How recent is that new app? I wonder if it will fix that no heat issue some of us were having..

and jealous of the lid

It appears that the new lid will also eliminate the dirty screen issue. Hard to tell in the shot but the screen seems to go around the perimeter now. It looks well thought out, can't wait to hear some feedback.

Hello my friends!

Here is a DIY chamber lid stirrer I made until I receive mine.

Simply add an extra lid screen an bend 2 ends up to mix your meds without having to remove your lid.

I do notice I put less in the chamber as well, literally a pinch will give me 3 great draws off each 3 settings. I also have my temps set very low with great effects!

I use #1, #4, and #7.

I do find however that the moisture content of your medication will determine the best temps to use.

I will vape on temp setting #1, then just spin the lid 180 degrees for setting #2, then back to where it should be for setting #3.

Setting #1

Setting #2

Setting #3

Or your can simply twist the lid like a grinder to stir the chamber without having to remove the lid.

I should hopefully have the stirring lid from Joe this week as well as the new app to try.

I will be sure to keep you guys posted as soon as I know anything about either.

How do you Contact joe? I tried emailing him from the email on the box and I haven't heard anything.
The coil doesn't heat up when the battery is around or below 70. plugging it in seems to work for a draw or two but that's it

I ordered an ESV last week by email, but it looks like their spam filter started rejecting my messages (after my order was shipped, luckily!) I tried emailing again yesterday and that message was rejected as well.

From earlier posts in the thread, it sounds like the software (at least in older versions) can be way off on the battery levels, so it's possible that your "70" actually represents a fully discharged battery…?

I wonder how we can reach him then..

whenever the coil stops heating at around 70% the light still turns on as if I'm taking a draw. Also the amount of hits it take to drop down to 70 from 100 seems reasonable.. Otherwise I wouldn't mind the 'faulty' battery reading.

The light still comes on but not enough power to get the coil hot left in the battery. One of the quirks of this vape, hard to see the depleted battery coming

Hey guys!. Sorry for the late post I received my stirring lid today. I used it 5 times and it kicks ass!
Here are a few quick pics for you guys.

The new stirring chamber lid is absolutely awesome!
I haven't put my Elevape down in 6 days.
The instant draw is absolutely amazing! Instant gratification is awesome!
Why is there not more buzz about this vaporizer?:hmm:
It is in a class by itself! Get the coil adjusted right and your golden!
I received the ESV to review and could not be happier with the ESV!
I'm getting a good 10 tasty vapor draws at 305F with the stirring lid and only using a pinch, about .03gs!
I am so spoiled with the instant draw now, and the efficiency and taste!
Hopefully the new app will be sweet.

The elevape is my absolute new favorite portable! Especially with the stirring lid.

1. how do you operate the stirring lid from outside unit without opening the lid, a video would be cool.

2. does the ESV now ship std with the stirring lid or is that an upgrade option bought separately

Wonder if the stirring mechanism just screws onto a standard cap. It looks functional that's for sure. The perimeter screen would help guide the hot air towards the edge of the bowl. Wonder how often it will need cleaning. Glad to hear the first report on it being thumbs up. Thanks vape dr!

Do you have the same amount of herb build up on the new stir lid?
Now that the screen part is smaller, does the airflow decrease faster when dirty?

On another note, I dropped my elevape to the floor the other day (rough concrete) and
the SV brushed it off like it was nothing, still working like a charm. Only a few
scuffs but I like it this way even more.

I should have mine in service today (plus the new stirring lid). I had the battery problem with my first unit and then screwed up my coil transfer when I went to swap it out.

New coil and lid should arrive today via the U.S. Postal service. They must have been pretty backed up because it was supposed to be here yesterday.

I have been drooling over this vape since before it came out so I'm pretty excited!

I have to say once again that Joe has been such a pleasure to deal with. Had it not been for him this vape might just be stuck in my drawer. Looking forward to having it 100%!

As of now stir lid is to be a separate accessory I believe. Waiting to hear about mine

Glad your enjoying it @Vape Dr. ! I knew you would be amazed by this little guy once you got the opportunity, its design is nothing short of revolutionary in my opinion, and the hits are incredible. Everytime i come back to hit my Elevape after using my other vapes i am amazed by the hits! Nice to hear that the metals used in the new lid still allow the low temps to be used effectively!

Oh also did you and @scottg402 start a review blog together?! Fantastic to have some authentic quality reviews out there for the mainstream to find from such a trusted source! Hopefully it will help amazing vapes like Elevape, Indica, and Haze take off like they should!

@chillersnov8p, to install the stir tool you unscrew the allen screw holding the chamber lid screen on and replace the allen screw with the stirring lid, it is threaded on the bottom.
Like this.

@Belgianvapor, there is less herb build up and the airflow is still the same, there are holes around the perimeter as well.
Awesome about your ESV being ok!
They are built to last, that's for sure.
You can remove the chamber lid screen as well, like this, Works just as good!

This pic was with the screen on, I just took the screen out to show you.
It was that dirty under the screen.
I am testing the stirring lid with no chamber lid screen now.
I will be back with the results!

All my experiments without a chamber lid screen were a fiasco.
The herbs always went up into the lid and clogged the airpath, hardly any vapor.

@Belgianvapor With the stirring lid the flat disk covers most of the chamber lids screen so its not nearly as much as an issue as just removing the screen and allen screw.

So far I have found with and without the screen using the stirring lid top both work great.

@Belgianvapor, I just cleaned my Elevape. I will use it today and let you know the results and get some pics for you to see tonight.

The stirring lid is AWESOME GUYS AND GALS!!! A must have IMPO!!!

I LOVE MY ELEVAPE!!!

Nice to see the elevape get some love. In seriously getting some vas now haha

@vapeppau I totally agree with you!
The Elevape smart is one of the most advanced and efficient vaporizers on the market.

I don't understand why there is not more talking going on in this thread. I have had my ESV for about 2 weeks and I love it!!!!!
The instant draw is a huge game changer in the portable vaporizer market, I'm spoiled by it now!

Lets all post our experience with our ESV! Good or bad.
The Elevape deserves much more recognition than it has right now.
I've taken my ESV apart well over a dozen times to play around with the coil, clean it, and just because its so easy and fun!

@Belgianvapor so far with no chamber lid screen, just the stirring lid I've gone through 3 very lightly filled (not packed at all) chambers and all is well so far! Great taste and vapor. I am getting 8-10 tasty vapory draws from literally a pinch (doesn't register on scale) I would guess .03g.
It is amazing, especially at 305-310F!

Here is a pic of the stirring lid after 3 chambers, I did not brush it off, I just give it a quick blow on the stirring lid.

This is the amount I'm using.

I love how efficient the Elevape smart is! Almost seems unreal!
How is everyone else achieving their best results with the ESV?
I would love to hear!!!

I think I don't talk much in here because... it works.

I'm still on my first bottom screen, first coil, first ... well, I do have more mouthpiece screens, and lid screens, than I did before (thanks, Joe!). I've updated to the PC software app that has the temps listed, so that's been fun.

I rarely stir my bowls, to be honest. After three or four heavy pulls (5 or 6 if I'm at 325F), I might open the lid, poke my fingernail in there and shift things about a bit, to see if anything looks too charred, then I just replace the lid and continue.

I use this thing heavily for out-and-about, and for my medication break(s) at work. At home, I have a couple of heavy hitters, so I rarely use it. I plug it in most evenings, and toss it in my purse in the morning.

Best part of this vape, is I can TOSS IT IN MY PURSE. Sure, it weighs a small demi-ton, but it's unbreakable, for all intents & purposes. Nothing I have to worry about scratching, or losing (except the mouthpiece, and I fixed that!), or dumping anything out.

How I fixed the mouthpiece: I have some other little screens (could actually be the old style screens from my Nano!) that are just a bit larger than the stock screens from Elevape. I use the mouthpiece to force the larger screen to bend enough to go in the hole, then I seat the mouthpiece very firmly... and the wiggle is gone! it's not trying to fall out anymore. I think my mouthpiece hole tolerance is at the largest, and the mouthpiece itself is the opposite. sigh.

I'd love to see better, nicer, and/or custom mouthpieces for this. Not sure what, no. Maybe colors? glass for purists? wood? I'd Love wood, but it's such a small item.

Anyway, there you go. I did just clean up my ESV this afternoon, after coming home from work. I took it all apart (no, not the electronics part, duh), and washed the pieces in dishsoap and water, dried them, put them all back together (fresh screens), and there it is. Easy as can be. Nothing special required. I do really like it.
