I'm pretty sure I want the rainbow after see it all lit up. Really nice man! Can you leave your solo on the charger with the LEDs on overnight? I think it will make a cool night light.

Pipes, I've had one of your stands for a few weeks as I had to pick it up from puffitup when i saw it over there.
I Gotta say it lends my solo to getting a little more use since it's always standing on my table instead of laying in on the bookshelf to charge.

It Works wonderfully and the design and build are great. I really do like it a lot, Thanx for all the work !

Leaving it on has no effect on the stand. The LEDs last a very long time. I wouldn't store the Solo on it when no need to charge it though.
Unless it's unplugged of course.
Yes, the rainbow or colour changing LED can be fun to look into. All around 360 degree view to boot.

Cool, thanks for posting and glad you like it. Your very welcome. IMO, it does make a big difference.

Pipes, how much would it cost to just purchase the base repair kit? And after installing the kit are the bottom screws still accessible?

Hi JM, the base repair kits has really little value in terms of parts. It consists of 4 proper sized washers, instructions and felt punch outs to cover them up. However, OTOH, something Solo owners should install at first sign of cracking or even before if concerned about maintaining in predestine condition.
I generally consider the kit a "throw in" along with other goodies. Like now I also add 2 different 90 degree plug adapters for the input power cable. One standard Solo OEM 1.7mm and one that is also a 2.1mm adapter in the case the OEM power supply heads south. It's easier to find an off the shelf power supply with a 2.1mm plug.
These elbows also add more benefits to the use of the Solo stand.

The cheapest package to get and is full of goodies is the get a car charger.

For $20 shipped you will get a car charger and all the free throw ins.

1ea. car charger cord- $20 shipped
+ the "free" stuff:
1ea. #113 high temp O ring
2ea. 1/2" Original ScreenZ brand high quality SS fine screen (made in USA)
1ea. Solo Base Repair Kit (Washers, Felt and Instructions)
1ea. 5.5mmX2.1mm adapter for car charger and possible future power supply replacement.
1ea. 14mm WT Stand
1ea. Stem Stand

If you currently cannot afford this route, PM me and we'll get you fixed up.

So I have received requests for a picture of the $20 "EcoKit". May as well give it a name....

I have also added the strait OEM size power elbow to give more options.

Also, about the OEM connector. I have sourced out a much better connector which is designed with the contact much closer to the end than previous connectors as well as the factory OEM plug. As shown in the picture the contact is very close to the end where the more common connector is about 2-3 mm down the center.

This improves the connection reliability quite a bit. The female side is also good quality and has very good hold as well as has a brass insert incorporated for better quality connection.

Gotta have good connectors for things to work right...

just wanted to post and say i got my Pipes AIO kit today.

the stand looks great on my desk. i requested a not-too-bright rainbow LED and i must saw it looks amazing and provides the perfect amount of subtle light without being too overwhelming in the dark.

can't wait to give the car PA a spin! got some bonus sparkly stands and everything looks great. the solo stand is a lot of fun. thanks again @Pipes !

This thread had migrated to be more Stands oriented than the AIO PA. A new Stand focused thread has is here, Pipe's Solo Stands Thread
Folks still interested in the PA, no worries, I can still accommodate.
