Strengthening cracked glass?

Hi all,

I have a small bubbler that I've used with my vape for about 4 years now, and for about the last year it's had a small "spiderweb" crack on the upper interior of the water chamber. I'm guessing that the high-temperature vapor hitting the upper interior of the chamber caused the interior of the glass to weaken over time.

The crack hasn't really grown any more severe in the last few months, but I'm still afraid of it eventually breaking.

Is there any form of treatment I can apply to the interior of the glass (or even the exterior, though the cracked portion hasn't penetrated to the outer surface of the glass) to protect it from further damage? Or should I start on the lookout for a replacement piece?

Thanks everyone!

Well the crack is not from high temp vapor. It was either damaged, poorly blown from the start, or a combo of the two.

There is no treatment you can do. It would have to be torch repaired. So basically you might wanna start picking what kind of glass you want next. ;)

This is what I was afraid of... wanted to ask here as a last resort to see if there was any type of glass wizardry I could accomplish on my own. Thanks!!
