Does anyone have know how the top screen of the crafty is held in? If I pop it out will I be able to get a new one back in easily?

This price list? I can't find it… I like the small size of this power bank. Is it really custom made fοr S&B though?

I like that size as well...I doubt it's custom made for the crafty, even if they brand it S&B. It's most likely a partnership they have with a hardware vendor. Here is a power bank with a similar form factor and power rating. Just bought one but haven't received it yet though...

I used the stirring tool to pop and swap out the screen. I recall it being fairly easy.

Hi Very high
hmm so I just went outside for my crafty session, all flowing nicely however I noticed much less vapor than usual. Thought nothing of it at first and just kept hooting, noticing the effects of the medicine nice, nice Boost! After I cant continue I go to dump my load and holy shit its fucking empty. I forgot to refill it after putting it on charge earlier!

I removed the top screen days ago and have since been using the oil pad as a top screen (so to speak just shoved in the top space). I have only cleaned my unit a couple of times and never touched the oil pad just kept putting it back in for each session. So has this thing just collected oil nicely and got me baked for free? :hmm: I like this vape more and more each day...I dropped it this morning about a foot onto concrete, only damage to Crafty is a slight nick in the plastic..happy days!

I also use the oil pad as the top screen. After about a week of vaping, put the oil pad only in the top of the vape. Turn up to 190c (Or higher depending on your preference) and enjoy your work free reclaim

Can you show a picture of what you're talking about? The top screen you popped out and replaced with the oil pad?

What was weird today is that same thing happened where I forgot to refill but I got a robust vapor off an empty chamber. That actually concerned me.

So is this keeping the inside of your cooling unit and mouthpiece less glazed? Wondering if the tighter mesh of the pad is catching more and thereby reclaiming?? Also does it tighten the draw a little?

Background: (skip to first impressions)
UPS came yesterday when I was in the middle of making edibles for Thanksgiving. I didn't want to be high and burn my brownies. I've been clean 5 weeks. I used to hit the bong daily but I hate the feeling of "OMG I'M GONNA DIE" after taking a massive rip. My only other vape was the MFLB. I was a fan of the stealth but my boyfriend claimed it never got him high (because we smoked bowls so regularly). The very first time he used the MFLB, he didn't let go of the battery in time and left a small char in the middle of the screen.

First Night/Day Impressions:

Initial Thoughts:
-BF really likes the orange pick "filling chamber tool". It's not flimsy.
-Crafty finished its initial charge in about 20-25 minutes. Good shit but I was in the process of baking so I was counting on it to take longer. I took it off the charger and abandoned Crafty for another few hours.
-That LED is soooo damn bright. It lit up my entire bedroom.
-The Crafty logo by the mouthpiece is sexy. Couldn't tell in video reviews but it has holographic (is that the word?) S&B logos. Someone else mentioned this on the thread.

First Battery Cycle: I grinded up .420 of high quality buddha and filled the orange filling chamber thing. This made 4 bowls (3 of which I vaped on one charge). I could have gotten at least another bowl on that charge but I heated up the 3rd bowl on 3 separate occasions. Also note, I was outside (snowing out here) for 2 of the 3 bowls.

Now for the actual vaporization:

1. On the first bowl, we took about 8-12 massive rips from 300-410°F. Crafty kept up with myself and my boyfriend. I was SUPER high :ko: from 10pm - 1am when I KO'd. It lasted longer than a smoking high. I woke up at 7am with some notable after-buzz (muscles still feel relaxed).
2. For the second bowl, I didn't count how many draws. I was vaping outside with 3 other close friends who couldn't vape because they had things to do within the next hour (but they were intrigued by the device and want to use it another time!). They were curious about what the Crafty smelled like so I blew the vapor in their faces (upon request). One friend said, "It smells like perfume." The other two agreed that it "definitely didn't smell like weed." :ninja: *Remember we were outside, so this could change when indoors.* I was ridiculously high from 12pm - 3pm with some after buzz.
3. The third bowl got over 10 hits and was heat up 3 separate times. I definitely wasn't as smacked as the other two times, but I was pretty high for 2-3 hours. I still have a body buzz. I'm vaping the fourth bowl in a bit. I'm definitely looking forward to re-entering deep space. :whoa:

Other notes: This morning, Crafty had trouble syncing to my iPhone; a simple phone restart fixed it. I haven't had trouble with the vape since. I'm using a camera case as a vape case. It has a velcro pocket in the front for the brush. The vibration feature is really useful. It was snowing hard today so I couldn't have my phone out to check if Crafty was ready. Just want to say again to people who are afraid to switch from bong to vape, you won't regret it! I'm getting higher than ever before. My boyfriend even tried another bong hit while I had taken the Crafty. He said that combustion just doesn't compare anymore.

Overall I want to say, so far so great. I'll come back and update soon.
Definitely looking forward to a great Danksgiving.

Why does Crafty get more clouds out of the same stuff than my clouds?

Stuff includes Stokkebye Luxory Twist. Which I like to vape some at night.
Crafty will turn it hershey brown during a relaxing, cloudy session.
Clouds, not so much.

Why is this?

I feel like the EVO and Cloud taste better and extract quicker(?) for herb. but they don't pull clouds off pipe tobacco which the Crafty definitely does..

So this is what I mean by glazed. Clearly lots of medicine in there. Explains ehy it create a robust vapor cloud with an empty chamber...

Here's what I thiught I heard upstream in this thread. I popped out the screen and put in the pad. Hard to smash in there. Fired it up to 398 took a toke and noticed a slightly tighter draw, no noticeable flavor reduction. I'll do this for awhile and report back if I notice less glaze and therefore more reclaimed goodies ..,

I know that you can reclaim this stuff but in looking at the pics of the chambers above, is there more loss of vapor cannabinoids due to condensation taking place on the surface areas of the S&B portables than in other vapes?

The manual clearly states that cool vapor is tasty, and that hot vapor is not. There is more cooling happening in this portable than any other that I know of with a stock configuration. It then becomes a choice between cool tasty vapor, or a different vape with a shorter vapor path with less surface area for reclaim if you prefer hotter less tasty hits.

Yes. I find it tightens the draw a little but most importantly, it catches most of the reclaim in the pad and keeps the chamber much cleaner IMO. I am about two weeks in with heavy use and no need to clean the chamber yet.
