I was going to order one of these off of W9, but I guess the consensus here is to hold off for a little bit. I just want to know how soon they would actually start shipping these new and improved units, because if I've gotta wait a month for the newer version then that isn't going to happen haha.

I dont think it depends on mainstreamness, when the first user reported getting his arizer air that thread went to the normal portable section. As far as I know, I can order an imag+ right now.......
Now, I've the Imag+ for more or less one Month.
I must say this device is great, it works perfectly and no one knows what I'm Vaping, I love it.
There are some little issues I don't like, but I can live with it:
Session-Time: the session-time, it is almost to short for me
Battery Indicator: there is no battery indicator, you don't know how much battery you still have, this is the major problem for me, you should take care...
Mouthpiece: The mouthpiece is not really good, the mouthpiece would be very hot (take care), this small holes on the mouthpiece got be blocked or covered soon, just keep they clean.
My VapeSession:
I use to do 2 Blue Sessions (190°), and then 2 Green Sessions (210°), (don't like the Red Session 230°) , after them, I'm nicely medicated :-)

Its a Chinese vape thing, it took FlowerMate a long while to get out of the candidates section. Probably something to do with mods learning about the companies before moving them, and the Imag has not quite been perfected for true mass production just yet. Divine Tribe has been in thread candidates for a while despite selling many products as well...

Well, I will definitely be investing in one of those MP's. Is it a custom request from Ed's? Id love one of those in black to go with the black Imag+ I ordered.

Ed works with all kinds of wood. Colours just depend on his stock but he definitely works with some black woods. You can always hit up @Snappo for a piece of exotic wood as well.

That Ed sure is a master of his craft. That mouthpiece is beautiful, I was about to buy an imag+, but I'll wait for the new one and still get a mouth piece. That's too nice to pass up.sorry for being late seeing as how Imag is coming up with another Imag+, but here are pics of my Imag+ with Eds wooden MP
There isn't any draw resistance like the old MP, and this one is one solid piece and not 2 also the screen is removable..

Im going to immediately try using different mouthpieces when I get the unit, not even going to mess with using the stock one. Ed is a little backed up right now, but I'll eventually get one of his as well. If I can get anything to work I'll definitely post it up here.

The stock MP should work fine until you figure out an alternative. I would advise not to use the red setting frequently and don't twist the MP while it's on. Eds handling things, but if you look through the thread, other members posted alternative MPs using other vapes

Yeah, I was looking at those to kinda judge on what to do. I also really kinda wanted a shorter glass mouthpiece with a bit less draw resistance so was planning on screwing around anyway. Gonna first try the Flowermate glass mouthpiece with some high temp silicon O-Rings. Looks like it might fit fairly well actually.

We're also working hard on the commerical release of IMAG PEN (mini version of IMAG PLUS) and IMAG 2(with 510 threading).
CLOUDV has already rebranded IMAG PEN as CLOUDV Phantom Mini.
in the future, for new product, we'll keep rebranding as few as possible and make sure that for same product, the features and configurations are different between the rebranded version and the version of our own brand IMAG. In this way, both the consumers who buy from rebranded vendors such as CLOUDV, GHOST, XMAX and from our brand IMAG will be satisfied.
Another thing, in our new product IMAG PEN, we'll adopt state-of-the-art new material Carbon Fiber to better insulate from heat and make the device more lightweight.
We'll also make ceramic mouthpiece for IMAG 2.
