I'd love there to be a water tube option for these :) would be a beautiful thing, without the need to have it upside down in a bong gong ;) and none of the tubes fit a normal bong so it's a balancing act which i cba with.
Any ideas for a water option ?

Andy make 1 please for under $40 :)

Hey WB. A carbed gong is supposed to prevent blowback with bongs. The straight stems are just cool looking.

Thank you, that makes sense!

The carbed GonG is essential for me because it allows me to clear the chamber without having to remove both the E-Nano and the GonG with my right hand sidee my left is holding the bong. Andy should offer one, but it's also nice to leave a market segment open for other artisans to fill.

Thanks for the info. I think I may need one (carbed GonG) if the Nano becomes my daily driver.

Love my JoDa stem, just wish it was longer. It is a very short vapor path.

The JoDa stem lets me place the screen deeper than stock stems, so I can fit a tiny bit more.

Ah, good to know! Thank you.

I'm working on fine tuning my technique. Using high quality flowers with the dial set to 6.5, I am getting three hits per load, stirring between each hit. The last hit has a roasted peanut flavor, and that's where I quit.

If I set the temperature higher than 7, it will scorch the top unless I take short hits. I really don't like the taste I get from turning up the heat above 7 for one last hit, but I never run out of visible vapor, so I really don't know where it stops giving off usable vapor?

I hope I'm not being too wasteful by bring picky about flavor, but I'm getting more out of each 0.05g than I used to get from 0.25g when I used to burn it. And I'm saving the AVB for making a topical tincture or lotion.

Ur certainly right in that turning below 7 and or taking gentler hits will help you enjoy the flavors of the flower better.
My dial's at 6.6 after a 10-15 min preheat at 9 and the aftertaste from the bud is lingering on my palette. Before this i was running at 7-7.5 cloudchasing. I sure got clouds, but taste suffered. I'ts all about what you're in the mood for!

P.S. Come to think of it, im getting decent vaper below 7. The magic must be in the preheat. Sure, you can get her ready to vape in probably about 3 minutes, but its nowhere as Epic as when the log is used as it was made to be used, and it will get you there too.. nice and toasty!

Have you heard of the PNWT (Pinnacle Water Tool)? It's a good bit more than $40, but occasionally goes on sale for $50. Vid of one on nano

There is also a Chinese knock off for much less. Reliable seller direct from China has it for about $20 shipped. Takes a while to get to you, and glass is not as nice, but tough to beat $20.
http://www.dhgate.com/store/product/pinnacle-pro-glass-smoking-water-pipe-vaporblunt/184494946.html

I'd still suggest you stay away from either and grab a cheap bubbler. I have the PNWT and it gets absolutely no use. Last time I had it out was to use on the solo while camping, and spent most of the time in the bag. Just not worth the hassle for what it does IMO.

Don't like the idea of flipping your nano over and down onto a bubbler? Why not? Really not sure if this was Andy's intent when he came up with this little beast, but this is where it shines for daily use. Dry is nice and gives more flavor, but a water path smooths things out and allows for repeated larger hits with no throat irritation. Once you get your GonG attachment there are many bubblers avaialble, from cheap from China ($30 +/-), to beautiful pieces of art that run into the thousands. Check out the Cheap, high-quality bubbler?? thread for 100's of bubblers and many pics of a few favs sitting under nanos.

Just another great thing about the nano... easy to go cooler and love the flavor while getting a nice mellow, pretty funcitional head buzz or crank it up and get stuck to the sofa. Hell, you can even do both with the same load. Go light during the day and save your lightly roasted ABV. When you're ready to get blotto that night, mix a bit of fresh with the ABV (for a touch of flavor and THC), crank the heat up a notch or two, and have at it!

I've had a bubbler in mind for a while now. I'm looking for a knock-off model of one of the nicer ones for well under $40-75. possible?

When I first received mine, turning it upside down or even just sideways didn't seem intuitive to me. It's shape made me want to use it like a little bong.

I now realize that this is one part of the design that separates it from most other Convection devices. By heating from above (or side) only when you are inhaling, the heat source is kept separate from the herbal material. Many Convection devices still provide hot air from a heat source below or adjacent to the herb chamber, and this is a flaw because it allows unwanted conduction to take place. At the very least, unwanted residual low temp heat can still dry out your herbs and remove flavor between hits.....

Well... without telling us which bubbler, we can't really help you find a knockoff now can we?

But here's a very popular one which fits your budget - GB187 - yingmin5 - http://www.dhgate.com/product/hot-s...lass-smoking/188885599.html#s1-0-1|4281282632

Well, Yingmin is the best place to get the GB series and he has trouble keeping them in stock - selling like hotcakes. In fact I'm surprised those 7 still aren't sold as of this morning. SunShineStore has the D020-D which is very similar, but slightly different construction and build quality (both are good pieces).

To prevent this from going further off topic - please head over to this thread and check out the past 30-40 pages - http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/cheap-high-quality-bubbler.5255/

One question first; will water filtration help reduce the spread and lingering of weed smell? I plan on moving back to parents house soon so I'm trying to be as discreet as possible!

It should help a little bit. You'll still be able to get huge clouds tho, so it doesn't completely kill the smell.
Water filtration should definitely enhance the overall experience of the Nano for you tho.

My first post here on FC...

I ordered my e-Nano Sunday night and it shipped yesterday. According to the tracking info it shipped yesterday and should be here tomorrow. Dang I can't wait. Wahoo, got the curly koa!! Anyway, just wanted to join the crowd because I'm just so excited to receive my new baby.

This is my second vape overall, but my first plug-in. My other vape is a Firefly, and it's freakin' awesome. I'm a little confused by all the accessories for the e-nano. There's a ton of different stems, I get that, but then I saw a pic of a steam roller and then things called GonGs. I'm not sure what else I need, but hopefully it'll all make more sense as I start using it.

It will help slightly with the smell of vapor, but IMO a lot of the smell comes from opening a jar/bag and grinding your material.

To be on the safe side, you could get a Smokebuddy (Activated Carbon Filter) and blow your vapor through it, or build one yourself.

I've heard great things about Ona Gel if you want to try and cover the smell.

I'm the one who bought the other curly koa over the weekend! It's good to know that these two special twins will be a part of this community.

I also bought this as an upgrade for the Firefly. You know how good the Firefly is when your are lucky and work really hard to get it working perfectly? Well the E-Nano does it much better without even trying. As good as the Firefly is, I'll never use it again inside my home.

Oh, and welcome! So many questions will be answered once your spend an evening with you new E-Nano. Check out the cheap bubbler thread in the glass forum for info on how to get a really nice but inexpensive glass water pipe to go with your new vaporizer.

Welcome to the club!

Well, there really aren't many different accessories for the Nano - you've got dry stems, and GonG's to pair with water. You can buy your accessories direct from EpicVape.com or you can order custom glass accessories from @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd - he sells several different glass accessories for the Nano - just peruse his glass thread and you'll see what he can do.

A SteamRoller is simply a type of glass with an open end on both sides - you use it dry and cover your hand/thumb over one side while hitting - remove your thumb from the other side to "steamroll" the hit. I prefer this piece over the traditional dry stem simply because I can keep my nano inverted the whole time (to prevent ABV dust from falling into the heater - I'm really OCD about ABV dust)

GonG's come in various shapes/sizes to fit the standard glass bubbler sizes. You can purchase 14mm or 18mm male GonG's direct from EpicVape (these fit into a standard 14/18mm female on most bubblers). @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd Also sells these, but with an optional "carb tube" to help prevent ABV blowback. He also sells female adapters if you are purchasing an oil-rig type bubbler with a male fitting (frosted side of the tapered glass helps indicate male vs female - if frosted glass is on the inside of the piece, it's a female, frosted on the outside it's a male)

So these fit all the E Nano glass stems, the stem and nano goes in top bit upside down i presume...the join from main bit to side mouth piece looks a little easy to break, anyone broke these easily? anyone have a video?

Thanks for the welcome Chippy. I too will probably relegate my Firefly to portable use only. It's still an awesome unit IMO and I certainly don't see giving it up at all. Just using it when I need stealth or away from home.

What a small world...you have the "other" curly koa!! After making my purchase I went back to the product page and saw that both curly koa's were now "sold-out". I was pretty stoked to have 1 of the 2. I can't wait to learn more, including what you mentioned about turning it sideways...thought that was an interesting observation.

Thanks for the feedback on the accessories. I can see now that I don't need to worry about the GonG unless I want to pair it with a water pipe. I like the idea of having a decorative dry stem, so I'll look into that for the future. Also, the steam roller still has me intrigued. Gonna definitely do more research!

Edit: the Epic VAPE website is down.

I find that bad flavor vapor actually doesn't make me feel too great. Something about being harsher on my stomach perhaps? I'm not too sure why, but that's been my experience so far. I take short hits for this reason.

Don't stir every hit. Try two or three hits, THEN stir, and get one more.

Try 5.5, just for the flavor. Bump it up by .5 after each hit, but don't stir until you get to your top level.
