Kurogane, i have had a solo, a pinnacle pro, i have an ascent i use daily and an alfa, i absolutely love the alfa and i much prefer it to the solo and the pinnacle pro, clouds are just as good imo and its just so small and lush to hold and hit :-). I have never used a pax but in looking at recent reviews people seem to prefer the alfa for the smaller bowl size and the fact cleaning the sticky mouthpiece on the pax was a pain, i get just as good a sesh as i do on my ascent which is pretty impressive concidering the price of the alfa. Hope you enjoy :-) i certainly have been lol happy vaping ppl.
O forgot to mention, straight out the box i popped a hole thru one of the screens and placed it in the bowl, and removed the screen under the mouthpiece, havent had any issues and the alfa is nice and clean, happy vaping :-)

I marked it with a black marker and then poked with a thumbtack until was big enough. To get the screen out later, you can push it out from the other end.

Yeah, but the Arizer Air AGAIN looks like a hand-grenade or other lethal device. The S&B Crafty and Mighty have that same look. What IS it with these people? Is it war in the air? The Tactical fashion? Did you know they sell Tactical Pens?
I'll tell ya, if it looks dangerous people spot it from 50 yards away with inner bells going off with a mindset of **worry** - that's not exactly discreet & stealthy ;-)
Compare with say a Firefly, that looks expensive and harmless. The Alfa also looks rather inoffensive.

Arizer is a Canadian company. Up here, that sort of paranoid mindset is extremely rare. (See what I did there?) Also, that looks no more dangerous from a distance than a thousand other things. It's just a narrow cylinder. To me, the Alfa looks just as dangerous.

My point exactly.
Alfa looks like a box mod for ejuice.. not a lot of people even know about vaporizers such as this. Without the smell nobody would think anything of it.

Hello all. I got my alfa yesterday and have had a day to mess with it. Here's what I do to get nice clouds. I take out screen by mouthpiece and put one in heating chamber. At first I turned it on and expected it to be like my pax but it's NOT. Lightly pack the bowl full finely ground. I have been turning it on medium and waiting 7 or 8 minutes and wow! That's the ticket. It needs to warm up kinda like the wispsr. So pack lightly and let warm up 10 min and bam.
10 minutes? Lol Why would you wait that long theres no way it takes that long to heat up

Yeah your right. Ha. I'm just still feeling this thing out. I just loaded a bowl didn't pack at all and got my biggest clouds yet.
Its all about feeling it out.. once you hit your sweet spot you'll stick with it. Heat up time they claim is 30 seconds though i wouldn't ever wait as long as you did especially with a conduction vape.

I would love to have more Alfa owners give their feedback on how they use this vape. I feel like it can perform so much better then the way i am using it. I pack it fully but not packed tight. The herb is not super fine but ground up nicely. I start on low for about 5 draws, then medium for another 5-8 draws and then on high for another 5-8 draws. I get baked and see clouds on some medium draws and lots of clouds on high temp. Is this the best method? Should i be sipping the whole time or slow long draws? How many total draws do you get out of one packing?
Still haven't received my unit yet pretty disappointed but hey it was a holiday week. Id ask @JoeKickass how he packs his bowls, he seems to be getting the best cloud production.
