device from underneath, is not really visable. Also, the firing pins can even be interchanged, and both work, as long as they are in the thread base unit that was included as part of the replacement unit.

If they both work in the replacement the problem is with the original base unit there must be some manufacturing defect causing the problem

I just bought two of the V2 Mega cartridges a couple of weeks ago, they arrived last week and I got excited to try them and first one I primed following the directions exactly! I fired it up for the three seconds they said after filling the ceramic part with oil, I then put in a big glob of oil and fire it up....got a small puff of smoke and it was DEAD!!!

I wrote email and they say the will send me another, I asked for info on what the heck just happened and was given links to some videos that did not match my situation at all for using OIL and instead the directions were saying stuff like priming the bottom of the cartridge also but I know that must be fricken wrong, I report this problem to him that the link to the V2 mega oil directions is wrong and they acknowledge and since then have not replied with any new instructions.

I have a second unit, so I search the fricken web because these guys are obviously too busy to reply after I just bought to units and I found these
http://gentlemansbrand.freshdesk.co...16-detailed-oil-cartridge-priming-and-filling

I then folow these instructions again, attempt to prime the fricken thing and load it up with the amount of oil they say, probably more and attempt to prime it with the first firing...I start counting 1....2...poof and the coil goes dim again and the second unit is fricken pooched and also does not work now.

I'm not sure what to say, I had high hopes for these and I am a MMAR patient and usually use an EGO battery with a small ceramic wick burner and a bulb cover and they outperform these things by miles, they last me over a month!!!

I'm not sure what is the problem with these but I just had two units fail and when I began asking for instructions for use to confirm I was doing thing right I was pointed to links that went to wrong videos and also even though I followed the printed instructions that came with the units and the instruction I posted above both units are now dead.

I'm willing to work with the company to resolve this and really don't want to say anything bad BUT two units sent to me are dead after priming using the directions they provided, I never have to prime my other coils like this and simply load them with oil or shatter and they work fine...not sure what the problem is so if Gentlemans Vape's are reading this maybe answer your email otherwise I'll just do a chargeback and look for another product.

The guy that replied to my initial emails signed them with "lyric" if that helps

Just an update to this story, Gentlemanvapes has given me a refund for my problems and had this to say below. I'm thankful for the refund and them finally replying and now I understand why my emails were not being answered right away however I still have no answer as to why they even failed like that in the first place.

I can say without a doubt that the small ceramic burners with a wick I use work and don't just fail first use, the ones I have I have also removed the wick and done the same sort of priming and had them last a month or more so I have no idea why these failed...perhaps others had good results but I didn't.

I can say the product looks great and is packaged nice however that all means nothing if they don't work at all.

If I could change one thing about this product it would be the coil size, the burners I use that are ceramic with a coil and wick cost less than a couple of bucks each BUT the wire on the coil is probably twice as thick as these...the coils on these are very thin and even if they would have worked I can't honestly seen them last more than a couple of weeks if that, I would not recommend these are all for MMAR patients like myself that may need to medicate multiple times a day.

The email I received.

Hi XXXXXXX,

I'm sorry. I'm abroad right now and the internet availability is sporadic. I refunded you $43.90 for the purchase. However shipping is nonrefundable (especially as we had to mail replacements internationally as well.)

Thank you and I hope that helps!

I've used the v2 for several months but after my first one (which worked great for a couple months) the rest of them 6 or so I can't remember have all lasted days instead of months. I didn't change anything but after a few crapped out batteries I opted for a different brand, but it all burns the same.

Would like to know of an oil cartridge I can actually get some time out of. I don't like the idea of unvaped oil in dead cartridges. Especially after a couple days of use.

Hey guys! Ordered a Gentlemans Glass Globe and 2 replacement nails during the black friday sale. I see now that they arent the best reviewed company. I cant find much info on the globe, really dont expect much other than for it to work properly. Im thinking you just put wax in it and press the button on your battery? I guess Im hoping for tips or experience with this attachment. Thanks!

The gent's carts are a-ight
I drop crumble on the coil and pulse the power so it melts into the cup and put more crumble on top and vape away.
One load gives me 6-12 hits. Variable sizes.

Good stuff, but i upgraded to a KISS cart recently... still enjoy the gent's attys but, the taste is better on the KISS
Gent's gets a 7/10
good stuff, it'll get you high. convenient and portable and stealthy.

So I ordered on the 30th of nov. and wrote them on 12/5 asking where it was? They wrote back and said they had a problem with an employee and hadnt shipped yet. I orginally got a tracking number even though its 1st class mail. That same number was then updated from label printed to package arrived and then left facility that night. Est. delivery was monday. Still nothing after getting mail again today. I wrote and said id dispute if no package today, but i just realized I used cc. Am I fucked? I dont even think they sent anything and just used a bogus tracking #. Done ranting.

hi guys,

im trying to find a cart or vapeorizer that can store large amounts of wax. i dont like loading tiny bits at a time. i came across this v2 hash oil cart, says it can hold 0.5g which is perfect for me. but how is the performance? and how do you load it? do you put the wax right in or fo you have to melt it so it drips in?

also will a dr dabber battery work with it? im confused about the whole thread thing. what is 510? ego? 610?

510 thread.
Just put concentrate down middle n add your mouth tip.
It's the style U need to heat to get wax to melt n fall down to the coil.

Imo. I want something that can hold that amount but problem is as soon as you take your second dose. U pretty much have already

Loving my Mega V2. I'm on my second one as I turned the voltage too high and shorted out the first. No problems since then, I throw about .5g of crumble in at a time.

Great Scott!
Yeah. They sent me a message on reddit a while back asking if I wanted to try it. I asked what was in it and for lab results and that I needed to know what I was inhaling but I'd love to try. Never got another reply.
