Is there no way to get a higher capacity battery for these just like we can for phones? I would've thought that was going to be one of the advantages of having a replaceable battery.

Not that i've found.. I'd love a 2500mhz battery in my firefly for 10 hour sessions though

Not sure what they call it, but it's a low capacity one.. I mean; it is being used to heat a coil to red-hot temperatures and maintain those temps for long periods of time, but it still seems to drain rather quickly compared to a normal battery..

@Deja Vu you mean MilliAmp Hour (mAH), right? MHertz is a frequency.

We know whacha mean. Gotcha!

Longer battery, longer sessions.
Yes you get the idea, haha.
Inboxing you with a quick electronics question ** infact nevermind, googled it and i'm fine :):)

You'd think FF II would be air light, and have a longer battery life.

Battery technology is getting batter. haha

I'd like to see a super ion battery, or some plasma technology in the FF2, lol.

Sounds good, let them know when you have your prototypes, I'd like to see ion air-gel batteries.....

No question the battery is the Achilles' heel of a damned good device. Oooh, that cool vapor TASTE!

I got a $10 flashlight at IKEA that you crank to charge. There's 90 seconds of bright LED light for 30 cranks. Useful studio gadget for hooking up gear. I thought I'd crank it 60 times and get 3 minutes of light. No dice, the battery only holds so much. But maybe in a FireFly, with a bigger battery and crank mechanism? You know, appropriate technology for that roving sub-saharan vape.

HELP!!...

Just got m fire fly from ASAP Smoke shop and te damn battery needs charge within 2 bowls.. I get like 4-6 hits each bowllast about 15 min tops.. Am I holding for to long? I usually get 2 big fat ass hits that I cough and blow out instantly!! I love it still gets me baked for very little herb. Btw I hold for 12 sec to pre heat then let go then sipp-sipp and hold and let go and hold.. It doesn't make sense why my battery dies so easly and so fast!! I mean every 30min have to charge? Its like the magic flight all over again... One or two bowls and back to charge...

Idk, it would have to be a pretty big crank imo ;)

Its probably cuz your pumping the heat? Try just holding it for a 20-30 sec drag. But either way battery isn't stellar

other then the batter being week.. I haven't noticed anything wrong with this cape! Its been amazing!!! Never combusted!! No matter hoe much I tried to light up the herb over and over again it never let me get out of hand like its got some kinda of controls so you don't combust. Its also a GREAT VAPE FOR CONSERVING!!! That's one of the main reasons I got the vape. I never saw it pointed out on reviews. The bowl is small because that's how it should be.. I had big bowl vapes and they only work if u fill all the way up. With my firefly a little pinch will work a full chamber will work also. The firefly is the EASIEST VAPE TO CLEAN. I mean thee top comes off and you can see the whole air path.. No more poking in areas u can't see.

Also here's a FUN FACT about this cape. I forgot the name of the CEO but he use to work for apple.

Random question. Any body here play destiny on Xbox one? Add me. GAMESharrk

It should only last 2-3 sessions, sometimes less. The sessions are heavily demanding on the little batteries, so if you're taking it out of the house for more than a few hours with more than 1 gram of herb you will unfortunately need to invest in some additional batteries.

Not playing Destiny, but I fuck around with The Evil Within, Sunset Overdrive and Battlefield 4 a bit :) Do you have any of those games?

and in regards to the Firefly being concervative with herb.. I find that if I inhale very very slowly (so damn slow) I get the most out of my herb, but if I pack a small or large cone and inhale quickly I find that the herb dries out and goes crispy and brown very quickly without much vape.
Slow and LONG inhales are key for me to extract the perfect flavour and effect from my session. I also press/hold the button in random and inconsistant patterns to regulate the optimal temperature for each part of my inhale. Very delicate procedure that I somehow know how to do now like it's second nature. :)
I always get more out of my herb in the Arizer EQ, in fact when it comes to efficiency - the Firefly sucks compared to it, but of course the desktop vape is stuck in one place and the firefly can be taken anywhere..

Snacks is right, you are shortening battery life when you pulse it. Also no need to pre-heat for such a long time, or at all. Start drawing when you see the glow, about a three count. Draw till you feel vapor, release the button and keep drawing...you'll keep pulling vapor after you release. Don't pulse the button...only press once per hit, otherwise you restart the heat cycle. You should get 20-25 hits of this type on a full charge. See if that approach normalizes your battery life.

Damnit, even more than the 20% off survey code that everyone thought would be the only sale for a while! Oh well I guess...
