Puff master
Hey everybody. So I tried searching the forum for my question but couldn't seem to find it. I was wondering if the pinnacle pro water tool would work with my ssv tubing? Would I need an adaptor or would it fit if I just pushed it in? Currently I am using my ssv with a bong in which I just shove the tubing down the downstem. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!!

After 3 months of waiting and reading every post on these 238 pages, I finally get my SSV tonight! It's an early Christmas present from my sister. I told her to wait for Black Friday deals but oh well. This work day is going sooo slowly!

Part of me wants to say "I know" to everything you guys have said so far, but I guess, even if I know these points in terms of words, I must not be fully comprehending them experientially yet.

So, I will probably need a few more days to experiment and see what I come up with.
Part of the difficulty is the fact that, unlike with burning it, I can't simply draw into my mouth and blow it out without inhaling. So, as I'm trying to get my drawing style figured out, I'm getting higher and higher and have to stop and pick it up the next time.

RE: "if thats your thing"

Like I said, it's not about what I want, but what I need.
Ultimately, I wouldn't care if it were completely invisible, except for the fact that I need some kind of sign or feedback mechanism to help me gauge how much I'm intaking. When I just keep drawing and drawing because I can't tell if it's 'working', sometimes I'm getting nothing and it does nothing for me, and other times, I'm getting a crap-ton without even realizing it, and well....no, I don't like not being able to gauge it.

I will figure this out.
I know it's probably just a matter of testing the heat level and my drawing technique, at very small increments.
I just need more time. :)

I figured, of all places, this would be one where it's safe to be a noob (i.e. if you're not chilled out around here, you're definitely doing it wrong  ), and so far, you've only proven me correct on that. So, thanks a lot, everyone. It's nice to be home.

I've found that the best way to gauge if I'm getting adequate vapor is to direct the vapor flow under my tongue, where it seems to be more sensitive.

I have both - I don't really use my SSV at all any more.

I pretty much exclusively vape-bong, and the LSV is better for that.

Tbh, I probably would've sold off my SSV if it wasn't my first vape (sentimental attachments to a vape -)

So I'd say if you're gonna vape-bong, give the LSV a shot, if you just want all glass direct draw, maybe a custom wand with a built in mouthpiece for the SSV would be the way to go?

Edit:
I never had issues with the SSV whip either, but the LSV form factor is way more convenient for bong use IME.

So is this something new?!?!?!?

Shorty Standard Wand

Looks intriguing, :smug:

I was going to ask about these too.

I read on net and FC that a vapor brothers mini wand and whip work really well with the ssv and conserves material for 1-2 person use. I was just about to order one when I saw 7th floor have made their version.

I guess its too early to ask how they compare???

the 7th floor one just look like a short erb chamber but as wide as the normal wand and the VB mini wand the erb camber is thinner and longer.

any thoughts guys? just about to make an order with 7th floor for glass so might add a mini wand. but if the VB mini wand is that much better ill order one of those instead.

Anybody own both a SSV and LSV? Is it worth getting both, I really don't mind the whip but think the LSV form factor might be so enjoyable.
I own both , and really do not use the LSV often any longer(once a week or once every two weeks)... but I do use the SSV (standard HC/handheld wand) daily. It has been on 24/7 for 4 years and is always ready for a hit!

ive owned 3 ssv's and one lsv. still have one ssv and no lsv.

I thought the lsv was a bit of an inconvenient machine and ran too hot.

ssv smoother and easier for a daily driver. vape bong lsv is better but whip ssv +1

I got my SSV, silver with a yellow base, two nights ago and am loving it! This is my first vaporizer after combusting for the last 12 years and all of the posts here have made the learning process go much quicker, so thank you! Now I have to get a VB mini wand and maybe some basket screens :whoa:

cant go wrong either way, but i would say lsv with some custom base to hold it upright and stable. i use an ssv as a 'base' and put an lsv heater cover on it. then i can hit it dry at my leisure w/o having to lay it down and w/o needing a whip.

I think the only thing that will part me with my existing ssv is the sssv but im gonna hold fire til a month or so after release for some reviews.

im looking at the VB mini wand. either that or the 7th floor shorty wand.

I've been using a lsv for the past couple of weeks, giving the ssv a break. for dry use, I'd prefer the SSV. I'm not a huge fan of the transfer wand. But with a bubbler, I've been getting some very good results with the LSV, maybe even a little better than the SSV. It's a little unwieldy initially, but once you get the hang of it, it performs very well.

Mine too, not a daily driver but it's always at the ready with the aroma dish filled with liquid wax.
Ssv2 is more off/on as needed with the oil kit

This is what I've always been afraid of. I really like the Mic stand idea.

LSV, second SSV or maybe a Lotus :hmm:.

I know right. The Lotus is in my short list too. I think I would love it but then again I'm afraid i'ts too much work using butane, IDK, :o

Now I have to get a VB mini wand and maybe some basket screens :whoa:

Highly recommend,.

Thanks for all the input guys, really helps a bunch.

I own them both and love them both equally.
I almost always use water with both as well.

the SSV though water taste much cleaner vs the LSV, which may be because of the longer vapor path.
BUT i usually use the LSV because it has less parts to deal with. (still is great)
I use the LSV with the WPA.

for this sale price i say..........get both.

don't forget a WPA or extra tubing.
