For solo sessions at my desk (the majority of the time I am vaping) I use the Persei v3 + core + Ti globe + Nibbler GN. The flavor and smoothness is amazing. The clouds are big enough that I feel like I can get as high as needed in a few good long pulls.
The 1701 I have not had good results. I just can't get it to fire reliably on the core (blinky lights of doom only).

I am excited for ya! Did you grab an SR-74 as well by chance? I really can't recommend it enough, particularly now that you have The Core on the way...

I did not buy the Hercules yet. It's next on my purchase list. it seems like they keep upgrading. Is the sr-74 new? I don't want to purchase it and a new Hercules comes out

let us know how it goes with the 8. I am on the fence - I want to get the Herc badly ASAP but am on the fence between getting an 8 or waiting for the Persei with the newest top. Fortunately, my Cera EO continues putting out the tasty clouds like a champ.

Hey spoutti,The test will be to see if I can handle the herc without filling the reclaim chamber in 1 session. I did it twice, then I decided I should get oil vaping experience before I try the herc again.. But now I have a better feel of oil vaping. I think its time to test my oil vaping skills with the herc again
1st or 2nd wash, that is the question
I am going to have to get some pointers from you. I have been using omicron lite for past week and have good experience with kiss carts. I just need a lil more power. But for smooth sessions, I like the 3.7kiss. But I am a rookie with the concentrates, other than dabbing

Man, I did not know a new version was coming out. Just bought the Persei because of the discount. I probably will be fine
What do you mean reget button fix?
There is no new version of the Persei, the touch buttons are being implemented in the repair department only, and only with a $10 upgrade.
All 8's now go out with the button fix. If you think you have an 8 with an old button please contact us and we will get you sorted out.

My Bad. So Gary, do the Persei's you are selling now have the V4 top or would we need to specify at order time? Can you elaborate on how the V4 top is different then its predecessor?
Oh, and when do you expect to get Black Persei's back in stock?
Currently because of our dedication to already established clients, we want to reward them for sticking with us and giving them the opportunity to get the touch button tops first.
Now once we catch up with our established customer we will implement the touch button in our future production of the Persei line.
so warranty + $10 upgrade fee for the touch tops?
do the touch tops include the locking on/off mechanism?
like i need to get another new button assembly for my 8 i received from vaporwarehouse. Sorry, too medicated when posting sometimes lol

What is the proper procedure to get our tops fixed, I've been dealing with a few Persei tops that don't always want to fire. All of my account info was on your old website also.... please let me know how to proceed so I can be "all in" again, these quirks have kept me at a distance from UP for a while, and I'm anxious to have all of my tools working properly!

I have the v2 top which has been working like a champ...just wanted to know if I should just stick the the saying, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" or do you recommend I do the upgrade regardless?

Thank you, wasn't too keen on the versions. I'll look on the W9 site to research further to see if the V4 upgrade is necessary for me since things are perfoming accordinglyV4 is an upgrade from V2...
