Three Grandmas Smoke Weed for the First Time

Modnote: Blogspam link removed, actual video added.

Just when you thought recreational marijuana was only for your stereotypical stoner type….think again. A new video from Cut Video exposes the reality that marijuana can be enjoyed by everyone, including your mom.

The video was recorded in Washington State where the use of recreational marijuana has been legalized, and features some of the most awesome Grandmas on the planet. Watch them as they smoke out of a water pipe, then a vaporizer, and display some of the most charismatic behavior ever seen on video.

After several minutes in of smoking, one of them says “I need more” and another responds by saying “OK, put your face over it and do it like you mean it.”

So there you have it….Grandmas can smoke weed too!

Kinda reminds me of those that think that the song, "The Man Who Sold the World" was actually a Nirvana original.

If it wasn't for us old fogies bringing weed out of the closet back in the 60's, you youngsters would still believe that Reefer Madness was a documentary. We were smoking pot for decades before you were even born.

I have alot respect for the older generation. As a matter of fact, the first joint I ever smoked was with my Grandpa. (May he rest in peace)

I realize the obstacles that were faced back in the 60's, which makes today's marijuana legalization movement that much sweeter. I don't think the post was meant to be condescending as much as it was meant to be a reminder to people that there are those that smoke marijuana that aren't your common "stoner stereotype".

It seems like on FC there is such a cross section of people. I'm 57 years old and my first joint was when I was 14 yrs old. I didn't become a regular cannabis user until I was in my 20s.

I never thought that I would live in a legal cannabis state. WA just needs to get their recreational prices down.

The shit weed from the 70s was $50 an oz where I grew up. I remember all the seeds and stems. We thought it was pretty good stuff too. There's no comparison to today's weed. It seems like everything had that earthy taste if it was the primo . We would use a record album as a surface to separate the stems and seeds from the bud.

Salutations Tommy Dukes,

After several minutes in of smoking...

That's the only element that made me feel uncomfortable about it: smoking. Here's one of those case where i'd have much prefered to see a combustion-free alternative being offered, one which also provides better dosage control ideally. A vaporizer baloon perhaps, or even something more tasty though not necessarily brutal - while smoke doesn't meet these criterias too well.

Wrong, grasshopper. Marijuana CAN make one paranoid without that person having any paranoia typically going on in their life. This doesn't happen with everyone, but it does happen with some.

Wow, what a thought. Can't even imagine what that would be like. Then again, my granny would be somewhere around 135 yrs old at this point so there might be more interesting stuff goin on than just seeing gramma buzzed... :)

Feels like a million years ago.....the first and only time my Mom tried weed was over 20 years ago at a relative's house party who was a big-wig in the music industry. My brother and I were sitting on a couch with Mom and in front of us was a bunch of already rolled joints. My Mom, trying to be progressive, said my brother and I should go ahead and partake if we wanted because she already new we smoked. My brother and I didn't want to alienate Mom so we declined. That's when she mentioned she always wanted to try it. Mom was a cigarette smoker so all we really needed to instruct her on was holding it in a bit. The stuff was pretty good and there we were sharing with Mom...it was so cool to us even though we were adults in our late 20's / early 30's. My brother and I got pretty baked and when we asked Mom how she liked it she said....'Isn't really doing anything for me. I don't feel anything. I don't see what the big deal is. How about we see what they're serving in the kitchen. All of sudden I'm really hungry.

I tried vaping with my grandma before I left Arkansas, but the strain I had at the time was EXTREMELY potent and EXTREMELY sativa. I also think I may have had the temperature a little high on the Zephyr because she just couldn't do it. Said it burned too much. I felt so bad seeing her cough and ask for water

Understood, I prefer vaporizers as well but I think the point of the video was to show different methods of use and how the women responded to using them. Either way, the ladies get nice and baked.

I think weed is a medicine just like oxycontin. It's good for its purpose, but whennyou abuse it it turns againstyou.
