Pen Imag Plus

I believe it comes from a belief that ceramic will taste purer than steel? We shall see, bc at first the steel Imag chamber definitely tasted better than the FlowerMate's ceramic, until it degraded over time suddenly turning foul for me. FlowerMate has some foulness from its polymide tape though, so not a fair comparison probably.

I've also got the new one coming too, along with an xmax v2 (which also used a ceramic oven instead of the origbal Imag/xmax's steel). I hope Imag is updating their temp settings too, bc xmax has much better options in that regard (plus swappable batteries). A direct comparison will of course be in order though

Isn't it a lasting thing also? Most plug in vapes switched from Steel to Ceramic because of lifespan didn't they? Thats the info I got with my Vaporbrothers. Ceramic and steel should taste about the same, maybe ceramic is a tad more pure? Idk really...

The imag + is great at looking like an ecig. I was walking on campus today with it puffing away. Although it'd be remiss of me to not mention the smell. When the oven is off there's usually no discernible smell. However with it on you can definitely pick of the scent of herb if you're within, say, a bar's length away from someone. So while your wife might be fooling people visually, there's a chance they'll pick it up in the nose. This might not be a problem in her situation if the cigar smoke covers it up or something, just wanted to mention it just in case.
I would imagine all portable devices on the market that uses an oven will somewhat smell but have you tried using it a lower heat temp? That might do the trick. Or you might want to try another strain lol Either way, i'm glad you're having a good time with this device. I have yet to pull the trigger on this but this device looks interesting especially the new version.

My friends call me "Menz"
surprisingly enough i was picked as well. i have the original imag+ and my MP is broken (i still use it though) so i cant wait to directly compare the new one to the old one.

i also will have an X-Max V2 coming at some point. i ordered one when they gave me what i think is a good price. so a comparison with that one will be coming from me as well

I just got this a little while ago & man am I impressed with this product! For 100 bucks this vape pen beats out many other vapes in the same price range & even more expensive ones to. I like the build of this vape & it seems the mouth piece is improved as I've read other reviews complaining about it. I've had this vape for a few weeks now & I've had no problems whatsoever with the mouthpiece. I can puff on huge clouds of vapor (depending on the setting) & while it can be a bit hard to draw sometimes, it always vapes & hits excellent! I simply cannot recommend this enough for those looking for a reasonably priced affordable stealth vape. Forget about atomizers & older vape pens, if you are like me & have been looking for a true vape pen with NO combustion, look no further. This pen will definitely suit your needs as far as vaping. The only bad thing is after my battery is all used up & no more life left in it to charge, I'll have to purchase a new pen. The removal battery in the older ones wasn't such a bad idea. Maybe they should've kept that option. Other than that, this vape is nearly flawless! Excellent build, long lasting battery, 3 temp settings & a true vaping experience make this one a winner in my book. If i had to rate it by the numbers, I'd give it a 9.5/10 as far as stealth vapes go. One of my favorite on the market. Lots of bang for your buck...or should I say "buds"...LOL

I'm in:chill::popcorn:

looking forward to everyone's thoughts & shares on this promising portable.
Will be extensively tested in the sun with a cold beer and some prawns on the barbie. :spliff:

Imags rep. mentioned in an email that the cloud phantom is similar to the previous imag and the new imag plus is much improved.just wish they had allowed battery swap out.

I asked Ray to develop a good convection vape ;)

Somehow I think that will happen in China sooner than later.:buzz:

From a marketing perspective I think giving away samples is an excellent move. If these guys are confident in this vaporizer and it performs as we hope, they should make a hell of a lot of money on this model. Getting some working models into the hands of some "tastemakers" must be the quickest and easiest way to get the product known and build a good name (if one is deserving).

Personally I think it would be quite amusing if these guys beat the Grasshopper guys to market and establish themselves as the supplier of the first true pen vape for herbs which actually kicks ass instead of combusting or offering whispy vapor.

Yeah it's definitely a great marketing play. A completely unknown chinese company can't break into the western vape market without having solid online reviews. This way they're getting 20 unbiased reviews at the price of what it makes to produce the unit (+ shipping). If the unit is what it boasts to be (so far i believe it is) then this move will pay for itself. I'm guessing they're wanting to gain enough popularity to be picked up by more retailers stateside.

Amusing....hmm sorta, I also would be a tad sad as a early backer, oh well I guess I might end up with two great portables, still seems great in the end :-).

I got an e-mail from Ray the new units will be ready to ship in a couple days..can't wait.

Really? I have not heard back since the first response, thanks for the info.

Holy Satan.. what is this post doing here thought this is the joke thread may be looool...
Anyway i've read on reddit that .
To the topic . Are ed's wooden moutpieces gonna fit the updated IMAG ?
I don't think anyone can answer that yet until we get one in our hands, which should be soon. They changed how the mouthpiece connects to the body so I doubt it will fit.

Yeah we'll need a redesign of the wooden mouthpiece for the new version. At least the new one will already have replaceable screens and a better seal with the body. I hope they improved the temp settings as well on this one, xmax v2 has pretty ideal settings imo
