New guy here, been following this forum for a while. After a lot of reading I was about to buy the Alfa and get a great Black Friday deal! now i see this: http://arizer.com/store/en/hand-held/94-arizer-air-portable-diffuser.html UGHH! I don't even own a single dry herb vape, but that's because i've had 3 break. (an atmos, grenco, and no-name). I love the idea behind the solo, but need something a little more discreet and portable. After having 3 pens fail me, and finally deciding to get a solid vape, I need something for $250 max that is reliable, but also discreet/portable. The 3 choices are the Goboof Alfa, Arizer air, or the Haze, in that order. Can any one lend some solid feedback or knowledge to help??

I am considering the Haze just because it has the capability to do both herb and concentrates. It doesn't look like it would be the most discreet. It looks kind of like a flask, and I live in Washington state. Consuming alcohol in public actually draws more attention these days than vaping does. If I was at a show or concert, that could actually be a problem.

Any comments that could help sway me would be great, i'm incredibly indecisive, but really want to jump on one of these black friday deals.

Arizer has a long and solid history, I would stick with that even if it's the new model. I am looking at the Alfa for myself, but it's still too new to know about reliability. If you can handle some manual control you should look into the MFLB, it's very stealthy and one of the most reliable vapes available. Get something that you can depend on first, then shop for a second vape when you can... we all need a backup. It's also a good idea to get something that will handle most of your usage situations first (like the Solo), then learn from it to figure out what you may need or want for other situations (at home, travel, in the car, super stealthy).

Keep reading up and asking questions until you feel good about your choice, there will be more sales over the next month.

I can't help you on your 3 prospects, but it's no surprise that your Atmos, Grenco, and no name are no longer working.
I am considering the Haze just because it has the capability to do both herb and concentrates. It doesn't look like it would be the most discreet.
I don't see the other two being any more stealthy/discreet than the Haze, personally.

I do love the MFLB for stealth. It would be perfect for a concert and walking around town when being used native (without the draw tube). I load mine in advance and use a thick elastic hair band to wrap around the MFLB AND the battery. Fits in my front pocket. You can easily pull out and engage the battery and reverse the process when done. I have average size hands and I only need one hand to engage the battery and make the MFLB disappear. You should be able to get two folks baked on a pre-fill. I make sure the battery is newly charged and in good shape. Would hate to get settled at a concert and realize the battery is dead.

Stick around this site and do some reading in threads where new members have posed similar questions. No doubt there will be some invaluable information here to help you properly decide. It comes down to so many personally subjective factors that it's impossible for any one of us to tell you which one to get. We can only point you in the direction that has served us well from our own individually limited experiences. Good luck and hope to see you posting more :) Plenty to learn here!

I think i may go with the alfa. I don't like the idea of the mouthpiece/stem on the arizers. I mean..It seems fantastic, but i love the idea of something that i can easily just fit in my hand. I heard the Haze leaks oil if it isn't held horizontally. That, combined with the fact that it was intentionally designed like a flask is a drawback for me. It would look too much like I was drinking in public.

Plus, I found a black friday deal on the Alfa for like..$172 and free shipping. I think that's a pretty good starting point for me.

Also, the fact that the MFLB has a very short battery life was a drawback for me. I realize the Alfa doesnt have user replaceable batteries, and you can get multiple with MFLB but I think the Alfa might suit my needs best.
