Atmos Transporter Vaporizer

I was going to order the Solo for $124. I don't like the Flowermate- the draw is too hard for me.
The Transporter is now on Massdrop for $95 with the lowest price $85. What's the draw like on the transporter? Anyone have the Solo and the Transporter and have any thoughts on which you prefer?

Get the Solo. For the few extra dollars, you'll get variable temps, glass vapor path, and known reliability. You really can't go wrong with the Solo.

If this is going to be for home use mostly or maybe for a drive..can't beat the solo ..as good as the transporter reviews I've read..its still shaped like a flask which takes away any stealth factor in my book..for home use or the occasional car rides..the solo fits nicely in a cars cup holder and if someone sees u taking a draw it looks like your taking a sip of soda or something...driving while pulling from a flask.....

I have both and prefer the solo for taste and vapor quality.

If you need something small for out and about you can go with the Transporter but it looks like a flask so that is a downer in my opinion.

The draw is kind of medium restriction on the Transporter. The oven is on the bottom so it doesn't clog the mouthpiece up like the FM V but it's not a huge draw channel either.

I think the restriction on the Solo depends largely on how you load it. If you pack the stem too tight you can certainly get that milkshake like draw. Honestly even when I do that it doesn't bother me too much because it you really don't need monster draws on the solo to get good vapor.

Thanks for the help. I'm going to go with the Solo. I think this is a good price and Massdrop can take a long time to deliver.

From the sluggish movement of the Transporter on Massdrop, guess vapaholics like myself are moving away from the Red-White-and Blue lights of the keen eyed donut boyz, by not advertising their alcoholic persona...

I feel ya. It's endless fun for vaping newbies at parties though. It's almost like a stepping stone from drinking to vaping? Lol. Everyone and their mother thought it was hilarious to take a video 'drinking' from the flask and then spitting out vapor onto unsuspecting party goers. :haw:

Novelty aside it definitely performs better than my flowermate. Vapor is less harsh since bowl is at the bottom and I find there's less of a taste than with the flowermate mp. Throwing a couple honeycomb screens in the bowl has been helping with efficiency too. Stuck a 14mm glass piece from my eclipse vape into the rubber mouthpiece and its been milking glass admirably.
Definitely not my late-night cruise vape though.

I never drink alcohol so if I wind up with it, might be funny and ironic, in all seriousness though if this was priced like 49.99 I might consider it...

I suppose that ole timey feeling of nostalgia is the "drive" behind the flask shape form of the misguided Vapes marketed lately.

It lights up the eyes of storm troopers.

Watt were they thinkin'. I take my hops in sport bottles after a bike ride.

I agree. I am in the middle of a side by side and much prefer the Transporter. The oven on the bottom makes a pretty big difference.
The vapor is a bit cooler but and the density and taste are better in my opinion.

Seems many Atmos products are similar to flowermate's ,maybe flowermate is the main supplier for atmos, flowermate factory called Smiss and they sell many products on alibaba you can find similar as atmos.

Not trying to be rude but you might want to flip back one page and give it a read. It was discussed that this is a rebrand from an original FM design. ;)

I have been looking for a 2nd vape to my FM 5. This looks like an interesting alternative. Listed for $90 on eBay.

I don't see any issues other than the shape. Looks like the same charger as my FM which would be nice.

The Atmos Transport is a rebranded Flowermate so your current charger should work.

Has anyone tried putting a stainless steel screen in the bottom (top?) of the bowl to keep the air path from getting any material in it?

I haven't had any issues with getting material in the airpath and the only things I throw in the bowl, besides material, is honeycomb screens for smaller loads sometimes. If you like your flowermate then you'll enjoy this. It's better in every way except aesthetics, although the transporter isn't as overt with the screw on flash mouthpiece taken off.

I had both units and it does use the same charger.

If you flip back you will see my comments on both.

I think the transporter performs better but I hate the flask design (although it is better because it's smaller).
